Such a misandrist way of looking at sex and at men. No. Well not all men, but I think for most men (or atleast a lot of men) the validation they would get from casual sex trumps whatever shit they get in a relationship. A woman wants you so much she's willing to fuck you despite being a relative stranger. Thats validating. You get to be the AF in the AFBB, thats validating.

The NyPost article literally quotes a study. Hardly cherry picking. Also p sure a big part of the red pill IS self improvement. Sure. Go look at the statistics. Educate yourself on the depressing shithole that modern dating is. Maybe throw in some biology to justify that position a little more, entrench your beliefs a little further. Because it’s all true. It’s all fucking true. Humanity is a shitfest and the reason why the redpill is so effective is because for a lot of people it’s TRUE. It spe…

The point is that you (and no woman for that matter) would have given enthusiastic consent to sleep with a man they were not attracted to. And so for men, women wanting to sleep with them is inherently validating.

You would still need a normative view that describes what you approve or disapprove of. It doesn't negate any normative views on right and wrong. The point is that there can be no normative view because right and wrong are utterly subjective, situational, and dependent on both context and observer. I'll explain this simply - I'm okay with lying when I don't feel its bad. I'm not okay with lying when I feel it's not bad. Basically everyone accepts that moral right and wrong exists, even if purely…

Yes, but it goes further with some branches of non-cognitivism conjecturing that all ethical statements are really expressions of an emotional state or desire. And thats what I consider ethics to be. Personally I'm not guided by any formal code of ethics at all. I just accept that any kind of moral outrage I feel at something is just an emotional desire and I accept that. That is why I will sometimes be okay with acts that society deems unethical - because my conscience isn't being triggered. Ly…

I think its more - I need experience to get my first job, so let me get experience by hook or by crook. Basically inexperience is seen as something one has to be rid of. So any experience > no experience.

None of that matters as much as being a treating your fellow human beings in an ethical manner. Thats why I said it's a value. Values are subjective. Sex doesn't validate that someone is attractive or desirable. It just shows that the person they had sex with wanted sex. Sex with someone consenting enthusiastically basically validates that that person is attractive. A repulsively ugly person (even an incel) can get sex if they are willing to have sex with anyone interested such as even more repu…

Incel assumption that the only thing that matters in life is having sex The "assumption" (its a personal value, really), is not that sex is the only thing that matters. Its the being desired and validated (via sex) is the only thing that matters. If it was only about sex, incels would just get hookers.

I feel women are far more empathetic than men (by a mile and then some). And I think men should really prioritize making friends with women. 51% of women' which means you still have 49% of women who don't mind a virgin. That's half of all women. That is a LOT of women. Take age into account. I bet the 49% is and 51% are heavily partitioned by age. I'm 32, I can't (and dont want to) date a 21 yo.

I think the point you're not getting this that regardless of what it feels like, the reality is that it's the other person's intentions that matters. I don't agree in this instance, because the OP is talking about how HE feels. And how he feels is not linked to the intent of the compliment giver, but to the compliment itself. Personally, if I were in this situation, it would drive me to go to the gym obsessively if I don't already. I'd get into calorie counting, and maybe even take some steroids…

I think its because for men, since we never get compliments on our appearance as opposed to our character traits, getting a compliment on our physical form feels more valuable/validating and thus more genuine. Some of us just want to be objectified.

Women cheat because they feel unhappy or unsatisfied for whatever reason, and then make the choice to do the wrong thing by cheating. Unless you have some kind of fetish for it, cheating never enters your hopes and dreams, ever. This isn't true. Or only partially true in that some women cheat because they are unsatisfied. But these are honestly just fantasies. Normal dudes should not try to become these men, because most of the time a bad boy is actually just a toxic douchebag. The woman doesn't end up taming him, he treats her as shittily as he does everyone else, or she just becomes a worse person to match his toxicity. Yeah but he gets that awesome, intense, passionate sex though. Worth becoming one for that.

I disagree. Know a friend who although isn't really a bad boy, is kinda ugly but has 0 social inhibitions. Man loves to travel and try new things. He has a long list of exes and flings. I was with him at a bar once, dude was like come lets go hit on those girls, and then just went and did it. Got shot down, but its like he didn't even feel it. Dude was laughing. Me, I'd be too afraid to even know what to say. Fight or flight paralysis is real.

