It would have been weirder to give them back I think
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 04:44 PM

Do you want me to send you some brownies
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 04:43 PM

If you were attracted to her, sure. If you weren't attracted to her, you might have a different reaction, depending on your personal standards for such.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 04:42 PM

That might have worked if I was pretty, but as it is I think he still would have rejected me
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 04:39 PM

Why would it be fake
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 04:38 PM

I mean the other day you told me I was a 4/10 chasing a 6/10 so I don't think you wanna date me either
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 04:36 PM

I don't really know what you mean by special lol, but my standard is homemade everything (no boxed mix), fancy vanilla, espresso to amplify the chocolate flavor, extra egg yolk because I prefer brownies on the fudgier side, pecans if the other person is okay with nuts (he was) Randomly walking up to someone and giving them soup/a sandwich/salad sounds kind of insane but maybe it would have worked
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 04:34 PM

That's my new rule. Nobody gets any baked goods unless they go on several dates with me
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 04:30 PM

Yeah he tried very hard not to hurt my feelings. I don't think he enjoyed having to say that.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 04:25 PM

last year the guy I liked was talking to me about how sad he was to spend Valentine's Day alone, so I baked him some brownies and told him I liked him, and he was like "oh I don't feel the same way but thank you" that was a little embarrassing
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 04:21 PM

I've hated myself since childhood but I've been trying to work on it lol
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 03:43 PM

right, but it also results in a nicer and more consistent "crisp" on the bread than butter, which I appreciate, it just lacks flavor compared to butter
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 03:19 PM

I think most people also include bread in a grilled cheese
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 03:15 PM

Out of the things you listed, I prefer a pretty solid blend. Ideally I want to do the cooking so I want to plan most of the meals. I hate driving but don't mind helping plan routes. Organizing/planning vacations sucks on your own, but if he really wants to do it himself then okay, I don't care too much. Dealing with electricians and such, joint effort - things get very complicated when only one partner has the necessary information. Dates/activities joint effort just because planning them is tir…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 03:11 PM

this is my standard but I'm trying to mix it up a little bit
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 03:05 PM

I've tried mayo on the outside and I like the way it grills but I miss the butter flavor. So butter on the inside is a good move
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 03:04 PM

I would be on board with this if you swapped the ciabatta for sourdough
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 03:02 PM

I like way american melts but I feel like it doesn't do enough in terms of flavor. You gotta add another cheese or bacon or something
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 02:54 PM

Q4A: what is the best cheese combination for the optimal grilled cheese
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 02:48 PM

I'd really rather not be railed by anyone ferociously if that's okay
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 09:46 PM

Tinder. He lives several hours away so we're talking/playing video games/etc. until we're able to arrange to meet in real life
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 09:39 PM

So far I've only left the house to go to physical therapy. But in my defense, it's really frigid/icy today. And I have about 10000 projects to work on here anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 09:08 PM

Y'all really just post this stuff for God and everyone to see
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 06:32 PM

"throw me out" how are you going to euthanize me
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 05:29 PM

medium-sized city with plenty of surrounding rural areas. that's the sweet spot
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 05:26 PM

I think we should all be required to start every comment with "I'm a big dummy loser idiot I'm stinky I'm stupid I'm a pile of sloppy garbage please forgive me for breathing"
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 05:21 PM

it's like when your doctor's office sends you a bunch of confirmation texts before your appointment
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 05:18 PM

I thought we went over all this a couple of months ago
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 05:14 PM

sometimes less Internet helps
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 03:35 PM

I probably won't be able to remember all of that but I will try my best
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 03:33 PM

people here aren't ready for the locus of control pill
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 03:26 PM

they have probably already cloned you
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 03:03 PM

On Feb 14th I will come to PPD and pass out little cards with a piece of candy taped to them so you can at least look forward to that
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 02:48 PM

I think you are getting her PPD lore confused with someone else's
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 02:44 PM

sit in silence until you receive a prophetic vision
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 02:39 PM

All the TikTok talk is reminding me how much I hate algorithmic curation on social media I miss chronological feeds being the default
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 02:05 PM

Yeah, I can't look at myself for long or it starts to become a problem. All the little flaws become apparent. I'll use a mirror while getting ready, but otherwise I try to avoid seeing myself throughout the day.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 01:57 PM

