I think that the phrase boys will be boys isn't said as often nowadays, it's just that the few toxic people who do say it are usually parents or older people and they say it all the time. So it's not that everyone or a lot of people says it, its that the people who say it, say it all the time. And sometimes it's said in an innocent way as in boys will be silly and crazy sometimes. But I've heard it also said as a way of excusing boys who bully or tease or act inappropriately because "he just lik…

Notice that it doesn't say rape! Say it how it is! She raped him! I'm sick of news sources saying "slept with" when it's rape! That woman should be getting just as much jail time as a man would get if he did that!

I don't agree with her point of view. You can be feminine and still be a strong and independent woman, and femininity doesn't define a woman. There's nothing wrong with a masculine woman. There's nothing wrong with an independent woman. They're just out living their life. What there IS a problem with is women who think it's ok to belittle men in the name of feminism. I thought that's what this sub was about. The toxic feminists (majority) who have refused to talk about men's issues, shame men fo…

Men can take off their shirt when it's hot with their bare chest exposed. Men don't have periods. Men don't have to give birth to have a kid with their DNA. Men are physically stronger

I don't think they should be valued any more than men. If you want a woman who doesn't have lots of sex, than you shouldn't be shamed for that but society should not treat women as if their value goes down when they have sex. Their value doesn't go down. There is nothing wrong with having a lot of sex. Its just a preference for some to have a woman who doesn't have a lot of sex.

He's just a kid. I would rarely suggest someone transitioning as a kid or minor even if it's just puberty blockers. While detransitioning is uncommon amongst transgender people, it is more likely to happen amongst people who transition as kids/minors. However, I did hear about a case where a kid became suicidal because he wanted to be a girl(he wanted girl parts and didn't want to go through puberty as a guy). He went through a lot of therapy to eliminate other possibilities (maybe he was just m…

Its supposed to make a point of why is it ok for women to say it but not men? There are countless instances where men get shut down for talking about legitimate issues that they face whereas women can say whatever, even manipulate statistics to make men seem evil, and get praise for it.

I think normalizing women having body hair isn't such a bad thing. Would you say a guy is unhygienic for having lots of body hair? No. However, everyone is entitled to their preferences. It's not unhygienic, but still a lot of men prefer mostly hairless women. I think that's perfectly ok. I honestly think preferences should be kept to oneself though. If you don't like hairy women, good for you, but why attack people for not fitting your preferences. There's someone for just about anyone. If a wo…

If she doesn't work, then why should you have to work AND cook and clean? Why is it expected for household duties to be split even while you work and she doesn't? It's ridiculous to me. However, depending on the amount of kids she has, it can be hard job to keep up with both household duties and kids (somedays quite impossible to balance it all) so a little help here and there wouldn't hurt. But I understand. You work at a power plant and I bet you are exhausted by the time you come home. So if …

The joke is sexist but it's not actual hate on women. If it's only said as a joke and not taken seriously, it's fine. However there will always be some people who think the person actually thinks that way/hates women, and gets offended. Jokes are meant to be funny, and a lot of funny jokes play on stereotypes which we can acknowledge are funny and just stereotypes and nothing more. Stereotypes are extremes, and we can acknowledge the humor in extremes.

I respect that opinion on rape. We may not quite agree on the nature/nurture aspect of rapists but I can see we are more/less on the same page about feminism/men's rights. While feminists claims to be about equality, it really has become more about female liberation only focusing on women's issues. Which is fine but mras need more attention and shouldn't be seen as the enemy of feminism. Men's rights activists shouldn't oppose the healthy side of feminism and Feminism shouldn't oppose the health…

A messed up part of society. Rapists are bad people. These aren't the general population of men because most men don't rape but the very small percent. Some of these rapists are raised in sexist households where they are pressured by their dad to have sex, taught that they are supposed to have control over women, and other sexist ideals. They hang around with people who have similar ideals to them, and then that's where they might do that. The behavior is discouraged but that doesn't mean that i…

