My bad. I read your previous comment as sarcastic. Now I've gone all philosophical and ruined the joke.

Thanks for bringing this up. It's a great example. If you were an expert in linguistics and I as only an aficionado still believed that you still needed to hear my unsolicited explanation on the distinctions in terms, then that would be me engaged in mansplaning. With your usuage of "patronizing", I concluded that you are not a linguistics expert and thought my contribution would be constructive to the conversation. Now we come to a fork in the road. If we are in an open, honest, and good faith …

Are you saying that both terms are bad but the one that hurts your feelings is worse?

Etymologicaly, patronizing is equally as gendered as mansplaning. Language is funny like that.

I'm curious why for working class, you focused on jobs in customer service, hospitality, and restaurants service. Why not include jobs like machinist, grounds keeper, and sales?

Education was dominated by men until the mid 19th century when schools realized how much money they could save by hiring women and paying them less.

I think in this situation the communication did a lot of good. It communicated that she is not communicable and like I said before, you should reconsider marrying this person. Don't marry someone that you can't communicate with!

It's always a good idea to have clearly laid out expectations. Communication is key. That includes a prenuptial agreement. If you trust someone enough to marry, then trust them enough to have an open and honest conversation about what should happen in a divorce. Then the courts dont matter because you figured it out already. If the two of you can't then you should reconsider marriage.

My wife makes more than me and pays about 60% of household expenses and we have an awesome marriage with no nickel and diming and give one another unconditional love and support.

Take away gender and all that your left with is the candidate with best resume. I specify resume and not qualifications. Because fun fact, men are significantly more likely to lie or exaggerate on a resume.

Most of the men I know were circumcised as baby's for religious reasons and never have I heard one complain about having been mutilated. Never heard anyone on the TV, radio, town square. Nothing. You want the government of Finland to outlaw something that nobody even cares about?

They're not allowed to sit in. It's literaly illegal. Check HIPA. Seeing the billings is the next best thing Fun fact. Historically, male doctors misdiagnose patients 2% more often than female.

You can't compare circumcision to labiaplasty. One is snipping off some extra skin which will have no negative repercussions later in life. The other is gouging out a piece of skin that will make sex unpleasant at best. I've never met a circumcised man who's sex life was effected by the procedure and while I don't know anyone personally with labiaplasty, everyone that I've heard with it speak on the subject says that sex is unbearably painful. And you're blaming the wives? Not the elders? Not th…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
