Wow, lot of comments dogpiling here. READ THIS: 1) The mods here are not "anti-pickup". We're here for the love of the game, and to make sure knowledge gets spread in a healthy and safe way. 2) A lot of comments here complain that mods allow tons of posts that are against the rules while removing posts that have good information. This is pretty obviously not accurate. I don't think most of you realize just how many posts and comments come through this sub every day. It's a lot. When I open reddi…

Well, when they brought me onto the mod team, that's one of the things I wanted to help with and I've been trying to remove it where I can. FYI, someone reported your comment for not being civil, lol. Fair point, considering you called us "incel cunts".

I'm gonna go ahead and sort of ... disagree with you there. Some incel posted in here once that he was going to do a school shooting. I reported it immediately and others did as well. The FBI called me directly to ask about it. I don't know if they reached out to actual reddit employees or what, but even after that call i could see the post if I went and looked for it (I removed it, so non-mods wouldn't see it). But yeah, I really don't think there's an automated removal of posts happening to st…

Yeah, so, to your points: I'm not anti pickup. I help guys irl learn things about it all the time from my unique experience over the years. If someone posts "men are brutes...", report it. I'll remove it. If someone breaks rule #1, REPORT IT. This sub gets way more posts in a day than you probably realize, but very few of the posts or the comments on them which break rules get reports. Reports literally put a notification on my phone, even if I'm not in reddit. I can't speak for other mods but i…

You have to report posts or comments like that. This is a pretty large sub. Even if all the mods were scrolling it every day we wouldn't see all the posts or comments. Please report anything that breaks rules and we get a notification about it.
/r/seduction29/06/26 06:35 PM

I'd love to see an example of this instead of hearsay. Every post that I remove has a message sent directly to the poster telling them why it was removed.

/r/seduction29/06/26 06:24 PM

There are LOTS of posts every single day and we can't possibly see them all just by scrolling the sub for hours. And honestly, who even has time to do that. If you see posts that are off topic, report them. That's how we see most posts that need to be removed. We check all the reports. Try to help us out instead of just complaining about it in a post reply

They very rarely fuck customers at all. Same as other girls who are hired for their looks like bartenders, etc. It's a whole different challenge in pick up vs random girls out in town like at the grocery store or something. The guys the do fuck usually have pretty solid game or they are just very physically attractive (one of the few places this truly matters). Most of them have boyfriends they met somewhere else who are overly jealous and hate their job. Some have husbands. The smarter ones won…

OP, start by going to a chill place. Acknowledge your fear. Put it aside as you're not going there the first couple times to talk to women. You're just going to ease into being comfortable going out alone. Go in, have a drink, be friendly if people talk to you. Maybe watch a game or something. Get home safe. Now go back to THE SAME PLACE. Do this every weekend. You'll get comfortable doing this much faster than going to different places. The bartenders or waitstaff will start to recognize you, a…

JFC these answers are terrible so far. OP, warm approach is having a plan of things to say and where to steer the conversation based on possible replies that you think of ahead of time, before you start approach. Learn about neutral openers. You never want to appear as if you're talking to them specifically to get a number or ask them out. It's much less threatening, and generally, you'll get a warmer response. Based on the opener you plan to go with, try to think of common responses to it, and …

Nobody is saying cold approach doesn't work. Seduction and game exists precisely to get around those "beauty standards" you mentioned. Many girls will still give guys a shot if you've got the right personality. But you aren't giving your personality a shot in a cold approach. You're giving them 10 seconds to look you up and down and make a judgemental call. Cold approach simply isn't seduction at all. It's just shooting random shots and playing a numbers game. Good luck.

You can watch porn and slap your dick around until it can't stand up anymore and still approach women and get dates. Take that shit somewhere else.

