I’m a late bloomer, okay but I’ve always thought that, the “I thought you looked cute opener” was great. I think it is conveys your intentions to a girl and it could be combined with other compliments like her style of dress or anything really. Sure other openers work but I think they require much effort to ultimately communicate your intent. That’s my 2 cents.

I understand where you are coming from. This year, I had planned to change my life and go out more. In my country, we’re under level 1 and people are still wearing masks which is cool. Maybe try online dating like Tinder or get yourself in situations where you and the girl are at a safe distance to communicate. It goes without saying that, it will feel awkward but don’t fret. A beautiful woman will always radiate through any face covering. I think you could compliment on her on the style of her …

Don’t be too hard on yourself. Approaches are terrifying, take it from a guy who is 30 and never dated. Be nice to yourself and have the belief that you can do it. One positive from this, is that you went out. Good luck.

Thanks. This is so key. I have seen it in the animal kingdom where males would be trying to impressed females and sometimes it doesn’t work out. I know they aren’t human, but it seems like the animals don’t take it personally. As a late bloomer, this is a fundamental lesson to me.

Thanks. The point you’ve made is clear. I wouldn’t want to start a relationship based on a lie and I totally agree with all the points in your comment. I wrote on another reply here that, I used tell women beforehand, I have never dated and it never turned out well. Should I tell my story at the beginning of a relationship or while still going out on dates?

Honestly, telling women that I have never dated was me being transparent and owning it. Then somebody here asked me, what am I trying to achieve telling women that I have never dated and I couldn’t really answer. I felt like I was seeking sympathy from them and I finally understood that, it was not really important to tell, especially on early on. I am of the idea that, I should tell however when I see that, it is getting serious or something. Thank you for the advice.

Thanks. I told this other girl (on Tinder) not long ago that, I have never dated and at first, she was curious wanting to know why. I told her what happened and I guess that came out childish, unconfident and borderline needy. So right after, she decided to go mum. By that time, I had her number so I called her a number of times, she didn’t pick up, I realized the signs and the fact that, I was becoming needy. I stopped & deleted the number. So, I came here and somebody advised me to never do it…

I like your comment. Truth be told, the reason why I haven’t dated is that, I have approach anxiety and I don’t feel comfortable in the way I look. If I like a girl, like this woman at work, I would rather keep quiet because I don’t want seem weird. I don’t know how to deal with all this AA stuff. I know, it’s all about the numbers game and I don’t have a problem with rejection. But when I want to approach a girl, the fear of the unknown, normally cripples me and takes over. I always think, the …

I guess she had a problem. The funny thing is that, I asked her if she had a problem, she said no. I assume she was just being curious with phone call. Honestly, when I told, I wasn’t expecting anything in return.

I do relate to your story in some one way. I have been insecure about my looks and I still am. At the base of insecurity about one’s looks, is fear of rejection. You can imagine I have bad teeth so, I get insecure about smiling or even talk to girls I like. That has really stifled my progress. One thing, I can recommend is to learn to love yourself with all your perceived “flaws” which is sometimes difficult but doable. I have met girls with crooked teeth before and I thought that, they were cut…

Thanks Captain. Your words of encouragement are so profound. Sometimes, when I’m met with rejection, I seem to think that there’s something wrong with me that’s why my mental critic is always up in arms. I keep forgetting the fundamentals such as not every girl out there is going to find me attractive and that’s okay. Rejection stings and in order to have a calloused mind, like you said, I’m going to have to put myself through the pain.
/r/seduction01/03/20 10:31 PM

Apparently, it’s disrespectful. I mean if I had to judge the interaction now, I would say, it’s was cool, calm and respectful. And since she threw some banter at me, I calibrated for a minute and thought, okay maybe she’s kinda interested hence I asked to hang out. I’m aware approaching girls at work makes them uncomfortable but I think with awareness, an approach is possible. Thanks 👍👍👍

Thanks. I’ll definitely take your advice. I’m still new at this and it’s nice to get some feedback. Now that I’m thinking about it, I have noticed that, I’m so quick about asking for a hang out without having had the opportunity to build rapport. Next time, on a different girl, I’ll try it. 🙂🙂

Thank you very much. I just went for a walk and I couldn't do a single approach. I kept thinking how I hate myself and when I got into an eye-contact with a girl, I kept wondering what is she thinking about me? My critic came in and said, well, it's your ugly face dummy. I have never dated at 30yrs old and people are on my case about having kids and marriage. I mean, I'm not under pressure of having kids but I really want to accept and love myself unconditionally. I want to be free of outcome an…

Great stuff, your story is so inspiring and it would be awesome to have someone like you as a friend. It's really good to see that, you pushed yourself against all odds. Just to share a bit about myself, I'm a 29yr old loser who can't approach, put girls on a pedestal and I hate it. I don't have friends and sometimes, it really gets lonely to tell the truth. Anyway, I really want to change my life and do something with it. I'll be implementing the whiteboard idea as well and have a penalty syste…

It seems like something I would do as well, blend in. I’m a huge introvert and kudos to you for going out to the other club alone. You not getting the number is not the end and you’ll do well next time. I’ve always wanted to go out alone, would you kindly share in terms of how was the experience?

Thanks, I think improv classes could work but then I was planning to go to therapy. I’m really a hard-case newbie, I still have to learn about closing hard and other concepts, that’s why I’m taking it slowly but I’m really serious about taking action.
/r/seduction25/08/19 06:03 PM

I’m a newbie however I think the best-case scenario is to acknowledge the fact, she has a boyfriend and politely say thank you, enjoy the rest of your day. If can read up on her actions then, I say, try push for the number/instant date or whatever.
/r/seduction25/08/19 05:59 PM
1

Well, I’m planning to defy my mind and approach. I have realized action speaks louder than words. At this stage where I am, outcome decency is not an option. I’ll learn other concepts as I march along. The key for now is to get started.
