I'm trying to improve my social value. How can I improve my status with men? It seems like now most of my friends are girls.

Excuse: It's too late in the semester in this small class (20people) to start talking to this girl. Ended up talking to her a bit didn't progress much at all, but it was better than doing nothing.

Damn I'll ask one more time and if she doesn't offer anything else so be it I guess

Sorry to hijack your thread op but I have similar question asked a girl out on Wednesday for the following Tuesday. She said she couldn't do it because of her situation and I understood it (unless of course she was lying) I want to at least get a shot with her, but I don't want to say "well tell me when you are free" because it makes it seem like I'm too dependent on what she says. Or is that the only course of action I can take?

You go out 4 times a week? Damn that is a lot. But as other people have said here I wouldn't recommend buying food or drinks until you've reached a certain point in your relationship. That being said I occasionally take out girls for dinner, but only on Tuesdays when it's half priced lol.

Try talking to girls at clubs then. Join something you are interested it. If you look for girls at parties they will probably have the hookup mentality.

It was something like "I noticed you from across the room and I couldn't help not knowing your name" This was in community college when I was in high school I felt great afterwards. (Not so much now)

Thanks I'm probably far to conscious about it. I never bring my past up unless people ask... But it's kind of hard to hide the way I talk. I just don't really like this sort of attention.

Everyone here at my uni assumes I'm a foreigner from either England or Australia because of my accent. (I haven't lived in England in years) How do I utilize this to my advantage? I don't want to be solely labelled as a foreigner or come off as pretenious

Before you try approaching women look like you're simply have a good time and then girls should start coming to you. Perhaps an exaggeration, but focus on having a good time first.

If she hooked up with you she probably isn't looking for anything else.

I don't have a large social group in college. I will have to wait until spring to join a fraternity. Until then is it all right for me to approach women or should I avoid this? The most success I've had is talking to women who are by themselves.

Thanks already got one bid looking for one more at least. I go to a commuter school with about 33k+ students fraternities and sports team are the only groups to throw parties.

I was planning on simply calling this person to go out, but instead when I saw her in person I asked her.

Keep mind I'm not in a fraternity right now. (Incoming freshmen) It depends where you go to school. If you go to a big Southern school it will be harder to get into a respectable frat. The point of a fraternity is to have a brotherhood. When they give you a bid the fraternity is essentially saying they want you as a brother for the rest of your life. You can be not very social overall, but if you don't talk to the fraternity brothers at least then it will very hard to get a bid. If you get into …

Thanks. I think I got this covered as I'm trying to join a fraternity. But I will definitely try to expand my social circle by talking to everyone I can.

If I got this girl number far back as July 16th but I've been texting her at once a week at least 2 hours every time would she remember who I am or should I move on? I talked to her one day at college orientation for about 30 minutes at most. Our college move in day in August 22nd.

If the first thing people notice about me is my English accent should I continue to talk about it? I'm Hispanic and live near Washington D.C I'm curious if typically people would be more confused or fascinated.

Appear to be happy and genuinely interested in people. If you have a positive outlook people will want to talk to you.

I graduated high school about a month ago and am currently part of a summer program taking classes at my university. College is the one of the easiest places to find woman. It is probably one of the best places too. You have an instant connection as you attend the same university. Literally you could probably a form an instant friendship with a person every day. However if attend a small university or community college it will definitely be harder. (I'm attending a university with 33k+ students …

If a woman tries to talk about one of these subjects (WE RAPE) should I try to change the subject or continue?

Definitely. I'm trying to have a different approach to college. I thought no one would want to talk to me because you know I'm the guy who just barely finished high school. But everyone was so friendly they said it was great I was looking into a brotherhood this early. I talked to the brothers and they were all great people. The main reason I didn't achieve anything serious with the woman was because I said they're 20 years old and you(me) just got of high school. Next time things will be differ…

I graduated high school on Thursday. Talked to people to university I'm going to about Greek life and he was kind enough to invite me a fraternity party. Didn't achieve anything, but I talked to every girl I saw. This isn't much progress for anyone here, but it's a large step for me. Talked to a few girls for considerable time about school and what they are majoring attempting to establish a subject to converse about. Meet foreign girls and talk to few people in different language (very basic It…

Sorry this is way to long for me to read. If you're 18 I hope it is safe to assume your starting university or community college at least. If that's the case then talk to everyone man. First year of college everyone is open to meeting new people. Ask people for information in case you miss class. Ask people if they want to go out for coffee. Open yourself to everyone. You may not think anyone is interested in becoming friends, but once you talk to them they'll be more inclined to like you .