I don't think there's a type for that. You can talk about your interests and see if there's something y'all share. If she's into a topic that you're also into, ask her stuff and turn the talking over to her. Then you won't be bored. There's no shortcut to turning dates into sex if you're only interested in sex. Girls don't care if you're a 9, and they know for a scientific fact you're amazing in bed. They don't think about sex the way we do. They are generally more interested in also being attra…

I am analyzing every bit of her behavior But you aren't paying attention. You aren't noticing her subtle facial expressions or body language when you say something that bothers her. Otherwise, you wouldn't be so confused as to what is turning women off. I look at dates like job interviews. It's not the worst mindset to have, but it is a completely different way to behave. If you are trying to sell yourself the way you would in a job interview, this is DEFINITELY your biggest problem. If you do t…

If you're on a date with a girl and she seems nervous, you aren't interacting with her in a way that makes her comfortable or makes her feel safe. You are probably saying things that make them think twice about what they saw in you. If you are talking way more than she is, you probably come off as completely full of yourself, and most girls do not like that. There is some REALLY solid advice in some of these other comments, but you don't appear open to the idea that you are absolutely doing some…

It's hard to put into words without demonstrating in person. It's pretty easy to figure it out with a little practice. It's actually hard to do it too much in the beginning because it goes soooo against your regular nature. You will constantly notice that you have to correct yourself because human nature tells you to be more open and direct with body language. You'll notice every few minutes that you have to manually correct yourself. After a while, it just becomes a habit, and it'll come natura…

I'm 6'4 and decent looking with a great sense of humor, but I never had self-confidence about my looks, and I was super shy. So I got laid through my 20s here and there and had girlfriends, but I missed sooooo many chances that were right in front of me. The strip club helped me realize my actual potential, and the girls were very honest with me, which helped to figure out where I stand amongst other guys, as well as learn how to talk to lots of different types of girls. After a while, I grew to…

Haha, I thought about that. I think if I stayed in the industry, I would probably do a YouTube channel about it. The #1 technique that yields the best results is learning to use body language to convey disinterest. The way you always see guys in this sub talking about making a girl think you're not really into them because otherwise you look desperate and it is a turn-off. Yeah, do that with body language. It is unbelievably effective.

All these comments are decent answers, but the BEST answer is to be a bouncer or manager in a strip club. I did that for about 4 years in 3 different clubs, and it changed my life. Or be a male stripper. All you gotta do is get jacked and go apply. Even the waiters in a male strip club do well. Still gotta be jacked though

I've read the game but I haven't really seen a full infield of mystery/style applying everything in action. There are videos of mystery but they're mostly clips. And also those mfs were legends. Everyone these days is too lazy to learn this stuff so they're all obsessed with "cold approach" and being super direct. It's cool that you're learning more skills. I think you'll see a lot of positive results from it. Best of luck!

This is key. I wear a more obscure one that most people don't know about, and when people ask me what it is I don't tell them. Only ever had one girl recognize it because it was her favorite, and I've been wearing it like 10+ years

Between learning game and just doing cold approaches
/r/seduction24/07/22 09:38 PM

Then why call it cold approach? What's the difference then?
/r/seduction24/07/22 09:20 PM

You make good points but where I disagree is where people draw the line between cold approach and "game". IMO cold approach is simply going up, very quickly asking for a date or phone number, and then leaving. Anything beyond that and you've crossed into game territory. If you need to know how to carry a conversation - game. If you need to know how to flirt - game. If you're using your body language in a subtle way to non-verbally communicate - game. In that sense I don't think cold approach sho…

Cold approach, IMO, is just walking up to someone, greeting them, maybe introducing yourself, asking for a date or phone number, and then leaving. Sometimes the situation calls for more interaction before getting the number which is where a lot of the posts in this sub ask for help. My point is that this method is not really a method at all. It's just walking up, saying hello and asking for a number or date. What's game about that? It's just basic interaction. Game is about being prepared. Knowi…

All game is a numbers thing but you'll notice that you get way better results with actual game instead of cold approach.
/r/seduction24/07/22 08:41 PM

As soon as you learn game, you're not doing cold approach. You're doing game. Cold approach is just unprepared approaching women. Anything beyond that is just game and should not be called "cold approach".

I was never confident until I started doing Jiu Jitsu. Learn how to fight. It works wonders. Hell, it's practically the basis of the plot in Fight Club. The dude was a little bitch until he learned how to fight. (Do not learn to fight and then go get in fights. Nobody wants anything to do with those guys. Learn it so you are confident you can defend yourself and keep it in your back pocket.)

It's the new hotness. People get bored of stuff that's perceived as "old" even if it gets reliable results. Cold approach is for people who are lazy. People who can't put in the effort to learn game or practice the elements within to achieve better results. People want a faster way to the end result, but there is no substitution for hard work. As soon as you switch from learning game to doing cold approaches, you're just back to square 1 which is walking up to people and saying hey. That's why y…

Austin, you big dummy. LA, Miami, and NYC are not "tech hubs" IMO. Besides, Austin has a big college right downtown. The nightlife scene there is fantastic. Texas girls are crazy hot, and there's lots to see and do. We had regulars that would come in all the time. Several of them were able to fuck more than one girl. And I mean outside the club and for free. Some of the girls fully dated customers. It's a thing.

