It's true since there are many types of FGM but I meant the most common one which involves the removal of entire clitoris. There are even more extreme types which involve removing the labias, which I also haven't specified

"Women desire and enjoy sex as much as men do" - that's what I am talking about "but they don't <need> it" - what do you mean by "need" here, if not the desire, which you claim is the same? 🤔

Yes, what is your confusion?

No, it doesn't mean "sex drive is reduced", it only means I think women have to hide it more.

I don't think it is linked to culture - I said it is biological 🤨 But women are less likely to openly state that they like sex, because they could be shamed for it as "sluts". The culture is changing though

For women main sex drive hormones are estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. What is your point though?

I am not spamming, since I am not repeating my messages, nor posting irrelevant content. I have said I am against circumcision and you have answered with the irrelevant wall of text clearly written for people who are pro-circumcision 🤨

If her story is true, those guys were extremly unprofessional and should be fired from any demanding job. I cannot imagine making such comments in my company without repercussions - get a job done and have fun with work collagues on an after-work beer

believe me, women want sex as much as men do, they are just slutshamed more if they act on it but the times are changing

"I thought all men care only about sex" "I have always felt I have related to men more" I see 😏 But seriously it all depends on the types of people you meet, I am also a girl and I have an awesome friends group of both genders, which kind of always made me realize some people like sleeping around and others are romantic and it's not really correlated with gender. That's why the best advice is to just encourage friendships between people and the rest will go smoothly. Right now we are leaving in …

I am just stating basic facts, no need to get so angry: clitoris and penis are analogous, clitoral hood and foreskin are analogous. Clitoris is also more densly packed with nerve endings than a penis, so removing the equivalent number of skin centimeters would mean removing much more nerve endings.

Why do you post this spam under my comment where I have clearly stated that I want to ban all genital mutilation (which of course includes male foreskin removal)?

They have developed from the same proto-organ when we were fetuses. If you want to research it more, transmen who take testosterone have their clitoris grow to the point it looks similar a penis (without any operations, just hormones). Those organs are just biologically equivalent, idk what is so hard for you to understand here - it's basic biology that those organs are analogous 🤨

I wouldn't put voluntary piercing of either vagina or a penis into this topic since it has very little in common with traditional genital mutilations. And there definitly is a scale and a difference between a men who got his foreskin removed and a woman who had her clitoris removed, let's not be dumb and pretend it's not in order to compete for some oppression olympics. But the fact is that you are right and all involuntary genital mutilation should be banned. You have tackled another interestin…

Your first sentence is illogical for 2 reasons: Men also experience pleasure outside of touching a penis. Does it make male circumcision ok? "it's not like the foreskin is the only way a man experiences pleasure. There are no other nerves anywhere on the penis or elsewhere. Yeah, noo mate" 🤨 Clitoris has 8000 nerve endings and is responsible for majority of women pleasure - that's the reason fgm is performed in a first place, to stop women from having pleasure. 8000 nerve endings is much more th…

Vast majority of FGM is aboit removing at least the clitoris. Some types are even worse and remove labia minora or even labia majora. But just from raw numbers removal of the clitoris is more severe since clitoris has 8000 nerve endings, much more than any foreskin in the world. But it is caused by nerves being more densly packed on a clitoris than they are on a penis

Yes, clitoris has on average 8000 nerve endings but you are right that it is more sensitive because they are more densly packed compared to the entire penis. That's what I am saying in this thread by saying the equivalent of cutting of a clitoris is cutting of a penis but people get triggered for some reason 😕

and r/badwomenanatomy - it is the only way to compare clitoris and penis mutilations though
/r/MensRights06/07/21 01:19 PM

No need to get mad, I just want to understand why do you compare the very real FGM to a no longer existent practice of cutting off the entire penis. I pointed out that cutting off the clitoris is a biological equivalent of cutting off the penis, since they develop from the same organ (you can check it on fetus development comparisons). Just because they are biological equivalents doesn't mean they have the exact same functions. Males have one bodily system which is both procreative and urinary, …

It is not a fair comparison since women are losing in total much more nerves, the clitoris alone has 2 times more nerves than a penis. The FGM also makes period very painful. Not to mention following your logic male circumcision is ok since circumcised men can easily have children
/r/MensRights06/07/21 10:38 AM

clitoris is more sensitive than a penis, it has 2 times more nerve parts and FGM is cutting off the clitoris, not only the clitoral hood, so I am not sure what you are trying to say
/r/MensRights06/07/21 10:31 AM

What do you mean? Clitoris and penis are biological equivalents of each other, you can check out their development on fetuses if you want to know more. So cutting off the clitoris is an equivalent of cutting of the penis. And cutting off the clitoris destroys any pleasure from the penetrative sex for the woman as well (that's why FGM is done in a first place)
/r/MensRights06/07/21 10:28 AM

what specifically do you mean by "inner vagina"? the clitoris and penis are equivalents and the clitoris is partially inside the body as well and there are types of FGM which include cutting off inner labia minora and sewing labia majora together, leaving only a small hole for period blood to go out (which is very painful)
/r/MensRights06/07/21 10:25 AM

1/3 of males in the world are circumcised, mostly muslims
/r/MensRights06/07/21 10:19 AM

both are by definition mutilations however the equivalent of FGM for men would be cutting of the entire penis meanwhile the equivalent of male circumcision on women would be only getting rid of clitoral hood both should be banned but FGM is far more drastic: there is no use in comparing them though since you can argue against male circumcision without referencing FGM at all

Majority of women don't marry and date older men - by older I mean at least 10 years of difference, everything else is still almost the same age. And my expereince as a woman is a part of qualitative data - and I am not attracted to old pricks, idk what else to tell you and why are you so angry over this fact

I have said this disparity is not caused by attraction though but by gold digging - you are delusional if you think otherwise

I see I have really touched a button that you have decided to sperg out like that :'D 5 years is almost no difference, that's what I meant - people marry within their own age. My parents are happily married and my dad is slightly younger than a mum. But overall women are not attracted to old pricks and when you see a young girl marrying an old guy everyone knows it's because of money, not attraction

I can say for myself and my friends that we are not attracted to old pricks - and you shouldn't spread misinformation to men because you are hurting them by lying just to make them feel better.

Women don't like older dudes at all, this is just a cope some men told themselves when they are still single at 40
