This is a guy were talking about, just bring it up. "You ever done the friends with benefits thing?" eye contact "Want to?" Even if he says no, it's unlikely he'll embarrass you over it because he'll still be flattered. Now bare in mind if you go that route girlfriend is pretty much off the table but it sounds like you're looking for FWB anyway.

Redditors have this idea of women as unattainable, and with standards much higher than your average man. As if women are some how not susceptible to the same types of coercion men are. They have in their head that a "Hot 9 Russian Blonde" is a type of person, and there's no way the woman in their head would fall for such a stupid pickup routine. As if they know this woman, or based on most peoples posts, any women.

I don't think we're talking about the same thing. If you're trying to say "look presentable" I'm not talking about how you look. You're completely correct, it's just off topic from everything I'm saying. Again the realities of women having preexisting judgement of me does not factor into my behavior. I'm talking about behavior, and judgement and how it effects you. I'm not talking about how you present yourself. But lets say you just finished your lawn and you look like a laborer and smell like …

How you look, who you're with, your posture, how you speak - and more. All of these things that a woman can tell about you from afar. I won't dispute that, point is that that someone's opinion of your upon meeting is irrelevant. That's a base judgement, and easily swayed one way or the other. I'm sure she has an opinion, and knowing most women when being approached by a stranger, and me not being a chiseled Grecian God it's probably a negative one. At least apprehension or nervousness. If I let …

Oh I used to be the same, most likely worse. I was a social phobic, very afraid of human interaction. I wore my apprehension on my face and it would make people response accordingly. I constantly sat in fear of judgement from others because I thought they were a fair measuring post for my worth. That all stems from me not appreciating my own worth, I did that to myself. I thought if I behaved better, I would get positive feedback and it would prove to me I was better, and then I would feel bette…

Just the way a girl can look at you with incredulity is devastating. Sorry you had hard times man. All I can say though is, it shouldn't be devastating. The problem isn't the look, or the women but the fact that you let these things wound you. As example, I approached a group of three, and sat across from them with a friend and before I could even speak one was yelling at me, telling me to fuck off, making fun of my clothes and my hair. My friend was no help. They were all drunk, and had no time…

First? How does someone like or dislike you before they meet you? How would she even have a fair impression of you unless you talk to her?

Don't worry about what drunk girls do, they're drunk. It's a good sign though, drunk people tend to only think about a small subset of things, food, fun and fucking. So she either wants to hang out of get down. Just text her later.

Mm... I disagree. It's not about tricking someone. It's not subterfuge or hiding information. It's certainly not about taking advantage of someone when their guard is down. It's allowing them to not have to reject or accept you, but to allow the moment to be what it is and to let them decide on the merit of what that moment is. Not using their logical mind to weigh a bunch of irrelevant pros and cons that really have nothing to do with the moment. They either want to kiss you, or they don't want…

Well, you kissed a girl. Doesn't have to lead to anything. It will get you in state, maybe give you much needed practice. Also girls are fun to kiss. The point is this: she doesn't necessarily not want to kiss you. Women like kissing men. However when you lay it on the line with someone like that and say "Do you want to kiss me?" it's a lot of pressure, it's not sexy, it breaks both or your states and it say "Hey, validate me please because I'm not confident enough to just kiss you, so I need yo…

Yeah... that post is rife with errors, spelling and simple syntax. Had I known it would of gotten actual attention I might not of banged it out on my iPhone so quick. <_< Though cognitive dissidence is a great name for a punk band.

Sexual attraction actually thrives on cognitive dissonance and not on choices. While the outcome may have been the same, simply making it obvious that you were going to kiss her (and then following through if she doesn't stop you) is better than asking, only because it doesn't force a yes/no decision. It's easier to get an "eh why not" which is what can happen when you go for it. It's not a woman thing, it's just a people thing. If someone asks if you really want to get tacos you might not, beca…

I used to have a inappropriate view of failure as a bad thing. Failure is the best thing, it's actually better than success. You don't get better at things by doing them right, you get better by doing them wrong. After all your goal should be * improvement* not success. The joy of success fades but improvement is life long and is where success is generated. Embracing failure as a new type of victory is the most liberating shift a person can make imo. Then every situation is win-win.

Gonna regret that for a while... I may never see her again Stop that. Regrets are for people who don't plan on trying again.

If you make a joke, and people laugh... you probably shouldn't immediately be making more, unless you have everyone's attention and you are entertaining. Otherwise put the pressure back on them to live up to the joke you just made, don't combat yourself by trying to top your own material. This will mean you're funny, but not the dancing monkey because they have to work for your humor.

For the record, not true in Texas specifically and the South in general. We're friendly as hell and girls have no problem talking to you. Flirting is something you just do here, though there is a friendly level that is different than the serious level and people know the difference. Casual niceness will not be considered flirting and you do well to be more overt.

Unless you have a deformity or look like you got hit in the face with a shell your biggest issue is always going to be confidence. I've known plenty of really good looking losers. I'm not going to rate your appearance, but you obviously have an issue with it that is out of proportion to reality so work on that.

I'm going to back this up right here. Sex alone is not that great, women by themselves, not that great. Both are amazing as part of a complete life, but really they do nothing to aid in fulfillment if it's just acquisition because it will not fit in correctly. If you don't like yourself you would have to trick women into liking you, you would have to be false and present a fake person to them... or they have low self esteem and will sleep with people who don't even like themselves. No one really…
