If you solve a problem, there's no $$$ in being a leader of the movement to solve it. If you piss off a bunch of people by offering an irrational, equally repulsive alternative, you can still have someone to fight against.

In some states it's a felony for a woman to give her husband a blowjob. When they tried to repeal some of that shit in Idaho in the 80s, people went apeshit. None of that bullshit's going away anytime soon. Scalia won't live forever.

Your log ic is terrible. If you get programmed to burn all your money on stupid bullshit, it is a character flaw. If we are friends for a very long time, and I never told you that I was sexually abused, does it make me a bad person for hiding this embarrassing, traumatizing series of events from you? This is bullshit, as well. You see, it's her actions that are embarrassing. A more apt analogy would be if you were a child molester and never told your friend.

How do you know it's not going to put them underwater? If he's overseas because he's an enlisted service member, it could be a huge chunk of his income and being in that kind of debt can get his ass in hot water at work.

It's a lot less in vogue nowadays, but it was pretty common stereotype when feminism was newer and more fiery. Andrea Dworkin was a big voice and believed all intercourse (involving males) was rape. These days they like to pretend she never said it, but they have to twist things around pretty disingenuously to do it.
