Both prospects look to me exciting or bleak, depending on the time of day... Couldn’t have said it better. When you put it like this, it seems to make the most sense to just go with the flow and not regret your decision. You can regret having kids or you can regret not having kids, but both of those options are worse than enjoying whatever it is that you’re doing and not worrying so much about what could have been.

You definitely can dread too much. It usually manifests itself in paranoia that you’re already cheating on her. Don’t dread too much, it’s ok to be calmly reassuring to her that you want to be with her. If she thinks you don’t want to be in the LTR at all then you’re probably a little too aloof and should flirt with her more

All valid advice and warnings. For what it’s worth I meant I’m alpha in the sense that I have a good frame that makes her want to get my approval and see me as highly desirable and she shouldn’t ever assume I’ll stick around for bullshit. I didn’t mean just being a handsome successful guy is all you need. I just don’t like the word “game.” To me it’s associated with pick up artist and self help books, as well as turning relationships into childish, manipulative, drama-filled messes, instead of s…

I’d find your response more believable if you said you have been with some girls where attraction wavers and others where it hasn’t. Have any of your relationships been long term? If you had a long term relationship where your attraction literally never wavered, how long was it and more importantly, why did you end it?

Sorry I shouldn’t get argumentative when I’m looking for constructive discussion with real solutions. I just have seen enough existential despair in TRP that I’m not gonna waste too much of my short life contemplating the biological paradoxes that evolution has gotten us to. I guess I’d like to know what is your take/plan for kids/family? Or are you MGTOWing? I don’t think I could do MGTOW, it seems far too depressing to me to not have kids and grand kids when I’m old.

RIP Patrice O’Neal. But when would I be “ready” to settle down then? If all women are like this, then why throw away a healthy compatible relationship just for a few more years of being single, then once I do settle down, find myself back where I started with a new girl having the same wavering feelings of attraction at the 5 year mark?

Is it how it always ends? Or does it sometimes end with a couple of well adjusted kids that you raised with someone you’re emotionally compatible with because you didn’t just marry them for looks? Look, I don’t have oneitis and I’m not looking to be convinced to MGTOW. I want kids and a family. Period. I’m just making sure this wavering attraction thing is in fact par for the course and I didn’t accidentally pick someone that I’m not compatible with due to the dopamine of the first 4 years blind…

Idk dude honestly a fear of getting cheated on is probably more likely to cause you to get cheated on. What you’re doing can cause the “looking glass effect.” If you have this idea that women are innately driven to cheat then you could end up turning a perfectly loyal woman into a cheater. Have you ever been with a girl that got extremely jealous and thought you were cheating on her when you weren’t? If you have, you’d know it’s super unattractive and if anything pushes you to entertain the idea…

“Gaming her” is a beta expression. I’m alpha and get what I want and more often than not she’s the one initiating sex because she’s got a bit of dread that I’m such a catch. Too much dread is toxic and makes girls start going through your phone when you’re not looking. Can you elaborate on what you've found to be the correlation with the relationship dynamics and a girl’s attractiveness? I do sometimes feel she puts more effort into her clothes and makeup when she wants to remind me that she’s h…

I want to have kids in the early part of the next decade because I want to be able to be an active dad and enjoy playing sports and going on adventures with my kids. The stability has been good for me and my career thus far. We make each other laugh to the point of crying a lot. We have the type of chemistry that other people envy. My main question was about physical attraction. Women get old fast. Let me tell you that, if that's why you're marrying, you'll resent her very soon. Can you clarify …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