I think I made a poor point about rape. What I meant to say is that the reason rape culture exists is partly societal pressure, the other part them being a bad person. People who roofie girls will often pressure their friends to do it too. People who rape are bad, but it is ALSO part of how they were raised. Do killers kill for no reason? Usually not. Do rapists rape for no reason? Usually not. This is not an excuse, just a reason. Rapists are bad people, but if we can change the way that guys a…

What I mean is that if we didn't have any laws against rape, and murder, sure there's be some people who would do those things, but most humans have a pretty good moral compass against those things because we desire connection and form those complex bonds.

Its both. Rape culture exists as well as societal rules that discourage rape. I think rape is mostly discouraged in our society but there still IS a lot of pressure for men to get laid AND there are still guys that encourage other guys to roofie women or get a girl drunk in order to get laid because some guys are willing to do something very wrong, out of desperation to get laid because of the pressures on men to get laid. This doesn't make it ok. Where this links to patriarchy is the patriarchy…

Humans have sex because of a bond they form with one another and for pleasure, which is why consent exists with humans in just about all societies. Animals have sex only to procreate and animals don't have concept of consent which is why consent doesn't exist for (most) animals. Consent isn't just a societal thing, I think it's part of our moral compass. Do you think without societal rules, people would just kill each other? No. Because humans aren't killers by nature, just as they aren't rapist…

Maybe it used to be that way, but now we are seeing unfair dehumanizing treatment to BOTH men and women. Men are seen as dicks and wallets by the misandrist women and women are seen as sex dolls and housewives by the misogynist men. The only difference is that women seeing men as disposable is seen by many in this society as empowering, but a man seeing a woman as disposable makes him an asshole. Also, misogynistic men are decreasing whereas misandrist women are only increasing.

Dating is literally a financial investment at this point. She expects you to pay the bill so you suggest a coffee date, but of course she has a problem with that. So you take her out somewhere nice, and turns out she was using you for a free lunch/dinner, and the same thing happens with the next girl. A lot of feminists take advantage over traditional roles when it benefits them, but not when it doesn't. They want guys to pay for the first date, and often times most of the dates, whilst rejectin…

1. Some guys think two women kissing and doing things to each other is hot. Lesbians are even fetishized by some men. The same men who fetishize lesbians will often hate on gay men because they only like lesbians because they find them attractive. 2. Seeing gay men as less masculine. Typically when we think of gay men, we think of examples in the media where gay men are super feminine. Of course not all gay men are like that but a lot of times if a guy comes out as gay, he is seen as less mascul…

I don't think women as a whole do this, but there's still enough women who do do this to where it's a problem. I have a friend who got accused of sexual harassment and I was there and he didn't do anything. The girl even admitted later that she just didn't like him and he never sexually harassed her. The problem in society is that it's too easy for women to make an accusation if they simply don't like someone and a lot of people choose to believe the woman to avoid being seen as a misogynist by …

I believe that a long time ago, in times where humans were just merely surviving, men typically took the role of protecting and hunting and women took the role of taking care of kids and gathering like berries and stuff because that's what was done out of survival according to their biological advantages over one other. Men are naturally stronger and women have more parental instincts and can see more colors to distinguish berries and plants. But now, we aren't just surviving so I believe that w…

I think what happens is in order to correct a gender imbalance due to a gender bias, we give more opportunities and help to women, but in doing that, now there is a gender imbalance and bias that swings the other way in favor of women because people still think that men get more opportunities and so they try to correct it even though it now needs to be corrected the other way.

