Dorian got amazing results training a muscle ones per week but that does not mean it's optimal and the best way to go at it.

A meal every 3-4 hours with 20-40 grams of protein each and more carbs and less fats the closer it is to training while the opposite when it far is the way to go. you'll be in a more Anabolic state throughout the day with frequent meals rather than just one so I wouldn't suggest doing what you're doing.

Protein powder is simple complete protein. What it simply does is make it convenient, cheap and easy to get protein in. Protein has amino acids and they are the building blocks for muscles. you should aim for 0.7-1.3 X Bw in Lbs (ex: 0.7 x 180lbs= 126g) of daily protein intake. the less caloric restricted you are, the higher the protein. I'd suggest multiplying by 0.7 when bulking and 1 when cutting while 0.8-9 when in a recomp. Ps: Don't listen to anyone saying to take more than 1.3x body weigh…
