I see where your coming from, but I don’t think National Geographic said “daddy daycare” to promote stereotypes, instead I think they just tried to emphasize fathers because of their importance, and because the post revolves around Father’s Day.

Yeah gorillas are pretty awesome, especially as parents. But unfortunately some people think of gorillas as aggressive monsters even if in reality chimpanzees are arguably the most aggressive apes.

I don’t see the problem they simply recognized that male parenting can be rare within mammals? I genuinely want to know your perspective as to how they are perpetuating stereotypes.