Quote from the article "why are you focused on relieving the lighter burden men carry in dating before addressing the significant burden women face in their everyday romantic lives?" The answer is this: women's issues are already being addressed a lot, and men's issues are kicked to the curb and seen too often as not important. However, men's issues no matter how "small" need to be addressed before they become bigger issues..For example: The issue of men paying first date has already become a bi…

It's because a lot of women are taught that their boyfriend or husband is supposed to treat them like a princess and that they should accept nothing less than this kind of treatment. So when a woman is unfaithful to her boyfriend/husband, she can just say that her partner wasn't meeting her impossibly high standards as an excuse and people will blindly blame the guy for it despite that fact. However, when a guy is unfaithful, even if the reason is that he isn't being given the bare minimum love …

The issue is that when someone dates someone who is a lot younger, there could potentially be a power imbalance. However, I wouldn't call him a pedophile or a predator for dating Billie because Billie is 21, she's not a minor, and she has been an adult for a few years so I don't see why that would make him a predator or pedophile. Another thing is we don't even know if there is a power imbalance in their relationship. Just because it happens a lot in relationships with big age gaps doesn't mean …

It could also be that some of the women on that post value other things in men. Ex. Women's worth in society is often placed on their looks and men's worth in society is often placed on how much money they make. Men are said to be more visual and select a partner off of physical appearance because that's how they were raised. While women often choose a man that can provide for them financially.

The problem wasn't the actual post. It was the comments from the post shaming the guy for having a low sex drive. The post itself didn't seem like it came from a place of hate, but a place of frustration and wanting to know what to do about their situation. She wants to know if there's something that SHE is doing wrong in the relationship. She isn't shaming her boyfriend, the commenters on that post are the ones shaming.

My point is that prostitution is women taking advantage of lonely thirsty men (incels) to acquire resources This could apply to many companies too though. The tobacco company needs people to smoke to still be in business and it profits the most off of addicts. The fast food industry needs people to eat unhealthy in order to thrive, they profit a lot off of bigger people and people addicted to eating their food. Prostitution is the same way. Sex can be fun, which is why prostitutes exist, because…

Women tend to be more two-faced. Nice to your face, talk shit behind your back, whereas men tend to be more straight-forward. If they don't like you they'll let you know off the bat. Some men are told they are too "brutally honest" because they don't always let others down the nicest way. But I'd rather someone say what they think of me from the start rather than only pretend to like me

I guess only fans is seen as empowering to women because women are getting money for posting nudes instead of getting romantically involved with someone and showing nudes for free. Also, what a lot of people like about onlyfans is that the person has to pay to see nudes of them and they can chat with the people who pay for their nudes. A lot of the men who pay and view this content do it because it's a way for them to get nudes without getting romantically involved with the person. Sometimes it'…

It's only rape if the person forced themselves upon you without consent, if they continued going when you said to stop, or if they were sober and you were clearly intoxicated and decided to take advantage of you not being able to consent. If you both agreed to have sex, both sober, and you acted like you enjoyed it and never communicated that you didn't like it, it's not rape. If you both were drunk, both mutually agreed to have sex (nobody forced the other to do anything they didn't like), it's…

It depends when both of them are drunk. Did they both say they wanted to have sex at the time? Or did one of them force themselves onto the other? If he was drunk and she was drunk and the guy was like, "I want to have sex" and the girl says, "yeah!" and they both have sex and they both enjoy it, she just regrets it the next day, I don't think that should count as rape. But if he forces himself onto her (it doesn't matter if he was drunk as well) that's rape. Same if a girl forces herself onto a…

I agree. I think things like Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Envy are sins in the bible because too much of it could cause issues. I don't think they should seen as sins though. These things in moderation, I think are ok. I don't think watching porn makes one too lustful, but a lot of people especially religious think that is where the line must be drawn. There's a stigma with porn even though a lot of men watch it and a lot of them are fine. I think the belief is that when you watch porn, you begin to s…

If say, a man and a woman have discussed whether they want kids and both said no, both used birth control (or that's what he thinks at least) to prevent the pregnancy, then the woman gets pregnant and decides to keep it, and the guy says immediately that he can't be there he never wanted it. The guy shouldn't have to pay child support for 18 years. But, if the guy gets her pregnant, and says he'll be there for her, waits until a lot later in the pregnancy past the date she can get an abortion, a…

Wtf?! People like this who treat their kids unfairly because of their sex shouldn't have children. What happens when the boy gets older and has questions about his body? Is she just gonna be like, I'm sorry son but that's really gross?! Anyways, this woman should not have children any children, even if she had a daughter she still would be projecting her disgust for men and their parts towards her daughter.

