Tromsø is nice, I've been there recently with a couple of friends. If you're really after aurora, there are companies that will take you wherever you have biggest chance of seeing it (few hours driving is not uncommon). Yeah, it's somewhat expensive, but hey, everything in Norway is expensive, and it *is* *fucking* *worth* *every* *cent*. It really is very different from the photos - it is much less bright, but it moves almost like a snow or very fine sand moves with wind.

Iceland is a little bit more southern and these years you're in solar minimum. Also, it being island you're having a lot of cloud cover. But I've heard it's awesome place to visit anyways!

To be honest, knife can be more dangerous in close combat than gun. And if you attack from behind you have element of surprise on your side. I'd bet the attacker wouldn't have much more problems with male cops either. What frightens me more is that in a last few weeks/days, (despite no terrorist attack here ever) cops began walking with fullauto (long) guns. Accidental firearm discharges of regular handguns are not unheard of. I can't even imagine consequences of accidental discharge of one clip…

Hmm, you've probably misunderstood me. When I've said "I am not obese, plus-size, extra large or whatever. A lot of my body cells is a fat cells, so I'm fat" I meant it that I don't like those newspeak-ish words. I'm fat and I know it's caused by my bad habits. Calling oneself "extra large", "plus size" or whatever is now popular is just an attempt to hide this obvious fact.

To be honest.. I've started slow with some active VR games, since it's probably not good idea to start running right now. It's fucking huge difference! Even a few minutes of active "workout" a day can be a difference between "I've slept 10 hours and still feel tired" and "I've slept 7 hours and I'm ready for anything, bitch!".

Oh, you can't kill a brain dead patient... I mean, brain death usually equals legal death (at least in sane jurisdiction) and you can't kill something that is dead. The coma is a different thing - temporary loss of consciousness does not definitely mean it's okay to kill a person - otherwise it would be possible to kill someone in a sleep. Although I'd probably prefer to die with some "dignity" than "live" as a shitting/pissing vegetable for a few years.

I entirely disagree that abortion is not a murder - I don't think you can "murder" something that is not sentient. What I find extremely irrational is the "my body, my choice" (but no responsibility) approach - woman is the only that can decide on abortion, so she should bear the consequences of such decision . I did a quick calculation based on an average person in my country (EU member state). I'm counting only income taxes and social insurance (health insurance and VAT are excluded for simplicity).
