I don't think it's a crap shoot. We learn over time through experience. Men and women stay in bad situations for a number of reasons. And, plenty of others leave them.

True, but I'll point out that they're players. So, what they're pulling probably isn't what this guy is after. He wants a girlfriend.

She doesn't think you're asexual, or she wouldn't joke in that way. She might just be frustrated by your lack of initiative. Some of us are used to more assertive men. So, it has happened to me once that I teased a guy in this way. He would flirt lightly, be suggestive, etc, but just ... stayed in some sort of weird limbo. In my case, it wasn't even so much that I wanted him to by that point. I was just still dumbfounded by the fact that he hadn't lol. It's basically just a passive aggressive op…

It rings of insecurity, honestly. To want a girl who knows what to do clearly means she's done it before. But to assume she's slept around, as opposed to simply having plenty of practice with her ex? It's judgmental and immature.

He said take initiative and put his d in your mouth, while also saying act innocent. I'm of the mind that he hasn't had many experiences within a committed relationship. He wants a woman who can please him, but will judge her as a whore if she knows what she's doing. 💀

The most subtle of all is just being present, and in his vicinity. In my younger years, I would just position myself near a guy I found attractive when I went out, to give him a chance to see me and speak to me himself. So, if you notice a girl is all of a sudden always around you. Or, she was sitting way over there, and now she's sitting over here. If you're moving around and she stays in eye shot. You might not even catch her looking at you. It depends on the setting and social situation, of c…

It's possible. Some of us are extremely subtle.

These guys don't want to believe that attractive women go for what they want, too. Not always as aggressive as yours, but women definitely get into position if we see something we like.

Exactly. Stunners choose too.

Would you know if one was trying to choose you, short of one being extremely blunt? Not all women are super direct. We tend to position ourselves, and flirt a little at times. We don't tend to ask guys out often.

We remained friends, and he DID end up with a girl who was bi, and they worked out okay last I know. It was better for him, and healthier for him. Edit: And their relationship wasn't so sexually monogamous, either. It was more fulfilling. 🤨 So, you think it's horrible to want a person to be truly happy?? Because I believe in monogamy, and staying with me would have been stifling anyway. 🙄

Um, that's a weird take. He wasn't closeted. He just withheld that information from me personally. I think it's weird and rather twisted to believe someone should be forced to stay in a relationship with someone when they're not sexually compatible.

What? That he didn't tell me he was bi?

Are you wanting equality? Or are you wanting to be freely "toxic"?

What does this have to do with feminism? A person can like or not like whatever they choose. Do you feel you should be forced to like women who don't shower, for instance, as not to alienate them? Or, do you believe you have a right to preferences?

He's apparently wanting monogamy, based on what he said to me.

Exactly. Don't expect others to love you till you can love yourself. ❤

THAT didn't disgust you? Teehee? Love yourself, bro.

That bi guy wasn't my husband, and I'm not projecting anything at all. You asked a question, and are looking for permission to lie to people. The other fear is that a man will cheat on the dl. I never even implied that you personally want multiple partners. I simply stated that you don't have to limit yourself by hiding who you are through lying to women. Would you rather someone who loves you for who you are, or someone who thinks you're digusting? I find it very telling that you found my suppo…

I just noticed that you're the OP. So, to be clear, polyamourous relationships are a thing. Open relationships with sexual boundaries are a thing. My friend with the 2 wives has been legally married to 1 for 15 years, and they have been with the other for 10. They understand if he wants male attention, and they're all in a ball of love traveling and cohabitating together. So, don't feel like telling the TRUTH is limiting your options. On the contrary, hiding the truth is what limits you. I remai…

No, it wasn't irrational. He enjoyed having sex with men. Irrational is tricking someone into being with you by lying about who you are and what you enjoy, as if there aren't other options out there.

No. Not at all. I don't advocate lying to take choice from another to have ones way. That's not what healthy relationships are made of.

You should be honest about your sexuality, and will probably find more acceptance among bi women. I'm a cis gender heterosexual woman, and I dated a guy who was bi many moons ago. It was over after he told me, though. My concern was that if he was attracted to men as well, I wouldn't be enough for him alone. You know? I don't have a penis. For many women it's a masculinity thing. For others, they question whether something about them reminds you of a man. Bi women may be more understanding. I ha…