Ok, so I checked my sources on women being more creative and I was half right. Studies show on average, women are more creative than men but men are more likely to pursue art and dominate in creative fields. So I was wrong about women dominating creative fields but women are still naturally more creative. They are statistically good at coming up with creative solutions, and because women have smaller hands, they are better at creative jobs that require lots of tiny details. I disagree with you o…

It's just harder for male porn stars to make sufficient money from the industry because the main consumers of porn are straight men so women dominate in the porn industry. Just like it's harder for women to make sufficient money in some sports like soccer, basketball, and football because statistically men dominate in those sports.

Science shows that men's attraction to a woman lowers when she is crying. This is not something unique to women. Men typically don't find crying attractive either. The difference is that men are expected to be comforting during this time even though nobody comforts them when they're sad. But women aren't expected to do shit when a man is upset. They usually just get all weirded out by it, as if men don't have emotions too. In a good relationship, the woman will comfort the man through his bad ti…

Women can do anything that men can do, and Men can do anything that Women can do but that doesn't mean that some things won't come easier to men and other things won't come easier to women. Because of biological differences, men are typically a lot stronger, so it would be harder for women to do some of the jobs that men do. I hate that in order for it to count as rape legally, a man would have had to have been penetrated. If a guy was forced to penetrate, that should've counted as him being raped. I think that cumming/ejaculating IS orgasming, but the reason we don't always recognize it as such when it happens is because the ejaculate/orgasm doesn't always happen when we're at the peak of our arousal like we think it would. To clarify, I believe climax is an orgasm but orgasming isn't always the climax. An orgasm where we ejaculate/cum but don't climax usually happens when we're pretty aroused but not at the peak of arousal and our body has a mini spasm which causes ejaculate or cum but d…

All I can think about is the song WAP and the lyrics, "I don't cook, I don't clean, but let me tell you how I got this ring. Gobble me swallow me...." That whole song is about a transactional marriage. She lets the husband do what he wants with her sexually, and she gets bank from it. We say women are more affected by all of these. But you'd be surprised to know the reality isn't what the media tells you. I feel like as far as the girl scouts and boy scouts thing goes, it should just be called scouts, with no separation of the genders. There can still be a boys club and a girls club, so that kids can have a gendered space that they can just hang with other boys or girls their age. I think that some feminists choose when they support equality. When it comes to having choices, like having the option to be a housewife who doesn't work, or going to work instead of being a housewife, they are all for it. But when it comes to men's stuff, men are still expected to support their partner financially, feminists don't support men breaking gender roles. Exactly. It's not natural instinct. It's taught. A lot of men grow up being told by their parents to fight back the school bully, to suppress their emotions, that they need to be in control of their life. When men are not allowed to express sadness, anxiety, or stress, it comes out as anger. If your kid has become violent and you need to teach them that it's not ok to be violent, you need to also let them express their stress, anxiety, sadness, and anger in healthy ways. Is there a big problem with men on women violence in Australia? If so, I can understand why it's important to teach boys how to treat women if it's a huge issue. Also, women can be abusive too and women on men violence is often underreported. So actually, ALL KIDS should be taught that violence isn't ok. Also, there will always be some people out there who are just violent people. We most likely will never get rid of it completely.

Women are not sex dolls and house wives. Men aren't dicks and piggy banks. While women's issues are being discussed and progress is being made on the way men treat women, I don't see the same recognition or progress when it comes to men's issues.