And try not to be mad at her for that, this is how it goes with unofficial exclusivity lol. If you wanna keep fucking you're gonna have to go along with whatever. If you ask her if she fucked someone else and she admits she has are you gonna cut her out of your life? Are you gonna be mad about it and try to get her to commit? Picture…

About 3.5 years. My take on your situation is that if you didn't fully commit you don't get to complain if she steps outside the agreement. If she fucked another dude it's because in her mind she's technically single so what's the point in keeping up the agreement if it just keeps her from living her life how she wants? If you expect exclusivity you gotta commit. There's a lot of guys in this sub that post about not wanting relationships but they get mad jealous when a girl they're smashing even…

I will give you some feedback though. You don't get to be exclusive if you refuse to put a title on it. You're either together or you're not. The only difference between her being your gf and not your gf is exclusivity. As soon as you verbally agree to not have sex with anyone else, that's now your gf. If you're scared of the title then she's going to leave you for someone who isn't. She probably won't respect the exclusivity agreement because you aren't officially dating. I've been in the exact…

These posts are a bit much. Any city with a decent sized population is fine. There's not a better city in comparison to other cities when considering any random guy. For a kiwi, yeah it might be the best. I normally recommend that if people are going to travel they should try somewhere where they are not the majority race or height, etc. If you can really stand out from the norm (like a Hispanic person going to Germany, or a tall white guy in Korea) then you'll usually do way above average. But having known a couple kiwi guys, your accent alone is going to kill it over here. Just be in decent shape and not broke.

I think it was in Mystery's ridiculous TV show... they call girls who were hired for their looks in places like bars and restaurants and strip clubs "hired guns". If night game is tougher, I recommend thinking of places where you have less competition. Bars and night clubs are jam packed with dudes you have to compete with. Go to places that are more populated by women than straight men. If you have game that works with hired guns, go to a strip club. This sounds counterintuitive, but like 98% of guys in strip clubs aren't competition for decent looking guys with game (I used to be a bouncer in one, trust me). If it doesn't work out they don't want to see you at the gym going forward. I think you'll find it easier to include the guys in a group in your conversations and interactions because you aren't trying to number close them. There's much less anxiety when you're being social with people you're not interested in. You can apply the same mindset to girls in a group where you're only interested in one. You should always include a girl's friends in social interaction or they usually won't like you.
/r/seduction26/06/22 06:14 PM
4

Good effort, OP. You went out and were social. A lot of people struggle just that when they are starting out. As for the guys in the group I highly recommend interacting with them and including them in conversation. If one or two in particular are being really douchey towards you, you have to kill them with kindness. Women will notice that you're not antagonizing the guys back and you're keeping the tension down in the group. Read up a little on dealing with the AMOG, you'll see what I mean.

There's not really an equivalent because women don't have to use psychology or other things to their favor. They can just walk up to guys and be like "sup", and then they chat and see where it goes. Very few guys are going to reject women the way women reject guys. But women are welcome to post in this sub. You're frequently going to get advice like "be direct". Or "be straightforward". And it's good advice. It's refreshing because many women aren't.

If you're going to be in a dancing environment I highly recommend you learn how to dance. Also, consider this: a club is where you will have the absolute highest amount of competition. Maybe practice in social scenes that have slightly less competition first, and then bring your A game to the club.

As with pretty much all the other advice in this subreddit, you can't apply anything to all women. Or even most women. All women are different. I've personally known women who literally told me they find guys crying or generally expressing emotions a huge turnoff. 2 women here are saying the opposite. I rest my case.

