It’s not a lie? She literally said that?
/r/MensRights18/10/21 11:32 PM

She literally said manly men wouldn’t take care of their kids
/r/MensRights18/10/21 11:31 PM

What the…so a manly man is an asshole who neglects his kids? Wtf? Taking care of kids isn’t ‘women’s work’ it’s everyone’s job. Kids need two parents.
/r/MensRights18/10/21 11:31 PM

She called him weak for being a good father and tweeted BringBackManlyMen. Apparently she thinks manly men don’t take care of their kids
/r/MensRights18/10/21 11:29 PM

He’s taking paternity leave, which is important and also normal. Most people take time off when their kids are first born. Having an important job is no reason to neglect your kid. The idea that putting your family before your career is ‘weak’ is honestly disgusting

I think it’s getting to be more than a couple of idiots. Same with feminism, plenty of people who believe in equality between the sexes will say they aren’t feminist because it’s considered man hating instead of promoting equality

No
/r/MensRights09/10/21 08:27 PM

It is a problem, because then people look at this sub and think ‘men’s rights’ are an excuse to hate on women, meaning the real issues are ignored
/r/MensRights09/10/21 08:26 PM

Nah, she could easily be drafted for the army, she beat up the mugger
/r/MensRights09/10/21 08:24 PM

I mean this sub is for men’s rights, not women and it makes sense for the mods to take down this post. But every time there’s any mention of women getting sexually assaulted on this sub there’s a swarm of sexist comments insisting that either ‘men get raped too’ (they do, doesn’t mean women don’t) or ‘she’s lying, sexual assault doesn’t happen’ or even ‘it doesn’t matter because men have it worst!’ And the mods don’t delete the comments. This sub is getting to be a place for sexists whining abou…

It’s not a reason to bare women from joining of their own free will but it is a reason not to draft them
/r/MensRights09/10/21 08:44 AM
1

Women are more likely to be raped, especially as a pow
/r/MensRights09/10/21 08:43 AM

I think the fair deal would be not allowing a draft. But if we had to have one then it would probably be based on physical ability regardless of gender
/r/MensRights09/10/21 02:58 AM

Wrong sub, but I can’t wait for all the sexist to come out one this sub and mods to ignore them as usual
/r/MensRights09/10/21 02:47 AM

Well, I’ll admit the question was a trap. The woman is an MMA fighter who made headlines when a mugger made the mistake of trying to attack her. I’m just pointing out that woman can be stronger than men, and just because something is unlikely doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Also that pretty and strong aren’t mutually exclusive
/r/MensRights09/10/21 02:35 AM
0

Okay I agree to all that? And I never acted like men don’t get raped?
/r/MensRights09/10/21 01:23 AM
2

Basically while I’m against the draft in general, I think drafting women would be worst then drafting men because it would lead a lot more sexual assault. However I don’t agree with the idea that very few women would be able to past the physical tests needed for the military. And logically, if we entered a war drafting women who could would strengthen us. It’s just morally wrong As for the references, well: https://www.defense.gov/News/Releases/Release/Article/2606508/department-of-defense-relea…
/r/MensRights09/10/21 01:15 AM

Why would you say something violent? And I’m not going to call you sexist for enjoying a lady in a bikini. That would be stupid
/r/MensRights09/10/21 01:08 AM
0

But both aren’t equally strong. I just said that. Also there’s male commanders who could use their position of power to rape women, there’s drugging a drink, or gang rape. Not to mention just because you’re strong enough to pass military tests doesn’t mean no one will be stronger than you
/r/MensRights09/10/21 01:05 AM

Hey, we can be sexy and strong you know https://www.mmaindia.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Screen-Shot-2018-08-02-at-3.29.40-PM.png

Seriously, you’re going to act like sexual assault isn’t a big issue in our military? In any military? Do I even need to provide references, I thought this was a known fact? Anyway, of course rape is a war crime but let’s face it—plenty of our enemies will commit that war crime. And while men are more likely to be physically stronger than women there still will be plenty of women who could pass through military training, just not as many as men

Do you know how statics work? If you have ten m&ms and only three are green, the rest brown, and you randomly pick one you are more likely to get a brown one. But you still can pick a green one. If you have a hundred m&ms and only one green one, you still have a chance of picking a green one. It’s just small. Men are on average stronger then women. But that doesn’t mean a woman can’t be stronger than a man. It’s just less likely.
/r/MensRights09/10/21 12:43 AM
-7

The average woman might not be as strong as the average man but that doesn’t mean that if you pick a random woman and a random guy the guy will automatically be stronger. He’s just more likely to be And yes the disadvantage of women fighting is more then just physical strength. Rape would be very common if any woman got captured, not to mention that sexual assault would probably happen within our own troops. There’s already a huge problem and that’s with only a few women willing joining.

