Psychologist here. Listen to other comments. Definitely seek help. Psychotherapy + meds is the best combo. Meds help with physical causes and therapy teaches you how to deal with it and fix the cause of depression. You can also try some additional therapies, like meditation. It is really helpful. Acupuncture is also a great supplement to psychotherapy +meds. Let go of the thought that this is Blue Pill weakness. You cannot beat depression by not talking to anyone about your feelings and going to…

It's not about women not being worth it. It's their work culture. Japanese are so obsessed with work, working over 15h a day. They don't have time for romance. Actually, they are fine with it. Source: worked with little motherfuckers for 18 months

As soon as I read OP, I knew it was some misinterpretation of a completely different story so it fits TRP framework.

This. I see so much hate here of horrible things women do, but total approval of horrible things men do.

Hey man, I can somewhat relate to what you're saying. I have epilepsy and it caused me to tear up, be weak, struggle to figure out social cues, etc. When talking to people about it, no one wants to listen to it. Everyone wants to have fun and not think about their own problems. When it comes to accepting, it's recommend mediation or psychotherapy. You have to find a way to accept that your siblings are disabled and move on.

I came here looking for this. His podcast sounds really good. If you have any other recommendations, please do let me know.

If you want to deal with just oneitis, I'm sure some of these guys will help. As a professional (psychologist and counselor), if you want to deal with the root cause, I say seek therapy or meditate. I prefer the latter one.

Metta meditation, aka loving - kindness meditation. Doing that over the course of months will help you develop love for yourself and for others. You can check out books by Sharon Salzberg. She has a really difficult life and this has transformed her.

Where did you learn how to meditate? This is great intro post, but for people who are a bit more advanced, I recommend The Mind Illuminated by Culadasa. It is grear for Western people

I think that is a great idea. Also, you could work with your past in LD. Solve those issues that are cause of ED. See your father who represents your problems and integrate him in your personality. A lot of people has reported hugging bad characters in dreams help them solve problems that those characters are representing

Very nice post. I am transactional counselor, so I am very familiar with this theory. I have enjoyed reading about connection between TA and TRP. I think it would be nice to add basics about positive and negative states, but I guess it would be too much theory. It is awesome that you have put the link for people who want to learn more. It would be very useful to explain Games as well, Rope game mostly.

I know, it is a full time job to do it :-/ I wish there is an easier way except using Calibre and Sigil to edit the document.

I don't understand, what is the difference between concentration and insight practices? Sounds like the breath is focus of both of them, and to me, it seems that you are doing the same thing in both practices. I understand you can achieve jhana during concentration practice, but couldn't you do the same during the insight? Can you explain the difference in more detail, please?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
