You cannot trust a male pretending he wants to wait for sex lmao. That means something is wrong with him. Red flag factory. . If a man openly tried this “not til we are in love” shit I’d assume he had a micropenis or something. I realize this was 5 months ago; but this is TRUTH. I live with this. He might be great in other ways; but sexually, something weird is going on. The only possible exception is if he is truly, devoutly religious. Which is almost no-one; and you would need to scrutinize th…

Most people (not all) in the U.S. have access to a few grocery stores. And there is always canned and frozen veg. People use food as entertainment, and don't want to discipline themselves.

Deep cleaning (moving all the furniture to vacuum underneath, mopping the floors daily, scrubbing bathtubs, making 3-4 beds properly), plus standing in a kitchen making food from scratch (then washing all the dishes and countertops and stove and sink afterwards) : is a grueling form of exercise. I'm sure a lot of those 50's era women didn't sit down all day.

He would be kind and concerned about me having cancer. I'm as sure of that as I can be as sure of anything about another human being. He would do his best to take care of me. He would not want to view or be intimate with a post mastectomy body; I'm pretty darn sure of that too.

Women are also seen as sexless crones; and it is revolting that they should think of themselves and remarry. Especially since any money she has may become the property of the new husband if she dies first. Men are allowed to be sexual forever, and can do whatever they want with their money.

Don't ever think a man will treat you better because he's disabled or disadvantaged in some way. .....They feel so emasculated by their disability that they regain their power through abuse and harassment. This is true X1000 like the woman in a coma who was raped and impregnated at that hospital and no one spoke up or did anything until she gave birth. I don't want to over speak, and say that this is common; but I remember first hearing about such a case ca. 2003, on c-span: a hearing on nursing…

There's a Dove soap commercial where there is a brief image of an older women's single mastectomy. My husband said, " uhhh, we don't need to see that". So, if the worst happens, I will make sure he never sees me. I don't know if he'd divorce me. We're not $ prosperous.

No relationship (although we were dating before), because he admits he doesn’t think I’m the one, This is a signal from the Universe to leave. Just get your shit packed, get off any accounts you share with him; and go somewhere else. This is your one chance before you end up married to someone who settled for you. If you marry someone who wishes they could have done better; you face an apathetic, life in a cul-de-sac existence.

Roommate situations are inherently dangerous for that reason. I think you should be allowed to install a padlock outside of your bedroom door, and have a bolt and chain on the inside. Otherwise, you have to keep your underwear, menstrual products in your car, and only bring them into the house as needed. It's almost certain some creepy guy associated with one of your roommates will go through your feminine/sexual belongings.

It's not what you are doing in the way of being kind to him; but still having friends. Or, putting some more effort in, but not too much in the early stages. Those things are good enough as far as they go. They do have some value. I am talking about YOUR deepest, core values about yourself. It isn't easy to assess by yourself, and it can be very difficult to change. But like you said, this is your second relationship, so perhaps too soon to see a pattern. If you are going through life putting out the signal that you want a partner sooo much, and that you're oh so eager to please, and make them happy; you will attract people who wish to use you and take advantage of you. Later on, when they encounter the part of you that is growing and improving yourself; you are not centering on them and they will abandon you. That part of you that gets better and better should be the signal that you broadcast, loud and clear: " I am a great partner. I give and c…

You seem to have made up your mind already. If you think he's a good guy, then go with that flow; you know him, we don't. But another part of you (call it what you will: instinct, subconscious mind), posted here looking for assurance from internet strangers. Why do you think that is? You don't have to answer; just think about it yourself. £2000 is not a debt to put off life for; what happens when you have a mortgage, a car payment? From what I've gathered, it's to avoid sharing the money in the event of a divorce. I also believe that the man is not attracted enough to the woman. It is a relationship of convenience for these men. I mean think about it. A second income, usually the woman does all the household chores and childcare; or he does a pittance. He's not alone, gets a warm body to have sex with, gets emotional support. Gets to sit and play video games or watch sports for hours. And when he gets bored with her, or me…

Exactly. If it's "just a piece of paper", then it's no big deal to get married. It's a huge deal to get married; and incredibly meaningful if your boyfriend shows no interest in it.

