In case you are serious, many countries don't have dedicated dating apps, so tinder is fills all of their functionalities. And it becomes a friend, date, drinking AND hookup app

She said this in response to senator saying men work longer hours than women. She said somebody, but in the context she clearly ment men.

Well that's exactly the problem. Small local jobs like babysitting, mowing lawns or stereotypical selling lemonade aren't usually reported and taxed. For good reason as it would be ridiculous, but we don't really get stats for non-taxed incomes. We can guess, but then it's just an approximation and not real science. Especially in proving such small margins like 3%. What makes it even harder is a small sample - compared to whole population, people under 18 really make a very small percentage of w…

I actually did research on that, and have a fun fact. When you take into account matching industry, experience, position, there is a 3% pay gap that really does exist. However it has a very simple explanation. People on average work 35 years in their lives. When you take demographic data, average woman has one child, so she takes (again, on average) a one year break. One year without earining in 35 years of career is 1/35, so almost exactly 3%. Boom.

She had to get aggressive, because she felt threatened, as she knew her agenda is getting destroyed. Funny thing is, her argument applies to everyone, so women as well. Senator could easily say - well yes, it applies to both genders, so it's just a proportional factor that doesn't affect the answer, right? She would have to agree, or say that men are lazier lol

It's a round number. 6 feet is 183cm. In countries using metric system the magic number is 180cm. Which is nice and round, but a little bit less than 5'11". So only because of the numbers you have 3cm higher "standard" to match

Some people don't have mental issues, aren't from poor familes, don't use drugs and still commit crimes. You need to undestand that people are not naturally good, some are just evil from their core and there is no helping them.

This is the thing I don't get about USA. At the same time, society is still very much puritan because of history, but also tries to be as "progressive" as possible without really understanding why and how to do it

What pisses me off the most is those dumbfucks can't see that it's literally the definition of sexism. Then when called out they say shit like oh we can because it's positive discrimination or other nonsense

What a sad criminal third world country you must live in, if you need to count convicts as a visible group of voters.

Which is another proof of the way most of the women think. They don't like taking risks, and do things the same way for years without questioning or trying to optimise it.

Yeah one thing is having a preference, and then another thing is berating someone and saying they are not a man, only because they doesn't fit your preference

Show me ONE TIME an internet petition changed anything. It makes people feel good about themselves and creates an illusion that they are doing something, but in reality the impact is close to zero.

Not sure how is it in America, but I know in France some people got actual jail sentences for that, something along lines of "significant violation of public health". Of course they usually got probation and a big fine, but the offense was taken seriously nonetheless

/u/Malconeous How do you report those bitches? I cannot see any report button on the profile, and support page's advice "To report an individual post, click on the three dots in the top right of the post and select "Report". " doesnt work, as there is no such option, only copy link and add to lists I even created an account just to report this slut, but didn't help. Can you describe your steps?

Yeah that's what I noticed too, it's a rare change for good in society. People have such a multitude of options with facebook, tinder etc, that if you show no interest, why would I waste my time on you? To get frustrated, called a creep or worse? Thankfully that kind of girl seems to be dying, they get so rare that we make memes out of them if we meet one

Sorry to break it to you, but it's a reference to a movie Zoolander from 2001. This scene is famous because it was improvised by Ben Stiller who kept forgetting the lines, and here instead of saying the correct text he just repeated "but why male models?" and they left it as it is. Then it started to be a meme. "Stiller asks David Duchovny's character why male models become assasins. Duchovny comes back with a long-winded elaborate explanation which should put the matter to bed. However Stiller …

Philosophy might not be a "hard science" like physics or math, but it's based firmly based on logic and tries to quantify our senses and existence. It has nothing to do with basing your worldview on factless opinions and impulsive feelings, which is what gender studies try to teach you

Funny thing, there was a big program in my city around 2-3 years ago that had some special privileges for girls to encourage them to go to do STEM at the city university. Something like bonus points in the recruiting process. Many non-scientific people from media etc. supported this and said "Yeah, good for them, equality!" Then, the Math Department itself sent an official statement which basically said - Well, thank you for your help, but this is humiliating for all the girls, especially the sm…

It's not fair to judge people by their face, we all know that... But sometimes you really fucking know that a person is a scumbag just by looking at their face. My grandma used to say: you shouldn't judge by the looks, but also your look is a reflection of yourself, and you have to earn it

Yeah people just love the extremes, don't they. If I say for example (no hate) "asian people love to steal" I would immediately hear "my asian friend is a great human being and won a Nobel prize" Guess what, I don't mean every single asian person steals, and I don't even mean the majority. The opposite, that it's a stereotype so it must be a myth and no asian person steals is ridiculous too. Usually by that I mean "I believe the percentage of thiefs is considerably higher in said population and …
