Exactly my point

The child out of wedlock thing is the most under talked point in this discussion. Everyone unanimously agrees children raised in a two parent household are better off but all the millennials think marriage is an outdated patriarchal institution that needs to be destroyed, and that beside the other reasons marriage is a good thing.

Idk maybe I’m a contributor to the double standard, but it’s not really the same though? Like yes it’s assault but let’s actually analyze why people would have such a visceral reaction if the genders were flipped. Young girls are seen as needed to be protected from older men who want sex but teen boys want sex from anyone so both their peers and adults don’t really view it as something as bad. That sentiment should probably change because it isn’t fair to actual male victims but the stereotypes …

My freshman year of college was during COVID but statistically after COVID there’s been a drop in men going to college. And I know the type of guys who don’t go to college in my own life. They have no ambition and are content at mediocre dead end jobs for the rest of their lives.

This isn’t what feminism believes though

Scenario A is just current modern society. Scenario B if I had to make a prediction unfortunately I think it would lead to a significant rise in the rate of loneliness, rapes, sex work, and porn consumption. Basically there’d be no women who are girlfriend material but men still have their needs.

What reality am I rejecting? If normal everyday feminists hate men then what does it matter that some academics have written?

Does it matter what the people publishing books say if most people who identify as feminists either don’t read it or don’t believe in that?

Who was I blaming for that? I just pointed out there are things objectively harder for men because they are men which you said you didn’t believe. I wasn’t talking about social justice.

“But are men struggling because of being male? Because of their maleness? That remains to be seen” It’s a valid question but for many specific issues I’d argue yes. I think less men going to college though for example is an individual basis of men being dumb or getting bad advice. But take dating for example, if you’re not in the top 20% of looks for a man it’s objectively harder for you to date than a woman of equivalent looks, period. And that shows up on dating apps most but you can’t really …

Yeah I’d agree, there’s literally zero reason to believe in the current modern version of feminism if you’re a man. They hate you just for existing as a man and think women are still the victims and everything. And to act like you don’t see women as people if you’re not feminist, as if men don’t want gender equality.

Great, women can butt out and fix theirs too

That’s great that some feminist writers at different points in time have delved into men’s issues. It doesn’t change the fact that most feminist women start with the worldview that men are all bad and/or women are victims, and then derive their politics and social beliefs from that rather than the other way around. And that’s beside the fact that feminism can’t even get its messaging straight since no one knows what they really believe anymore. And even if you think that most feminists care abou…

Where are women supporting men who organize?

Go to r/askfeminists and ask if they care about men’s issues. I’ve asked and they hate men so much it’s not even on their radar that they could be disadvantaged.

Well they think all men are misogynists if they’re not feminists, and yes I’ve asked questions about men in their/askfeminist sub and the answers are always the same.

Ah shit my fault, I so rarely am in full agreeance with the OP that I forget there’s a comment I have to reply to for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 07:27 PM

As a guy I agree completely, I want someone to actually look at me and be attracted not need me to be perfect on a date to get them to suddenly look my way and feel desire. And women feeling like they’re objectified is just a misunderstanding of how men build attraction. They desire connection and want to put in effort but can’t ever get there if there’s no physical side to it. So even if he still likes your personality and you feel it’s genuine he still would not have been able to build that wi…

You can put a blank white photo on a dating app for a woman and it will still get more matches than the average man.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 10:27 PM

They have done experiments where they put a male model on a dating app and put in his bio that he was a sex offender and he still gets hundreds of matches. But I don’t really blame women because they get an overwhelming amount of matches they’re just never going to bother with 80% of them cause it’s a flawed system. But anyone who tells you it isn’t almost exclusively about looks to even have a chance on apps is lying. But they’re also objectively much more picky with men’s looks and photos than…

Yeah your comment was satire but the replies to it were accurate, it bothers guys because this is a real thing that happens if she meets an attractive enough or high status enough guy. As for your question anal sex I used to find interesting when I was more porn addicted now I find it kind of weird and impractical and I’ve never done it personally. So I wouldn’t care really.

It’s less about the specific kinks that bothers people and more about the fact that in these type of scenarios it’s that she let out her true self and true desires with someone else or maybe was giving them sex way more but forces you to be this sanitized betabux guy who she doesn’t have the same primal desire for. It deeply bothers men and amplifies their already existing insecurities especially if they’ve had issues feeling like they were good enough in dating or attractive enough. I think thi…

I’m a man, but I don’t think anyone in society regardless of where they fall politically, should be celebrating that half of all women of dating age are going to single and childless. What a sad stat.

Probably because any attractive young women has everyone and their dad trying to follow her on Instagram, and you can forget dating apps when she gets 50+ likes the second she downloads a profile. It’s just young guys adapting to a market stacked against them. I’m 24 and personally not interested in older women at all, but anyone who is I can see the logic and I respect.

This should be pretty obvious to anyone, I don’t think that’s a hot take. I think what does anger men who have no success with women is that women would rather be with an actual asshole who has what she wants than a “nice guy” who doesn’t have what she wants despite women constantly complaining about how the men in their lives treat them.

Kind of unrelated, but I didn’t realize women do the exact same thing but no one hates them for it on bash men subreddits on here.

So if it’s true most women out there are in relationships, who are they in relationships with? Clearly can’t just be people who only want sex.

For women with a top 1% guy or one who’s rich/famous, they’ll break every personal rule for him, that’s the difference. Giving sex early and as much as he wants, ignoring personality red flags, ignoring him talking to other women. Men hate the contradiction there, that’s where the “listen to what women do not what they say” really rings true. You logically bring up a fair criticism but I think the situations are completely different. Men might give more affection to a girl they really really lik…

I have standards and I have a type. I’m never going to lower the standards and I’d rather be alone than lower them. I just choose to focus on self improvement so I’m actually a looksmatch for my type. I don’t think most men in the real world think like that, because it’s easier to lower standards than look in the mirror. Which is fine if that makes them happy, just not for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 01:06 AM

There’s probably some truth to that. But your first argument is opposite to what many women complain about, which is that getting opportunities for casual sex (for mainly fat women in this context) does not equal relationship opportunities.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 10:46 PM

Women generally believe any male preferences are oppression even though it’s purely biology, just as it is with women not wanting men. Difference is fat men don’t call women fat phobic because they already know the answer, just lose the weight.