It used to only exist in x-rated theaters in the trashy part of town. Along with scuzzy "adult book stores". Magazines at the convenience store had to be wrapped in paper and be behind the counter. Then came home video tapes and subscription cable TV, during the 80's. But you could still avoid it. Those tapes weren't for sale at normal stores. You didn't have to have the Playboy channel on your cable service. But, with the internet and smartphones, that was it. There is no way to get rid of it n…

Using porn a lot contributes to social anxiety and depression. Maybe because of how it fucks with your brain chemistry; dopamine, oxytocin etc. I think that's part of the weird vibe they give off.

I think if you know sperm + egg equals baby and you don't "do" condoms, you have no one to blame but yourself. Well then, of course, women are expected to do anal as a substitute. It's always up to the woman to either suffer or do without, or both.

Why do people who are into this always try to convert vanilla or even introduce BDSM to inexperienced people? They are not aroused sufficiently by physical attraction, touch and direct genital stimulation. Or even mood enhancers like candlelight, sexy music, lingerie, good food. For whatever reason, there needs to be pain and humiliation in order for them to become aroused/orgasmic. It goes against our survival instinct to deliberately hurt and damage ourselves. I believe in the pleasure princip…

No, not necessarily. Women that make men work for it, almost always get what they want. The marriage might fall apart after a few years. But by then, she's got the bag. A lot of women do not marry for love or romance. I still haven't decided if I disapprove of these gals, or if I secretly admire them.

Liberals in general have a hard-on for "eastern mysticism ", I suppose Hinduism and Buddhism. As long as it isn't Western/Christian/Judaism, it's fascinating and must be respected at all costs. I have yet to see how eastern religions accord women any more respect or privileges.

Hours of cooking, cleaning, bookkeeping, laundry (and eventually nursemaid, nanny, governess, kiddy-chauffeur), that you do for 4-5 hours a day after work, before collapsing into bed until the alarm clock goes off. Oh, forgot, don't forget at least 1/2 an hour of exercise each day to keep the body nice and tight. And be sure to be ready for sex at all times. And this is all UNPAID!!!

You could be unmarried and buy a house with anyone (a roommate, for instance), as long as you have a real estate attorney draw up a contract between the two of you.

You couldn't. Not if you are in the U.S.A. and file jointly. The way to do this is to stash money in a safety deposit box from your own spending money. Or, keep separate bank accounts and file taxes separately. That looks weird in the U.S., because being married gets you a tax credit. Filing separately forfeits this credit. And any spouse, especially a controlling one, is going to want to know why you want to do this.

Testosterone is irrepressible when it sees something it really wants. If he wants you; the thought of another man getting you will drive him crazy. Remember, what's most important to men in life is competing with and beating other males. So, if months and years go by and he's still, "meh" about marrying you: it is very meaningful. It means you are a placekeeper. A second income to make his life easier and sweeter. An emotional support system when he needs to vent about work. An easy source of se…

It's important that the man wants to move quickly. Obviously, this is if there is no sign of him being an abuser. The woman should never move fast. And can push it out for a while. It makes men want you more. If they want you, they'll keep pursuing. Men value women that are somewhat difficult to please, and are a bit out of reach. If I can give one piece of advice, it is that women NEVER chase a man, or seem over eager, or want to get married quickly. And this is if you want to be married and ha…

Time moves faster for a woman. Ideally, if you want children, you should have had them by 35 years old. Even if you don't want children, or are willing to undergo the stress of later childbirth; we all know that men tend to place a high value on chronological youth. Don't waste your precious limited years on a dope.

Men can be worn down emotionally by women; especially if that is the dynamic of their parents relationship. Also, men are just people. Humans don't like coming home to an empty house, year after year. A wife provides meals, cleaning, bookkeeping, social secretary, sex (an alternative to porn), a second income etc. And humans are tribal. If everyone else is marrying, having kids, and getting a mortgage; isn't it time you thought about settling down? People don't necessarily get married because th…

Yeah, I just got fed up of being stared at or having obscenities yelled at me from passing vehicles. I found that what I described is 90% effective. It's not how you dress all the time. Just so you are left alone when out, alone exercising/walking. My beliefs are that men cannot be changed biologically; and that they actually have no wish to change emotionally or psychologically.

The solution I came up with is to wear baggy, very oversized clothes. Your overshirt or jacket should be long enough to reach the place on your upper thighs where they start to curve out. You should wear a tshirt/tank top AND an overshirt. They should be baggy enough that you can't really make out the size and shape of your chest. The colors of the clothes should be neutral. Nothing to attract attention, like bright pinks. Wear little to no makeup, like concealer and lip balm only. This is your …
