I believe we need more men in phycology, here's why:To your point, as a male psychology academic, a new trend has emerged in recent years: woke feminist students using teaching evaluations to try to cancel me for the sin of, on rare occasion, expressing opinions that differ from their own, specifically that men and their mental health matter. I just had a student complain in a teaching evaluation that she didn't feel "emotionally safe" in my class because of the one time I discussed men's mental health. My female feminist boss used this as eviden… | /r/MensRights | 31/01/25 09:13 PM
I believe we need more men in phycology, here's why:Psychologist and academic here. The profession has become a woman's space. They have no interest in having more men in the profession. Their woke ideology says that men are the least deserving people of empathy or consideration. The profession could be 95% women and they wouldn't care. Every one of my academic colleagues is a woman - literally every one of them - and they couldn't care less about having men among our students. | /r/MensRights | 31/01/25 09:08 PM

The double standards of Female violence.During a disagreement, an ex gf took my laptop I used for work, and made a point of maintaining eye contact while she snapped it in half over her leg. Her face expressed "what are you going to do about it?" She smiled. The Duluth Model says this is ok because woman are inherent victims of men who are apparently members of tyrannical patriarchy. I must have missed the day they handed men our membership cards. | /r/MensRights | 19/01/25 11:52 PM

Australian media laments 9-10 year old boys' mathematical success. The prize for winning, for women, is attention and validation on social media. Where they compete against each other. For men, it's grinding and going our own way. | /r/MensRights | 19/01/25 01:54 AM
For men who work in female dominated fields, how often do you hear casual misandry? My institution has specific programs for hiring and promoting women. Despite their being more than 70% of us. There is an bureaucrat, a woman, whose job is to preferentially hire non-men. | /r/MensRights | 18/01/25 10:47 PM

The people (prosecutor, judge, cops) who violated this man's presumption of innocence should go to prison. | /r/MensRights | 18/01/25 10:37 PM |
Diversity, Diversity, Diversity...I am convinced men fundamentally see the world differently than women. There is a level of honor we have that women do not. This is specific to modern women and does not apply to older women. Radical feminism is toxic. | /r/MensRights | 18/01/25 10:31 PM

Where Have All the Young Democrats Gone? (OP: article heavily discusses the gender gap in the vote)Amazing comment. It's radical feminism. In place of honor. Social media has revealed all. My best to you. | /r/MensRights | 18/01/25 07:32 PM
Australian media laments 9-10 year old boys' mathematical success. This is so sad. Radical feminism has destroyed society by breaking the social contract. | /r/MensRights | 18/01/25 09:45 AM
Australian media laments 9-10 year old boys' mathematical success.Totally consistent with my experience. There will be a need to reckon with the implications of there being no men. We are not there yet because women need to keep winning. But it will happen soon. Soon, there will be schools with no male teachers. No male psychologists. This happen in a decade. | /r/MensRights | 18/01/25 06:27 AM

Wanted: More young men enrolling in collegeI went to college for 10 years. I acquired no income in my 20s. To enter a profession that has now become feminised. | 2 | Wanted: More young men enrolling in collegeMen need to walk away. At some point, women might notice and care that all the men are gone. And that can be the start of a conversation. This will not happen for a long time. | /r/MensRights | 18/01/25 12:27 AM

Male primary school teachersGood luck with that! I think we're seeing the only way to get the feminist agenda out of education is to create alternative institutions from the ground up that come from a different philosophical position. Like the University of Austin. Such institutions have to be something the radical feminists can't control. | /r/MensRights | 17/01/25 11:21 PM
Australian media laments 9-10 year old boys' mathematical success. It's a "gendered" crisis. I am convinced feminism is about winning, not equality. Feminists only care about "equality" if they are not winning in a particular domain. Those domains in which they are winning in a most unequal manner are all good. | /r/MensRights | 17/01/25 11:13 PM

