Cynthia Shapiro author. Also Nick Corcodilos. “Ask the headhunter” Be as grey as possible when dealing with HR. Sadly HR has wandered far off its actual purpose of employment law, hiring and staffing administration, and attracts those who may be good at paperwork and procedures, but know little to nothing about the sharp end realtor the frontline business. HR is there to protect the company, not to have your back. Keep all records of talking with HR, always be scrupulously civil in dealing with …

Oh am no Chad, I can assure you 😆 It is a lucid point though that you raise on rejection, and one with which I empathise and do not discount wholesale. None of us like being frustrated in our goals outright, particularly repeatedly, though I would suggest most dislike it, swallow the bitterness and move on, some get bent out of shape over it, a few go crazy while thankfully a tiny minority go full mentally pathological like that Elliot Roger loser or columbine kids. I can tell you, though YMMV, …

“Most guys can’t handle rejections”? Um sweeping statement. I’ve been rejected near every damn day of my adult life, for the past 30 years with jobhunting - why should some silly girl’s whim be any different? You get used to it, fast. Doesn’t faze me. water off a ducks back!

The trick here is for you to be socially busier (or the appearance of it) and have more options (or the appearance of it) than her. That’ll get her hamster going and wondering why you’re in demand. Girls hate missing out socially, PARTICULARLY on what other girls are getting, including men.

Recruiting is the same. You rarely discover exactly why they said no when applying for a job.

This is also true in the HR/Recruitment world. Jobhunting and Dating have the same ROI Metrics and 90/10 rule. Applying for a job is similar to approaching, when you throw in a woman to the mix as recruiter, it’s even more overt. 90% of the time, just like dating you will never receive any feedback on what you need to improve, so you get a “Mathew Effect” in both job and dating markets. Girls have no benefit in helping men who are (or are perceived as) BP or beta approachers or jobhunters —so to…

We’re smart enough to realise that when discussing a cohort or demographic not in terms of a Paper under peer review, attributes and conclusions about said demographic(s) are in broad terms. Moreover, it is clear from the context of the article that “...do all the thinking...” essentially means to take the lead in the decision making process. The man is the Just King Solomon that is wise and Just, the woman his consort or Queen that makes contributions with which he considers and weighs Justly. …

He means broadly. Broadly is good enough. There will be outliers on the bell curve. He is not talking about the outliers.

Girls want to see the magic trick, they don’t want the trick explained. As Rollo Tomassi said, “Girls want to eat the sausage. They don’t want to know how it’s made.”

Just that? I’d also point to older boys and young men unable to divorce from Oedipal mothers.

Thank-you for the swift and considered reply. It does sound incredible, yes, I agree, yet am deadly serious.Again, see my AMA, that will explain the odd position I'm in. (correction: it's 30 yrs out of work in total). As I have said, there is no suggestion that my job as a Salesman •was• a career, I have yet to establish a career, a career as we know being, broadly a succession of jobs with upward mobility and promotions whether within the same company or sideways, though sideways has been more …

Look chaps, you need to read my AMA briefing, because some have answers no bearing in reality to the circumstances that I'm outlining and are of limited use or not applicable. It's a mere two paragraphs, no "TLDR", as the vernacular goes. That is not to say that I do not appreciate the replies and discussion, I do very much I can assure you. I will copypasta it into the OP.

Interesting you mention the desensitisation thing because I can bone a woman a long long time and never orgasm, probably for the same reason. That's kinda great from her perspective but does leave them a bit nonplussed as to why I'm not climaxing, so they start to think they're not sexy enough or something, that occurred with my ex.

By the end of 60 days, my testicles were feeling kind of um..'dead', it's hard to describe, but it wasn't pleasant.

That's not what Job Centre Plus staff tell me about Job Seeker's Allowance, Universal Credit may be different, though I do not claim that, only dole and Personal Independence Payment (formerly DLA). Am not going to get into the weeds of the UK welfare system other than point out that it presents perverse incentives of the Welfare Trap. For those not aware of what this is, it is when looking at salary of a post, by the time you've worked out what your net salary is and removed all current welfare…

The reasoning is I got fired from a call centre after blowing up at a colleague because I had a bereavement the previous weekend and was getting office bullied, the betting shop I was fired from I failed an ask 21 age verification check test. I argued at the tribunal that the laddie looked over 21 to me eye of the beholder stuff and what not, they disagreed. I wouldn't have lasted in the betting shop cashier post anyhow, as I'm crap at fractions, was actually worse off at 18 hours a week at £7.5…

I've been fired only really twice, I suppose technically three times with the first firing at 20 in 1992when I got my brain haemorrhage, surgery and coma, the second firing occurred in 2015, and the third in 2018. I've had three jobs with a total experience of three years. See my AMA. Or would it be easier to copypasta the AMA here again since reddit modbots doesn't allow reddit links? Incidentally in the UK, it is better if you want to leave your job to ensure you've another lined up. If you ha…