I had my gf with me at the time. But I can't imagine it's that difficult. People on vacation are usually way more open and relaxed. They want to get rid of the normal restrictions they put on themselves back home and just enjoy themselves. Plus there are tons of really cool places to go and stuff to do, so nightlife is great and there's a lot of opportunities for unique dates. I think the word you're looking for is 'misogyny'. If you think a girl have sexual experience makes her "dirty", it is because old, religious people told you to think this way. It is not logical. A woman can have just as much sex as a man and she is still the same woman. Ask yourself, why is she different after sex? She is still the same person, but now she knows how to be better at sex. Are you saying you only want to be with virgins? How boring would that be? Sex is so much better when a woman…

Dress to stand out from the average of whatever club you're at. If it's a club where people wear street clothes and everyone has fresh Js, wear a suit. Decent suit stores will often have 2 for one or sometimes 3 for 1 deals, with slight up-charges for custom tailoring to fit you perfect. If you're unfamiliar with how to wear suits (different styles can vary and there's even certain etiquette for when to button certain buttons, etc), the people who work at the suit store can explain it easily. It's a good start for sure. Where you could improve is don't be so quick to explain the meanings. Make them "earn" it. When they ask which they are, try something that leads them along like "well I guess we'll find out soon enough". It's okay for a girl to think that you think she isn't cute. This isn't usually something that will make her suddenly less attracted to you. Later when she circles back around to the question, you can tell her you think she's hot or sexy or adorable. Some other word …

Play pool (billiards). There's about a million innuendos you can use with "balls" and "sticks". You can get a decent feel for where she's at in a sexual mindset and if you should pursue it further or stop. Gay bars. Surplus of hot straight women, but few straight guys. Less of a guard because they'll assume you're not straight. You only blow it if you outright flirt or use a shitty pickup line. If you open with something funny or neutral, it's like getting a head start in regular bars.

Nah man. What you're referring to is what's commonly known these days as "fragile male ego". If you can't talk to your partner because she'll "lose respect for you" then you've got the wrong partner. The real key to openers, regardless of if they are planned or natural in-the-moment, is that they need to be neutral. You don't want a woman to think "great, another guy hitting on me" from the instant you start talking or you're already fighting an uphill battle. Say something hilarious if the situation presents itself. Say or ask something interesting that starts a real conversation or playful debate (a serious debate might also get you an uphill battle).

If you quit drinking to correct an addiction and you do not go to bars because temptation is an issue then good on you for quitting and keep up the good work. But if you're not worried about being able to say no, you don't have to drink just because other people are around you. You can order a coke or water or club soda (or hell, you live in England so maybe tea? lol). Any girl worth a shit is going to be respectful of the fact you don't drink and any who lose interest because you don't drink ar…

I was a bouncer in a strip club. A lot of strippers are basically the same as insta models. The majority of them would be easily attracted to a drug dealer. They are over confident with nice clothes and plenty of cash. It's also what makes them get caught, lol. Gonna be pretty hard for you to get laid by insta models when you're surrounded by dudes... in prison.

omg this so much. Lol you hit the nail on the head. Now combine that with the fact that before making a post, 99% of people don't read the side rules and wind up breaking them so we have to remove it. And we spend an insane amount of time removing simple posts. Then we don't have enough time to address the comments that are just downright terrible advice due to misogyny, etc...
/r/seduction04/02/22 10:50 AM

That's actually all the stuff I spend a great deal of effort removing from this sub. It's insane how much people actually preach it.

I mean... I care. Like 90% of my time on Reddit is removing posts from this sub that break the rules. You know what posts I don't see? People suggesting improvements. We don't ever get modmail about what could be done better, or more efficiently. We only get modmail calling us simps for banning someone that is spouting misogynistic bullshit.

There are filters on this sub. Maybe check or ask before just spouting incorrect information?

We do our best to curtail that, but it's a hard task considering it's impossible to force people to read the rules before posting.

You're missing the point. I mean he literally pays them. He pays models to hang out around him so he can post it on Instagram and shit. A billionaire like Jack Ma will always have women trying to be around him. He's a billionaire. The difference is that while Dan pays them for their presence, Jack pays them to leave.

It's because anyone capable of critical thinking can tell that he's actually not worth shit, he runs companies into the ground, he isn't a "big name", and he pays for all the women to be around him. As someone else stated, it's not news when he's shitty since it's just his default setting.

I highly recommend it strictly for the bits about body language alone. I've given a couple guys in here advice about how to specifically do body language in your approaches and at least one of them was absolutely floored by how well it works. My experience with it comes straight outta that book. Can't recommend enough. Check it out. There's a good amount of other details in there, and like the other reply says - it's a really good book to read because it's more storytelling than how-to.

I've removed your first Reddit post because it breaks rule #1 of this subreddit. Here's some solid advice for Reddit since you're new: always check a subreddit's rules before making a post. Sometimes there's a faq that might answer your question. Sometimes there's a rule that requires you to search the sub first to see if someone else has asked the same question, etc.