There’s definitely a depressing lack of good fathers in fiction. I’ve been enjoying the show RWBY because despite most of the characters being female the mothers are mostly dead, neglectful, or straight up abusive while most the dads are great. Nearly all the mentors are men. Even the male characters who aren’t adults tend to be more nurturing than the female characters. It’s an interesting switch that I really enjoyed
/r/MensRights09/10/21 12:02 AM

Tbf, most feminist are strongly against the draft (me included). Tho I honestly don’t see a logical reason not to draft women who are equally healthy and strong as their male counterparts. The moral reasons not to are endless…

Yes, I’ve seen exactly what sort of harm a false accusation can do. My brother was accused once and that was one of the worst moments of our lives. But I’ve also see countless cases of rape victims being ignored or blamed for it, especially in the christen churchs Example: a girl was raped at her dorm (her parents were missionaries). They quickly hushed it all up, incredibly embarrassed, and refused to let either of their children talk about it. They continued working with the organization that …

You’d be surprised at how bad things were before MeToo for rape victims, most male and female. It was considered the victims fault. Again, I have countless ugly stories. MeToo at least let rape victims realize it wasn’t their fault and got some rapist in prison. Of course, like all moments it was also used by the greedy and the cruel to imprison innocent men. I know exactly how painful a false accusation can be. But I think in the end the good outweighs the bad

I’m talking about an elder at church who was raping his granddaughter (and probably his daughter as well) and somehow no one noticed. When he did get caught, the pastor who made him an elder wasn’t fired. I still hear from my grandparents (ironically, my grandmother is also a victim of sexual assault) about what a great man he is. I’m talking about that same church having a guy work in the youth group when his niece told them he tried to rape her once and shouldn’t be around young girls. She was…

Not always, but like I said it’s ignored a lot. I know so many stories of rape that was kept quiet
/r/MensRights02/06/21 07:08 PM

Fair, he was talking about physical things. It always annoys me when people act like women are gold diggers but ignore that plenty of men just want sex.

I wish people would get away from the ‘who has it worst’. I don’t know who has it worst and personally don’t care. We should be focusing on sexism regardless on who it’s towards
/r/MensRights07/05/21 07:19 AM

Dude, you should like a femnazi. “Men are ruining western culture’ Oh, right. You said women instead so it’s ok
/r/MensRights07/05/21 07:17 AM
1

I mean, that’s fine. But my problem with this post is that it seems to be saying that women don’t have a problem with sexual assault or harassment, instead it’s all men. Where in reality it seems to be that both genders have this problem, and there’s no reason the gender of the victim should dictate how much help they get
/r/MensRights07/05/21 07:16 AM

He’s a cuck for saying women can get raped? Wtf?
/r/MensRights07/05/21 07:14 AM

Isn’t possible that both genders get violated and sexual harassment is a problem for everyone?
/r/MensRights07/05/21 07:13 AM

I’m really getting tired of this sub. Part of me likes how it brings up men’s issues, but I hate how it feels the need to disregard women’s issues too. There can be sexism against both genders, but no one wants to accept that
/r/MensRights07/05/21 07:13 AM
-1

This isn’t ‘woke shit’. Rape culture is a very big problem and it still exists. I have countless stories of it in action. Rape victims are treated as liars or ‘they deserved it’
/r/MensRights07/05/21 07:11 AM
-5

As a woman? I do. It doesn’t mean that rape is considered ok, just that it’s pushed under the carpet and ignored. And yes, this still happens, it’s still a problem
/r/MensRights07/05/21 07:08 AM
-6

Rape culture is real. It’s when rape is ignored and the victims are treated as causing problems. It still happens, tho MeToo has helped a bit
/r/MensRights07/05/21 07:08 AM
-5

No, rape culture is a thing. People will ignore rape happening. Church’s are especially bad. Uh, the horror stories I’ve heard. Somehow a elder of the church got away with raping his granddaughter (and probably his daughter too). No one noticed, and when he finally got caught and imprisoned the other elders didn’t even step down. The church faced no backlash for hiring a rapist and pedo. And that was only one case for that church alone
/r/MensRights07/05/21 07:07 AM
0

It’s not so much accepted as it’s considered something shameful if it happened to you. The victims are still treated pretty bad, tho MeToo has helped a lot.
/r/MensRights07/05/21 07:03 AM
2

I strongly disagree. Rape culture is a problem for women too, it just looks very different. It’s considered shameful and not something people talk about, and people will often look the other way. Maybe things have changed. But I doubt it. I have endless horror stories of rape were the parents will continue supporting the organization (usually a church or similar) who allowed it. And still you get ‘what was she wearing?’ ‘She’s making it up to get attention’ ‘she shouldn’t have been walking there…

I mean...let’s be honest here men’s main priority in dating is going to be sex. The pool is already narrow because women usually aren’t as interested in having a sexual partner as a man is
/r/MensRights07/05/21 06:51 AM
2

Honestly you’d be surprised be the number that of women who were ignored or told not to mention their sexual abuse. I think/hope MeToo helped that, but not for guys sadly
/r/MensRights07/05/21 06:42 AM
6

This is just horrible. We need a MeToo movement for guys and more awareness that guys can sexually assaulted too. My brother was sexually assaulted and the idea of anyone laughing it off makes me see red.
/r/MensRights06/05/21 06:07 PM

