My mother gave me advice on women all her life. Two kinds, in fact. Advice with her words and advice with her actions. I listened to the advice in her words and it was disastrous. I look back on what her actions told me, and it was spot on.

Tomboys. I seem to do well with tomboys. Particularly tomboys that like older men. I have no idea why.

What is wrong with British women? I only know what I see on YouTube and Reddit, but they seem horrible. Drunk, vulgar, and as self-righteous as the worst church lady here in the States.

Join the army. I'm not promising that it'll be great, but it will be something that you grow from. As far as the eczema, try restricting your diet. Food intolerances can go undiagnosed for decades. For me the big offenders are dairy (gas and it makes the skin on my face start getting gross) and a lot of foods that are latex cross-reactive. If I clean up my diet and avoid those things, my skin gets better, my lower back pain goes away, and I have more energy.

That’s fucked up. Domestic violence isn’t a joke. It’s living in terror. By all means, call out women for their abundantly shitty, narcissistic behavior. But hitting them (or joking about it) is vile.

People have forgotten (or never knew) how much has changed and how quickly. Immigration, pornography, our moral compass being reoriented from Christianity to LGBTQ, the isolating of children from their fathers, the loss of skills and productive work- all of it has transformed the USA into an almost unrecognizble country in the last three or four decades.

He is a great actor. If you run out of good stuff and want to see something extraordinarily bad from his early days, watch The Terror (1963). He stars with Boris Karloff. It really is awful, but it's interesting to see him as a young man.

Props to the judge for that, but it's nothing compared to all the good men out there who lose their children on the assumption that mothers are better or more necessary parents.

My ex-wife genuinely believed that mothers should have the right to kill their children at any time. She was living proof that an IQ of probably 130+ was no guarantee of decency or good sense.

Somewhat OT, but my son spent a week in the NICU after his birth due to fluid in one of his lungs. There was nothing wrong with him, but (as I understood it) the birth was quick, so all the fluid wasn’t squeezed out of him. In another time or place, I suppose it could have turned into pneumonia and he’d have died. Anyway, he was a giant compared to most of the children in the NICU and he cried, which disrupted the quiet of the place. So first the (white) nurse insulted him for having “wimpy whit…

I visited Belfast three years ago. Physically, it looked like Pittsburgh, but was populated by men dressed like New Yorkers, women dressed like Walmart shoppers, and had a vibe like rural east Texas mixed with Philadelphia. It was disorienting.

Whether this works or not, I think it’s worth giving it a try. And if nothing else making sure that we exercise our jars with plenty of food that has to be chewed. For those of us who are fathers, we should also be doing what we can to follow the principles here to help promote our children’s dental health. I’ll also add that I’ve always been attracted to women that have slightly crooked teeth. And I wonder if that’s because they had normal enough mouth’s that they didn’t need dentistry. So they…

Don’t blame women for this. Everybody plays their part, but these girls are just taking advantage of fools. This is why we need strong fraternal organizations and social accountability among men- so the head of your lodge or church (or whatever) can take you aside and say, “Get your priorities sorted out, son.”

I'm a middle aged man. I'm nothing amazing, But I frequently get that sad, lonely look from these women. Especially when I'm out walking my dog. I just look away and think, "No, go back to the (latest) father of your children."

I just came back from my second visit to the Philippines. My father has been going since the 90s and retired there two years ago on a long term resident visa. My father likes to indulge a particular fantasy about the young women he meets in the sliver of Angeles that he lives in- they are only dancing in the bars because they got pregnant through no fault of their own and their evil Pinoy boyfriends/husbands force the girls to dance so the men can do nothing but drink and gamble. But I quickly g…

No, it probably is his child, but this is how heartless a woman can be. Armed with no-fault divorce and a couple of justifications they borrowed from Hollywood and Pinterest, they will destroy a family and call it being strong.

When I was a kid back in the early 80s, the case of David Reimer was the subject of a documentary on PBS and was used to justify the idea that gender is not innate at birth. Now leftoids use it to justify trans-whatever. His case was tragic and they eat it up for their own sick ends. http://articles.latimes.com/2004/may/13/local/me-reimer13

No. That would be my father- married six times, plus who knows how many Filipinas (who ditch him once he gets them set up with a sari-sari store or something)? Or the guy across the alley, who’s put two families of step-children through school. And the youngest son of my mother’s best friend who is doing the same thing. Or my former father-in-law, who dropped out of a PhD program in medical physics(?) to take on the burden of my ex-wife, her sister, and her non-mobile, non-verbal brother. Fuck t…

If the patriarchy were restored, I’d prefer to be a family man. I thought my wife was my wife forever and despite all the problems in our marriage (many of which were mine) I was happy with that. But now I’m a divorced 49 year old man with 2 young children and an ageing mother. I already have loved ones to take care and I don’t need some lonely, post-wall beach ball with legs trying to colonize my life. But I always wanted a family.

I'm going through a divorce. Two little kids. She's gone back to an old boyfriend already. I was thinking about posting about my situation (and maybe I will about very particular places where I'd like input), but this is the answer to me too. I'm not the man she married. And the man she married needed a lot of work anyway.

She apologized later because he is black and she was being criticized for her comments. If it had a been a young, white athlete, only we would have noticed.

Germany needs it. I used to have in-laws living in Kehl who I was lucky enough to visit on two occasions. I loved the country, but the Germans I spoke to seemed to hate themselves and their country. I met one guy who wasn't like that, but was extremely tight-lipped about his politics. I wish I'd been able to talk to him more

I'm a housedad. Not very red pill, I know. I'll post about it later. Anyway, there are plenty of times that both of my arms have been full of children and/or stuff. Many of those times, it would have been nice if someone would have held the door for me. In four years, only one woman has ever held the door for me and she was an employee at Chik-fil-a. As a whole, women appear to be oblivious to me. By contrast, other men (even the most delinquent looking teenager boys) consistently notice and hol…

Yes, set the example. It is the first principle of leadership (I hope, because I am in a similar situation to OP) and the best way to show your son what manhood should be. Not Hollyweird, not words, a father who walks the walk.

Yes, it was pretty awful, but it also saved my life. There's more to the story than I'm willing to tell right now, but the end finally came when I unexpectedly began to have an allergic reaction to crab one night at dinner. My eyes began to swell shut. She had papers to grade and so she wouldn't drive me to the ER. I drove myself, at night, with my weird, swolen vision. Within a couple of weeks, she began to want to have a child. When I didn't enthusiastically agree she came up with a scheme to …

She was very smart (she now has a PhD in Math) and very good at making night seem like day, up seem like down. If reason didn't work, she'd threaten and insult me. If that didn't work, she'd go into "helpless little girl" mode. It was miserable and I was a fool to put up with it.

It's been since 2006/2007, so I don't have perfect recollection of the conversation, but in K.'s case it was something like that. "I made them, so they belong to me." Not that she had children and she didn't really want any until it was clear that I was going to leave her.