I've never tried drinking it lmao but it's really good for marinades/dressings
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 01:24 PM

I can at least say that when I have been rejected by men, they've all been very kind about it. I'm grateful for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 03:15 AM

My dating life was non-existent for the first 30 years of my life. I haven't experienced the brutal rejection element, but non-existent was at least manageable for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 02:16 AM

too much food touching makes for a bad time
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 12:15 AM

It probably would if I'd hit that point of being hungry enough to not be thinking too hard Having just eaten though, nah
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 12:12 AM

I'd eat it but I'd feel pretty bad about it
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/25 12:10 AM

I think that if we're talking about the scale of brutality, it makes sense that a person who's experiencing a 3-4 would look at a person experiencing a 1-2 and be like "damn my life sucks, I have it really bad." And comparatively, yeah, it is bad...and the standard is slipping, you're right. Quality of life is getting worse. But compared to that lower end of the scale, where people are in truly dire circumstances, it's still a world of difference, and most of us are tremendously lucky. But that …
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/25 11:40 PM

For the average male life portrayed on Reddit, I'd probably give it a 3-4 in terms of brutality. They have internet access so they probably have decent infrastructure around them, they have the time and ability to actually use the internet indicating some degree of both physical/mental health and leisure time, they're presumably somewhat literate and educated, overall I'd say they're likely to have decent access to resources and they probably have most of their baseline survival needs met. Not t…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/25 11:33 PM

Average meaning actually average, like taking into consideration all races/demographics/backgrounds/ disabilities/etc.? Or average in the sense of what most Reddit users probably consider average?

A better comparison would be "you decided to buy a home and now you're being forced to pay for that home whether or not you want to." Which is sort of how it works in real life.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/25 01:08 PM

Yeah I stopped following any influencer (or wannabe influencer) accounts a while back, then kept removing more and more people until it was just a couple of close friends. I also had to stop watching reels/short-form media, I could feel my dopamine receptors frying lol
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/25 12:11 AM

I follow 2 people on IG. I don't post on it at all, but they're both my friends and I really like keeping up with their lives...but I'm so close to purging all social media from my life (Reddit will be the final boss) I think I just gotta bite the bullet and do it. I can text them and see what they're up to, it creates a false sense of connection with them
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/25 12:06 AM

oh my basement is a good 10 degrees colder than the rest of the house sometimes lol, that would be tough to deal with for an apartment
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/25 11:43 PM

lmao damn, my power bill would give me a heart attack if i did that...but my house is old and poorly insulated
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/25 11:18 PM

I'd turn it up but I'm cheap lol. Gonna build a fire in the wood stove instead
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/25 11:05 PM

the heat is on in my bedroom. i'm wearing an undershirt, a long sleeve shirt, long pants, fuzzy socks, a fleece-lined jacket, and two pairs of gloves because i can't get warm i am beginning to suspect i may have circulation issues
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/25 10:59 PM

I decided to try it too, and I think it being a giant pool of people has been beneficial...yeah there's a lot of gross/unpleasant stuff, but I've also encountered more decent and nice people on this app than I have on others

Sit on a bench somewhere, that's what I always do at malls

I already do this because I have crippling social anxiety 👍

I would laugh awkwardly, and then not know how to respond because I'm autistic and I wouldn't understand if he actually wanted to date or if he just wanted to fuck and was making a weird joke about it. Then I'd spend several hours dissecting the interaction in an attempt to make sense of it.

I saw you trying and I just wanted to say I really appreciated it

Make the foreskin long enough to drag the ground when you walk
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/25 12:44 AM

I've tried sprouting stuff that way and transplanting it to the garden later...it never survives lol. I have way better luck just throwing seeds in the ground and letting them figure it out.

but then it'll frost and all the stuff I planted will die 😭

I'm in a conservative/religious area. That may be part of it. But the people here are still members of reality, as far as I'm aware.

And some of us get assaulted when we're three years old. I don't think the correlation between clothing and outcome is always a strong one.

Almost everyone I know is comfortably married. I don't think they're sharing men or having situationships.

I'd give it a nice easy 24 hours. Spend most of it sleeping, spend the rest being kinda bored. Worth it for $24k.

Are they based by my personal standards or based by the collective standard?

I have also seen comments from women here saying they are against it. Why is one representative of "the women of PPD" while the other is not?

What makes you think we're all okay with it?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