I’m so sorry about that. We’ve really failed male victims of sexual assault. We need a MeToo movement for guys
/r/MensRights06/05/21 06:04 PM

The funny thing is boys don’t usually bully girls, and vice versa. Although I might be wrong
/r/MensRights06/05/21 05:56 PM

I’m fine with revenge fantasies for rape, my main problem with them is that the character who are raped are usually over sexualized. Hence I spit on your grave is sexist toward women. As long as the male protagonist isn’t sexualized himself I see no reason this is sexist
/r/MensRights06/05/21 05:55 PM

Women are less violent than men. Most of the time female abusers use mental or emotional abuse. Sexual and physical abuse by women does happen, but it’s rarer

Not really. They were kids when they ‘gave away their dignity’, they hardly had a choice. Besides, that’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about how people act like you can only talk about sexism against one gender
/r/MensRights04/05/21 03:23 PM

That doesn’t make it okay. A lot these people were groomed from an early age, and regardless being rich doesn’t mean you don’t deserve dignity

/r/MensRights04/05/21 07:52 AM

A lot of times it harmful to both. Treating women like children isn’t helping them in long run either. There’s no positive side to it
/r/MensRights04/05/21 07:48 AM
6

Am I the only who really hates this sort of stuff? It shouldn’t be a race to who is oppressed the most. Sexism is sexism, we should celebrate it being called out whether it’s about men or women, and whining ‘but my gender has problems too!’ is hurting not helping. Raising awareness is fine. But not as a comeback to someone else trying to do the same thing
/r/MensRights04/05/21 07:33 AM

Exactly! A lot of masculinity is just harmful stereotypes
/r/MensRights04/05/21 07:27 AM

I don’t know about this... I don’t like all the conversation around ‘toxic masculinity’ and such, but I do think it has some good points. Guys should be allowed to be more feminine without being seen as gay/trans, men don’t always enjoy sex and can be raped, and the pressure put on men to never need anyone and be constantly independent is damaging
/r/MensRights04/05/21 07:26 AM

/r/MensRights21/04/21 06:09 AM

How is this a straw man? Also, just because you support men’s rights doesn’t mean you can’t support women too. Actually, I think it’s hypocritical not too.
/r/MensRights21/04/21 05:39 AM

And yet, for some reason are male hero (who’s a complete idiot, of course) is still on charge, despite her being perfect at everything. I’m fine with kickass woman but if they’re that good maybe they should be the main character. Otherwise it ends up insulting both genders.
/r/MensRights21/04/21 05:37 AM

People keep on saying that...and I don’t see it. Although I don’t watch Netflix shows. It seems most bad ‘sjw’ films are remakes or sequels filled with the laziest attempts to be woke ever. Like the Star Wars sequels. I know they were trying to be feminist, but I still don’t see how they are
/r/MensRights21/04/21 05:34 AM

It’s not like sexual harassment isn’t a huge problem that needs to be talked about. I’m not sure what’s so wrong about this. Usually when I hear women complaining about sexual harassment they aren’t hating on all men, just the creeps.
/r/MensRights21/04/21 05:19 AM

And if a woman did abandon her child, everyone else will treat it like somehow it’s okay. The kids won’t feel angry at her for leaving. Also there aren’t many abusive or just less then perfect mother’s in media.

Okay, wtf is this? I usually try to stay civil during discussions but this take is just insulting. First off, labor is incredibly painful and difficult, so it’s 100% up to what the women who’s you know, actually going through labor, on who she wants to be with her during it. This time should be entirely about her and the baby, because they are the ones doing the work. Secondly, the husband forces her to let it a woman she doesn’t like and who’s treated her like crap, but he’s somehow the victim …

But that’s because the actual word ‘cunt’ is way worst then ‘dick’. If you put it in a movie, it’d get an r-rating. Actually, I can’t think of a worst curse in the English language. I guess racial slurs would probably be considered worst. So that’s what’s sexist: that being a cunt is much worst then a dick! Although I only speak for America. Other countries might use those words differently
/r/MensRights20/04/21 02:57 AM

I have a problem with some of these: 2: honestly any privilege of being excused due to PMS is negated by PMS itself. 28: I’m a bit confused by this one. I’m not sure why guys don’t have a choice in whether they have sex or not 36: I’m pretty sure that guys are allowed to show more skin then girls (example: not wearing a shirt might get you some looks, but not actual cops) 43: ha, ha....no. But other then that I agree! I would also add us women have a wider selection of clothes, lotions, soaps, s…
/r/MensRights19/04/21 06:50 PM

Because cunt is a much, much worst word to use. A dick is a bit of jerk, a cunt is a huge insult. If anything it’s sexist towards women

I don’t think he was being insensitive, but I don’t entirely blame the women either. It was logical for her to get angry and scared at getting followed (especially because she was wearing headphones which isn’t a very smart thing to do if your walking home alone) and he was logical for getting mad at her for suddenly yelling at him.

If you’re talking about abortion, it’s different. People who are against abortion believe the fetus may be sentient, hence abortion is murder.
