Thank you for your response. Your distinction between having a virtues wife and one who is willing to sacrifice for the mission is helpful. I’m unsure what my mission is. I connect people in with my young adults community at church, in a youth leader, but I’m yet to invite people along who have no faith background at all (just strengthening or reconciling). Perhaps I need to consider this more. What are your thoughts? /u/Red-Curious

Deep_Strength can you share your thoughts on what has been said about waiting till you are older and established before marrying? I find this two differing opinions hard to reconcile, and find that I oscillate between the two. /u/Deep_Strength

Thanks for taking the time to go into detail, you’ve explained this well. Why do you think men who are two years older than their wives have the best chance at a successful marriage? I’m currently 21. So according to what you’ve shared this means I should wait a couple of years (2-3) and continue to improve myself until that time? Well done with the stats.

Titus 2:1-6 (NIV): “1 Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance...6 Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled.” I don’t understand how as a supporter of Red Pill you can put that advice forward as a viable option.

Sounds like we both do similar things, except I work out 3 days a week. Outside of the Word and prayer I have other pursuits such as learning Greek, singing practice and my uni course, however as per the post these things don’t remove the temptation. Thanks for reaching out. Interesting that you are an Orthodox enquirer, I am too. Without feminism getting hitched at a younger age was much more feasible, and I feel this change in culture impacts men the most. Women can tie the knot very young if …

No you don’t need to write long paragraphs, use bible verses (per se) to make your point. But picking out particular articles that reflect some people and some churches, and labelling a pastor as beta based on his looks makes for a very weak and unconvincing argument. I agree with you on what you’ve said, but you’re method isn’t good and certainly won’t convince many people outside the RP echo chamber. I agree it’s disheartening. I didn’t say anything about sacrificing masculinity, you’ve misint…

I’m curious what denomination you are? I’m a charismatic Baptist, Eastern Orthodox enquirer. Why? For the poorly elaborated but true reasons you’ve listed in your post. We sing feminine songs, unless it’s the teaching pastor the preaching is feminine focused, and there is only one male focused ministry which involves getting together and watching a sports match twice a year (at most). I don’t see a church service as something I attend to ‘receive’ from. It’s a demonstration of faith, a sacrifice…

Very nice. Guardians is what got me onto 70s and 80s music, I haven’t looked back. I loved Star Wars growing up, Empire is my favourite. I mean I knew the stories and characters years before actually watching the films. I’m just disenfranchised (aha!) with the new trilogy, which makes me feel like I’ve grown out of the series. There’s a guy going to my church who isn’t a Christian (searching/agnostic) who is married to my friend’s sister. I met him five weeks ago and started chatting to him abou…

I also love movies, however I don’t feel I’ve seen enough films to consider myself a buff. E.g. I haven’t seen every Coen brothers film. What are your favourites? Some of mine are Blade Runner (‘82), V for Vendetta, Alien, Hacksaw Ridge, Where the Wild Things Are. I know there is a lot of research regarding cold shower benefits, and I’ll admit the testosterone increase did grab my attention. But it’s mainly an attempt at becoming more anti-fragile. It’s also amusing when I can jump in the ocean …

Some things that are currently occupying my time. I’m a literature reader. I’m an avid music listener and recently bought a record player and found an original first press Srgt Pepper’s record. I own one Bonsai. I’m into genealogy, a recent DNA test sparked my interest. I have a fascination with personality psychology, and take cold showers. I also have an interest in politics. (Another RP given?) What about yourself?

Agreed. I attend a 'contemporary' Church, and I crave the old hymns. Except when they are the Hillsong-esque redubs. Do you have any personal favourites?

The only minor issue is that Corey encourages sex in a relationship as soon as possible. But as I'm sure you already understand with Red Pill ideas, these pieces of Hard Core advice can be interpreted through the idea of what is being conveyed, and then appropriated for the Christian lifestyle.

I really appreciate this post. I'm wondering then, is there a particular age you'd consider marriage worthy? Key Red Pillers like Tomassi recommend men wait until at least 30 before jumping into a monogamous relationship. Do you buy into this, or would you say that as long as the above stages are fulfilled then age is irrelevant?

"How to be a 3% Man" by Coach Corey Wayne. It's a dating advice book which works in the framework of TRP, except doesn't explain the hidden mechanics of hypergamy, BB/AF, etc. I came to TRP after reading this, and so my transition was a lot easier than say, a man who is learning about TRP cold turkey. I recommend the book if you're interested in learning about the more practical, almost mundane, details of relationships that the TRP may overlook. E.g. How to ask a woman out, when to text her, ho…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
