Don't believe in everything you hear about us in the media. I guarantee you that the majority of us want true equality just as much as you do. That is, the kind of norms which tells women that their only purpose in life is to have children, or the kind of norms which tells men they ought to be emotionless robots and that women can't be rapists. I am a female feminist who has subscribed to both /r/Feminism and /r/MensRights. Everything is not black and white, and the same goes with feminism. Of course there are male rape victims out there but they will never get their voices heard if we don't start working together.
