I feel like as long as they’re appeased with a full food bowl at the appropriate times, ample hair ties to fetch, and a comfortable sunny corner office, it wouldn’t be too bad a regime.

Generally when I’ve dated Dylans, I’ve been looking for a couple of things. First, great, considerate, reciprocal sex. Someone who doesn’t think a vagina is gross, and is willing to take some time down there. Validation. A head over heels romance, with long nights gazing into each other’s eyes and talking about how wonderful each other are. Emotional vulnerability, someone to confess secrets with and feel completely accepted. Dylan is pretty damn good at filling those needs.

I’m pretty convinced most writers on it are men larping, if that makes you feel better

Nothing in the sidebar says I can’t come here and laugh at the people who’ve made shitty decisions in their lives. I saw no “No Girls Allowed” sign hanging on the door to the treehouse.

I know one, wanted a kid without the baggage and without having to share parenting decisions. She’s making 200k+, she can afford the childcare costs.

I’m not so sure about that- the one who got away could have been out of her league from the start. Just because she crushed on someone doesn’t mean she got him.

It’s true. There’s something that imprints on you from the early loves. I’m about to marry the first man I had a crush on, over a decade after he rejected me.

There are way easier ways to say it, if it’s true. Suggest something else. I had in my bio “Just looking for people to play chess with”. Played a lot of chess in parks with tinder dudes. Had a lot of great conversations, and zero sex. It’s not hard. If you just say “not on here for sex”, sex is now exactly what’s on their mind because they brought it up!

Sure, but those aren't the men who would be satisfied by a sex doll.
/r/MGTOW16/04/19 10:19 PM
13

That’s my thought. If a guy would be satisfied with a sex doll, I’d rather him use that than a girl. Men who are looking for love and relationships will dominate the market because the rest will have selected themselves out. And they won’t be as pushy up front, because they won’t be so thirsty. Sex dolls seem, like vibrators, to be an overall good thing.

We love escape rooms! You learn a lot about each other’s ability to cooperate and what they do in a tough situation- and it’s fun and brings you together when you achieve your goals. It’s the perfect date night.

Nope, not interested in her at all. But wanting her dead sounds like a massive overreaction.

Let me get this straight- you want a stranger dead because she posts pictures of herself that you don’t like and listed unrealistic standards on a dating website?

Princess Diana, who was a troublemaker and very disliked by the royal family, died suspiciously in a car crash after journaling that she was afraid people were sabotaging her car to kill her.

That doesn’t make a lot of sense to me- the x-carrying sperm are a bit heavier, so why would they be faster?

Wow. Yeah, we spent half that, which sounds like a nice beach vacation with flights and hotels. Also, I think the salary thing is ridiculous, since by the time you’re dealing with this, finances are already getting pretty intertwined.
/r/MGTOW11/03/19 05:39 AM

Now I can’t tell if I have a low view of what a ring typically costs or an inflated view of what a vacation costs because in my mind they’re about one to one.

Everyone finds a partner who does not have a life disgusting? Sounds like projection :(. Shit, if she exercised, was nice, made me food, kept a house, well she can have fortnite seshes everyday if she wants! If she exercised, is making you food, and is keeping a house, she's not the boring leech. One of my examples of a perfectly acceptable husband to a high-income wife would be a homemaker. Is there a whiff of "video games are for losers" projection in here Nope, I've spent a lot of this week o…

a bonus if she took care of the home and kids, with a home cooked meal when he got home from work, helped him relax unwind; That's not doing nothing, and was within the things I had included a few posts back about what someone could do that would earn respect without being an equal earner. who "put a ring on it". It's an expression. For what it's worth, I also put a nice engagement watch on it. Not that you'll care, because you've got your narrative. you deserve each other. Thanks! We really do.

Well then, it's a good thing I don't care about "most men" now, isn't it? Just the one that put a ring on it. Edit: You'll also note that I was mostly talking about what women want. The main thing I said about men's wants is that they don't want some no-life who sits at home and does nothing. I'm sorry, but if you sit on the couch playing Fortnite all day, you're not a good wife.

This continues to be incredibly silly. We've turned completely tautological- women are leeches because they're leeches. What you call female nature, I call bullshit. There are plenty of married working doctors with and without kids in all sorts of household arrangements. But you've got a pretty well-ingrained ideology, so I feel like this isn't ever going to go anywhere. Best of luck.

A couple of things. First, I’m not willing to go the “men are schmucks” route. The interesting, capable men are not willing to “do almost anything for pussy”. If that’s all they want, they can just go to prostitutes and skip the whole relationship thing. Second, we weren’t talking about the 40k/year woman here. I can see how someone in that situation might push her need for attraction aside for a better lifestyle. We were talking about doctors and similar earners. By the time you’re making that …

It sounds like you’re intentionally ignoring my point. I never said that women swoon for leeches who do nothing. I said that a partner’s income becomes irrelevant at a certain level of my earning. Every example I listed would make less than half of the doctor’s salary (if any) and would be completely fine, if not incredibly exciting, by the vast majority of high earning women I know. Several examples were actually taken from that pool. Additionally, I don’t know where you’re finding these ambiti…

It's not an issue of being "benevolent" and "taking in" someone who makes less. People click with all sorts of people. Just because she makes more doesn't make him a charity case, any more than a higher earning man would be taking in a waitress out of pity. The male doctor telling his friends "That is Tina, Tina is my wife and stay at home mom. She does Youtube videos and washes dishes. Tina has 200 subscribers to her Youtube channel, she is going to be a big star one day." would sound equally r…

Been doing it just fine, and my girlfriends couldn’t care less. And, I guess, my point was that I do keep up with the Joneses- which renders his salary irrelevant.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen06/12/18 05:31 PM

That’s silly. The ones you hear shrieking have those ridiculous expectations, but there are plenty of us that couldn’t care less about a partner’s salary- if I make enough to support my desired standard of living, why is his salary even relevant?

If men only marry their HELL YES’s, what’s with all the HL women engaged or married to LL men in /r/deadbedrooms?

At that point, shouldn’t she be cooking less?
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen15/11/18 04:01 PM

Sure, then we’re in agreement. I’m generally against things like alimony. But the poster I was responding to was against things like no-fault divorce entirely, and I was pointing out that that is only helpful to keep a woman there physically, but not emotionally.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen14/11/18 04:49 AM

Whether or not she’d benefit financially isn’t affecting those tingles. Ending the ability for her to divorce you doesn’t ensure that she stays attracted to you- your wallet will be fine, but you’ll be in /r/deadbedrooms before you know it.

That’s the case no matter what- if you wait around for people to come up to you, they’re going to be lower quality than the ones you actively pick.

Watch crappy teen movies and eat snack foods for dinner, while making a huge mess with a Pinterest craft. We still do that, even living together and being engaged!
