| 1 | Video of woman punching man outside 7-Eleven goes viral | And it's prompted a discussion about female-on-male violence, with a majority of comments agreeing it's a serious and under-recognised problemI don't know. | /r/MensRights | 01/11/16 01:10 PM |

| 1 | UK: There are about 100 Male midwives in the UK. They are discriminated against and there was a great deal of opposition to them even being allowed to be midwives. In the UK 90% of nurses are female. Where is the Government campaign for more male nurses, midwives and GP's?My experience is similar, but only for female patients. With men, it is very much the exception rather than the rule. Usually, I insert them. | /r/MensRights | 04/11/14 12:37 AM |

If you're UK based, I can tell you this is actually very unlikely - although it may well be inserted by a female doctor. I haven't heard many cases where men have specified a male doctor. They would be more than welcome and empowered to do so. | /r/MensRights | 03/11/14 09:23 PM |
| 1 | Woman's "post secret" about an innocent man serving 10 years for her "rape".So blame the people who are abusing the concept. Feminism is an egalitarian principle, abused by some for power. Religion is usually seen as a peaceful and harmonious way of life, abused by some for power. Surely we can agree it's the people to blame, and that feminism, like religion, has worthwhile virtues that are worth defending? | /r/MensRights | 03/06/14 06:44 AM |
| 1 | Woman's "post secret" about an innocent man serving 10 years for her "rape".Not all feminists represent feminism. I've been as furious as everyone else at the extreme and the obvious cases on /r/MensRights, but tarring all feminists with the same brush is just as helpful as those feminists' tarring of all MRAs with the same brush. | /r/MensRights | 03/06/14 06:33 AM |
| -1 | Woman's "post secret" about an innocent man serving 10 years for her "rape"."Feminism is a collection of movements and ideologies aimed at defining, establishing, and defending equal political, economic, cultural, and social rights for women. This includes seeking to establish equal opportunities for women in education and employment. A feminist advocates or supports the rights and equality of women." I don't know, sounds like something I'd want to support. But whatever, carry on perpetuating the cycle, if that's what you want. | /r/MensRights | 02/06/14 07:33 PM |
| -2 | Woman's "post secret" about an innocent man serving 10 years for her "rape".No it isn't. Misandry is not a tenet of feminism. Unfortunately many misandrists identify as feminists, and do not realise this. | /r/MensRights | 02/06/14 07:20 PM |
| -3 | Woman's "post secret" about an innocent man serving 10 years for her "rape".Although the chances are as you say, it's still unhelpful to assume it's a woman. MRM shouldn't be feminist-bashing, it should be equality-championing. | /r/MensRights | 01/06/14 09:13 PM |
| -2 | Time magazine's editorial includes a nasty quote from an MRA. One problem: it's not real.Dude this makes no sense. | /r/MensRights | 30/05/14 11:03 AM |
| 4 | A friend shared this on Facebook. My friends list just got one person smaller. It's written like humour to me. So what if it's offensive? I enjoy dark, racist and sexist jokes equally. | /r/MensRights | 18/03/14 11:38 AM |
| 5 | I saw this on the 'banbossy' website. I'd love to see the evidence for that. And subject to enormous interpretation bias. Your experiment is even worse than polling! | /r/MensRights | 16/03/14 11:49 AM |
| 3 | Facts about gender discrimination - infographic with sourcesWell, if you look at the original post, I do take offence - blaming doctors for women dying of heart disease? Suggesting a miscarriage of scientific process by "extrapolating data to women"? These are very strange claims to make for a very well-recognised phenomenon: more women die of heart disease because women live longer. More women die from most things for which age is a major risk factor. | /r/MensRights | 19/05/13 09:10 PM |
| 1 | Facts about gender discrimination - infographic with sourcesI have a short tether for people spreading misinformation about health - it's counter-productive and often dangerous, but I see you didn't mean any offence, so sorry for the brusque approach. I'm not sure what your point is still. It's a fact that women do suffer less from cardiovascular disease pre-menopausally. More women die in total from cardiovascular disease because they live longer. That's pretty much the simple epidemiology - there is no conspiracy or social gender bias. Simple statistic… | /r/MensRights | 19/05/13 08:44 PM |
| 2 | Facts about gender discrimination - infographic with sourcesSo in a month I'll instantly become more credible? 4 years and 1 month's experience is that much more valuable than 4 years because of my title? By the way, I'm pretty confident that my occupation meets your stated definition of 'profession'. I receive monetary remuneration, and it is my vocational training as part of a permanent career. I'm not an amateur and it isn't my pastime. I called myself a professional rather than a student as I believe the difference to be splitting hairs given the con… | /r/MensRights | 19/05/13 08:34 PM |
| 1 | Facts about gender discrimination - infographic with sourcesMedical students are medical professionals. I graduate in a month. We gonna quibble about that? PS Your argument is so ad hominem, you forgot to include an argument. | /r/MensRights | 19/05/13 08:20 PM |
| 1 | Facts about gender discrimination - infographic with sourcesAs a medical professional myself, do you have anything other than anecdotal evidence to back up your offensive bullshit claim that we are institutionally sexist? | /r/MensRights | 19/05/13 07:29 PM |
| 2 | Peter Lloyd: 'Why I'm suing my gym over their sexist women-only hours' - Men told they can't use gym because women self loath their bodies and men make it worse.Just a thought: this could easily be a contributing aspect of the competition psychology. I mean, it's pretty rational when you think about it - women probably do judge each other because of men. Why else would they? It's called sexual selection. I know the thought process behind my reaction to meeting a better looking guy definitely involves women. EDIT: Assumed you were being sarcastic. If not, I'm just agreeing with you! | /r/MensRights | 20/04/13 09:26 AM |
| 2 | Man pokes holes in condom, man is charged with sexual assault; woman does effectively the same (takes sperm from used condom), man pays child supportYeah just... women do suffer much worse consequences of pregnancy than men! Sorry, I thought your point was that it was an equal burden. | /r/MensRights | 04/01/13 06:14 PM |
| 1 | Man pokes holes in condom, man is charged with sexual assault; woman does effectively the same (takes sperm from used condom), man pays child supportEr... where did I argue with any of that? Jesus. | /r/MensRights | 04/01/13 05:26 PM |
| -3 | Man pokes holes in condom, man is charged with sexual assault; woman does effectively the same (takes sperm from used condom), man pays child supportThat fucking bullshit is true. | /r/MensRights | 04/01/13 01:06 PM |