Your dick size and immediate intense chemistry are absolutely not relevant factors in long term relationships. Maybe. But like I've said again and again, that what I crave over everything else is the validation of masculinity that I would get from being the best. The craving for that validation is so intense that it outweighs any joys I'd get from a long term happy relationship. It will always be there, a hunger, gnawing away at my soul. So if I had to choose between getting that validation vs b…

Are you going to avoid all potential romantic interactions as a result? No, I'm going to 1) try to become as masculine as I possibly can 2) might get plastic surgery (still not sure if Im good looking or not) 3) tell every woman I date that I have this insecurity, and so I want her to judge me on the potential of whether I can be the best or not. So basically judge if my dick is big enough, or if we have some kind of incredibly intense chemistry or not. If not, I'd want her to tell me so I can w…

The answer I wanted was a more step by step guide on how to become more masculine. Haven't really found it in the BluePill. Because the RedPill is (and is widely considered as) toxic, and Im afraid Ill lose friends if I take it. And I wish the BluePill had solutions for me like the RedPill does, instead of just pathologizing my desire. I don't want to take the RedPill, it just feels like nobody else is telling me how I can be more masculine than I currently am to get the validation I crave. With that said just because there's some half-truths doesn't make the whole philosphy correct, I'll also reiterate this again, you're not helpless. But only RedPill offers help in the way of telling me that my desires for validation are valid and how to achieve then (by becoming more masculine, even if it feels inauthentic). BluePill just tells me my desire is pathological and to kill that desire via therapy.

Theres romantic desire and theres sexual desire. Usually the two overlap but they dont have to. Pure romantic desire is when you love someone even when you have 0 physical attraction to them. Pure sexual desire is when you lust after someone even though theyre toxic and you dont love them at all, but you still have an all consuming desire to fuck them.

It's impossible to have a fulfilling relationship, even a casual one, if you see your partner as nothing but a sex hole Thats the part of TRP I disagree with. Many years ago when I was doing the Good Looking Loser challenge, I met a girl in line at the airport. I was nervous as hell but pushed anyways. Even though my voice was shaky, she endured it because we both had a shared interest in our destination. Then my worst fear happened; she mentioned she was 17 when I went for her number. I just politely thanked her for the pleasant conversation and boarded the plane. This was at a busy airport, with federal agents all around. And she didn't scream or be…

Sounds like you have injested so much toxic masculinity that it's poisoning your whole life. Maybe. But the fear of emasculation doesn't go away. Not matter how much I try to tell myself that my thoughts are irrational. Maybe because at the end of the day, rational thoughts dont matter, only emotions do.

Everyone could worry that their partner settled for them, I'm honestly surprised that most people don't tbh. I have a v similar fear that if I have a child, thay child might inherit my anxiety disorders and turn out to be an unattractive person and suffer for it. Its why I never want to have kids. Whenever i see kids and their parents, I wonder if their parents ever thought things like this before deciding to have a child. How many of these parents will have doomed the child by accident of birth…

I don't resent women or even blame them. Everyone wants whats best for them, women included. I just feel like becoming the best (most sexually attractive) option involves adopting the kind of attributes that Red Pill talks about, like the Dark Triad for eg.

Why are you so terrified of experiencing life? I am terrified of being emasculated. Which is what being settled for feels in my head. The feeling that Im lesser than other men. If your fear is still debilitating, even after putting in effort that is honest with yourself, the right thing to do is seek professional help from a licensed therapist. Either way, your fear is not anyone else's problem, but it means you have all the power. Already did it. Didnt help. The problem is that 1) not much treatment for social anxiety in my country where the concept of therapy is new and most therapists are still stuck to Freudian concepts or Albert Ellis. So you only want one night stands / sex with no strings attached Pretty much. Edit: to be more accurate, I want those until I feel validated enough that I am found sexually desirable by women. And then Id like a relationship. One where Im not settled for.

Being friends or having feelings other than sexual ones clouds atttaction. You don't know if they're attracted to you because they find you hot (sexual attraction) or they find you hot as a person (romantic attraction). I want to experience pure sexual attraction, and the only way to make sure it is that is to have a sexual relationship with 0 feelings.

Do you not think women have the same worry from men they date? Given how many guys just swipe on everyone on dating apps I dont know what worry a women do have because Im not a woman and cant experience their lives. However I do think id they did share that worry, it would be rational.

Friendships arent the same as sexual relationships. And in a sexual relationship, the only things that matter are how physically attractive a man is and how masculine (bold, outgoing, extraverted) he is.

No, Its like listening to one statement from an oncologist and understanding WHY everyone has cancer. And to further extend that analogy, later coming across a book (TheRedPill) which talks about why everyone has cancer and its the same as what the oncologist said - so you trust the book when it tells you what to do to avoid getting cancer.

A car could hit you or a random brick falls on your head on your way to a date, are you guarding against that? It's a possibility after all. No, these things I don't care about. Death is preferable to being emasculated (which is what being settled for is). Being emasculated is what worries me. Sudden death does not.

The point is I can't voluntarily change that. It doesn't matter how big my problem is, what matters is that I can't change how I feel voluntarily, no more than a man can will himself to be happy.

I've already read Models. Tried following it, couldn't really get myself to be vulnerable in the way of flirting/asking women out. The fear of being seen as a predator is too strong. Plus I really don't know how to flirt or be funny. The clever lines and responses just don't enter my head. Especially when I'm afraid.

The problem with things like emotional intimacy and love is that they can cloak over the fact that the woman does not desire you sexually as much as she did a hookup in the past. So you don't know if her desire for you is sexual or romantic. The only way to know for sure is as you said sex, but "with no emotional intimacy".

but then again I’m sure if you talk to enough people as well on the street we all know someone who’s been cheated on, or has been cheated on themselves. Which is why I think its rational to guard against it by never marrying and never having kids.