I often tell beginners that have social anxiety or extreme nervousness to do many approaches because it's the fastest way to fix that issue. And then once it becomes second nature, it's better to choose quality approaches.

Lol, sorry. Didnt mean to be rude but you'd be surprised how many times per day I have to remove posts that don't follow the first rule of the sub. It's a pretty clear rule, which means that everyone who breaks it simply isn't even reading the rules before posting. And to be fair if I was on my computer instead of phone I'd have used an auto response to remove your post that would have been more sincere. 😛

Teamwork. They should be helping to convey your value. They should not do or say anything that comes across as competing with you. It screws you both; it's not attractive. You should be on the same page with what's expected and what backup plans you have depending on the situation before you approach a set. Communicate with each other. Have a plan.

I'm confused. On one line you said "the pick up artist industry as a whole is a scam" ... and then on another line you said "I have never even tried game or dating". Neutral talking points that give no hints that you're attracted. She should think you're just saying or asking something in passing, and that you don't crave her attention at all. It should be something that she's mildly interested in engaging as well. This sort of thing works well with a wingman because you can use the old "maybe you can settle a debate we're having..." and then your 'debate' should be either thought provoking or hilarious to keep the conversation going, but for best results it…

You didn't. My reply was a warning to anyone who wants to reply with their bullshit stereotypes about strippers. I've known literally hundreds (high turnover rate), and the stereotypes are so inaccurate. The men who want to repeat them are often just hypocrites.
/r/seduction12/08/21 07:14 AM

In that case, here's what being a stripper says to me. A girl knows how to maximize her income and minimize her debts. A girl likes to make her own schedule. A girl knows she can make 6 figures a year right out of high school with zero training or degree. A girl is above average in confidence, enough to be naked in front of strangers. All in all, seems pretty smart to me. Every stereotype you hear people say turned out to be the minority in my experience. Far from the majority.

As a former bouncer in 3 strip clubs in 2 states over a few years... if I see one negative generalization about strippers, so help me Thor... I'm leaving the post up because I like the part where you challenge men to come to terms with what it means to them. Not all strippers are prostitutes. A small percentage might be, but you do NOT make judgements about a person without concrete evidence. A stripper (in America) sells a tease. That's all. If you aren't secure enough in yourself to date one, …

It truly is. Try what I suggested for the next 5 or 7 days. Set goals. You'll feel great accomplishing them. "Say hi to 10 girls in passing." Don't initiate a conversation, just say hi and KEEP WALKING. Bump it up to 20 the next time. 50 after that. It becomes second nature and you don't even have nerves for it anymore.
/r/seduction29/07/21 07:25 AM
16

Well you're in the right place. Check the sidebar. Look into the basics. Start building a foundation of good habits. Something like saying hello to any girls you see in public. Just smile, say hey, keep walking, don't look back. You'll be shocked out how this kills the anxiety of approach once you do this enough. It doesn't have to be hot girls either. Do this with girls you think are unattractive as well, and it'll start to get you in the same mindset of not caring about rejection when you talk…

Yeah they just say "a 2 set" or "a 3 set", but 1 girl is just a girl. It doesn't save any time to say a 1 set when you can just be like "I cold approached a girl"

You'd be totally right to think so. It's kinda weird. It comes from the original few famous "pick-up artists" or PUAs. Their books and seminars used a lot of acronyms and abbreviations for stuff so they would be talking in a lingo that most people can't follow. Kinda stupid though considering they were almost only using it in their own circles so it's not like other slang people use to conceal the topics of their conversation in a public setting. It's supposed to be more efficient but I think it…

That's wildly inaccurate for people who've been doing this for a long time. A set is a set of women. A group. It only has 1 meaning.
/r/seduction14/07/21 08:48 PM
4

A set is usually 2 or more women in a group. Opening a set is starting a conversation with said group. So to answer your question, "opening at least 3 sets" means the OP is initiating a conversation with at least 3 different groups of women (the set could also contain men that are not obviously with the women in a romantic capacity. There's entire chapters of books relating to how to neutralize the man in these groups if they are overly protective of the ladies).
/r/seduction14/07/21 02:43 PM
12

Because it's neutral. You're not obviously hitting on them. If the questions make them think and are fun, they aren't as guarded toward you. They see you as entertaining, which is a plus. Especially for guys who aren't built like Greek gods.