Where Have All the Young Democrats Gone? (OP: article heavily discusses the gender gap in the vote)Great comment. I would slightly modify it from the issue being wanting to caring about losing men. I think the dems simply don't care about men and would happily move forward with no men if that allowed them to win. | /r/MensRights | 17/01/25 11:04 PM
Stop saying the left has changed. Stop calling it the left. It’s Feminism.Couldn't agree more. University professor here. I am planning on quitting and going my own way, despite being good at this job, because of radical femism. I worry about being cancelled when I teach. Every single colleague I have is a feminist woman. The academy is now a space for woke feminists. Men should leave. Someday, women will look around and wonder where all the men have gone, and perhaps even care about their absence. But I believe that will take a decade at least. | 1 | USA: Female teacher 'began sleeping with boy when he was 11 and had his baby when he was 13'Such an important point. My hope is that societal midandry is increasingly able to be called out. And that feminism is exposed as an ideology of hate. | /r/MensRights | 17/01/25 10:31 PM

USA: Female teacher 'began sleeping with boy when he was 11 and had his baby when he was 13'One does not "sleep with" an 11-year-old. This is rape. This poor young man will not spend a day in his life free from dealing psychologically and otherwise with the actions of this monster. If he has to pay child support, the world is fundamentally wrong. These cases need more publicity. | /r/MensRights | 17/01/25 10:24 PM
Five Catholic college students charged with luring a 22-year-old soldier before they falsely accused him of being a pedophile as part of "Catch a Predator" TikTok trendToxic radical feminism is a plague on society. | 5 | Five Catholic college students charged with luring a 22-year-old soldier before they falsely accused him of being a pedophile as part of "Catch a Predator" TikTok trendInteresting! | 1 | Alimony TaxYep. I paid $500 per week to my ex for years. Paid tax on that income but she didn't. Even though our salaries were discrepant, by the time that payment was deducted from my salary with tax, and added to hers without tax, the greater than $50k income difference between us was gone. The more my income increased, the more my "child support" payments increased. It's child support + alimony just not in name. It doesn't cost $500 per week to take care of a 17-year-old. | /r/MensRights | 15/01/25 07:48 AM

What's your opinion on the "objectifying" argument ?Men objectify women based on their appearance. Women objectify men based on their bank account. These are evolved preferences and make sense for each gender. | /r/MensRights | 15/01/25 07:36 AM
Male erasureYes! Feminism is about winning. Feminists love their victories. For example, universities becoming a female space, a huge win. My profession of psychology is now > 80% women. Still space to win more! But winning comes at a cost, that feminists do not give a shit about because they're too busy winning. Taking my profession, it is close to being entirely abandoned by men. I sit back and watch this and wonder when the feminists will decide we have a problem. 90%? 95%? 99%? I don't think they will c… | /r/MensRights | 15/01/25 07:05 AM
Men face growing pressure to use steroids as studies show increase in male body dysmorphiaI could be wrong, but my experience is that men and women put on weight differently. When I gain weight, it goes straight to my belly. When women gain weight, it is distributed more evenly, adds to their curves in a manner that might make them even more attractive. Whereas my belly is in no way attractive. No woman wants my "curves." | /r/MensRights | 15/01/25 06:56 AM

Gaslighting about misandric social normsThank you for your perspective. I had thought Trump defeating Harris was, in part, a referendum on the anti-male bias of the left, but I might be off base. What do you think? | /r/MensRights | 15/01/25 06:44 AM
Gaslighting about misandric social normsA friend of mine has a theory that society is held hostage by a minority of our population, specifically highly vocal.and hostile radical feminists with personality disorders. They dictate matters due to a lack of pushback. In Australia, there is no pushback because there is no conservative movement. Different story in the US. | /r/MensRights | 15/01/25 06:36 AM

| 20 | Male coworkers and bosses are usually so much more chillTotally agree. I used to think women would make better managers because they would be kind and nurturing whereas men would be more likely to be blunt and rude. Boy was I wrong.