Okay then I'll put it in a gender neutral way - the risk of being settled for exists (for both genders). Therefore it makes sense to guard against it.
/r/ExRedPill12/09/24 05:52 AM

However, it doesn't mean it'll necessarily end badly. But you do have to guard against that risk though. Like, many women might not end up in an abusive relationship. But women are still encouraged to learn to watch out for the signs of one.

Claiming something applies to the whole population has no truth unless it applies to the whole population. Thats fair I guess. I dont believe anything really applies to the entire population of humans. But RedPill is the only ideology that talks about how men can be settled for and how humiliating that is (atleast for some men), and how to guard against it. Its the only ideology that addresses this fear.

I think if some people make a choice, one can extrapolate from it that many others will too. Im not saying AWALT because thats a stupid generalization. But it does feel like MWALT and it makes sense to keep your guard up and focus on becoming the most (for lack of a better term "alpha") you can possibly be, even to the point of self destructiveness, just to reduce the odds of this happening to you.

Priya says her husband is very physically attractive Yeah, but the way its portrayed, the other guy is more of the toxic alpha male that the Red Pill prompts men to be. And again she's an actual professional who talks to people who do cheat. Its not about whether shes sexually attracted to you or not. But more about the intensity of her lust and desire for you versus othet men in her past. Like a good example would be the Netflix show Sex/Life where the protagonists lusts after her ex far more than she does her husband. Nobody wants to be second best for their partner.

Not if I take precautions. I suspect I'll always have one foot out the door, in any relationship. That would be my way of preserving my heart, always willing to leave at the first sign that shes not as into me as she was into others.

Im not even sure what you mean by that, but this feels more like an ad hominem. Id appreciate it if you discussed the issue as opposed to trying to insult me. Edit: I see youve edited your statement.

Thats also fair reasoning.

Lol, Ive had 'help' and that was fairly useless. Only thing that'll make me feel good is validation.

Fair.

Umm, I dont think its fair to generalize women that way. If men can be complex and varied (and they are), then so can women. criminals have more children Sure, but not all women will go with a criminal. In fact Im p sure revealing that youve been to jail will make most women run away from you. make leads of romance are glorified abusers Depends on the romance. Yes 50SOG dude is one. But the K-Drama dudes arent(in the Kdrama atleast). they show inclinations toward dark triad men Yeah but afaik th…

Thank you! I will certainly go after what I want, irrespective of what Reddit thinks.

Yeah but the fear is that she finds the guy not AS attractive as the men she slept with instantaneously. But there are other qualities of the man she dates (kindness, empathy etc etc) that make up for it. Furthermore it becomes a bit of an epistemic problem because the men always wonder if she actually lusts after them as much as she did her hookups and ONSes. The only way to know for sure is to 1)be the guy who she sleeps with asap and 2)the woman tells him she lusts after him way more than any…

For me, even though the rational part of me can recognize and acknowledge that it is black and white thinking... the emotional part of me that craves that validation cannot be overruled. So I'd say this limitation is absolute. Atleast for me. And prolly for other men also.

Yeah, I saw women say they did. And give reasons for it to - (they liked him genuinely and didnt want to be seem as easy by him, versus the other guy who they didnt care if he hung around or not so they just hit it and quit it). I do find that reasoning believable. I just feel that even with that reasoning, my need for validation (which I get when she sleeps with me asap because to me it makes me feel like Im more of a man than her past partners) outweighs it

If she just makes me wait until I introduce her to my family, put a gold ring on her finger and take her on a honeymoon when other guys don't have to I think women DO desire you if they're doing the ring & honeymoon thing. Just not in the way they desire the guy who didnt have to wait.

Would you? Or is she interested on the other things that marriage brings like resources? I mean Ive seen women on this subreddit on similar threads say they absolutely desire their husband. And I dont think its fair to say theyre lying (they get nothing by lying on an anonymous forum). So yeah I do think you can be desired in a relationship, even if she made you wait. There's no such thing as desire for being kind. I disagree. Just look at K-Drama protagonists women lust over. A big part of thei…

I hope you're not using "insecure and validation" as some kind of weapon to diminish men. Dont worry, AF/BB is something I struggle with myself. Id never diminish someone over it. I guess I just want to feel validated through womens lust for me. Would you like to be in a relationship with a woman who's meh about you sexually, OP Obviously not, but its more than just being into me sexually. For me, she has to be into me MORE than with any other guy in her past. Otherwise the thought of me being l…

I mean, I dont intend to ever have kids or get married, so family court isnt applicable to me. Id still feel broken if a woman I liked made me wait but not some other dude in her past. And I feel thats because it makes me feel emasculated by questioning my desirability compared to the previous guy. So I cant agree that its all about men being mad that they were lied to.

But you would also be desired in a marriage or a relationship where the woman initially made you wait. I feel it has more to do with being desired in specific ways - like being desired for being hot, over being desired for being kind. And thus I feel its more about validation, because womens lust for us is what validates us.
