Not every woman is completely in control over whether she gets pregnant or not. That is because there are two different things going on, there are less unplanned children, which would decrease unplanned parenthood for both sexes, but at the same time the state has tightened child support laws, especially with the increase of divorce. Still doesn't make comparable to forced pregnancy. Not paying taxes has the same consequences and we don't think paying taxes is a form of violence. It sucks, but I don't think we should be putting women down on a post about abortion laws to complain about child support laws. They are just very different things. When they mention forced motherhood they explicitly mean forcing a woman to continue the pregnancy, which you can see by the mention of abortion in the post. The counterpart for forced fatherhood is forcing a woman to keep a baby that she was going to give up for adoption. That was not the point I was trying to make. My point was that it is not that physical requirements aren't fair, but that we when set those requirements in place it of course leads to women not fulfilling them and not making it to combat positions. We can't nag that it is sexism against men because women are not in combat, when women are not allowed in combat. Finding out you have been tricked into pregnancy is a very good reason to not have a baby with that person any more. In my country at least it was also taught to me that women that murder receive a harsher sentence. For women it is a lot harder to commit murder because of the difference in our physical strength(we have no guns here). It is a women's issue. Because heart diseases are very different for women compared to men. We need separate research for both women and men for heart disease, because both the symptoms and treatment are different for both genders. This does not mean we should ignore men, but this is actually an issue where women are far behind because men were the only focus for studies. That is basically what I am saying. The symptoms for women really should be more known. Two years ago an aunt of a friend just felt nauseous and went to bed to never wake up. This year one of my aunts just inexplicably died. My dad also suffered from a heart disease, but we knew what was going on immediately so he's alright.

Some laws are really creepily set in the old ways layered in sexism to both genders. My mom still gets a hard time because she kept her maiden name. It was still not legal to take for parents to have their children take the mothers name a few years after I was born. This might be because women face an extra issue regarding heart diseases. With women they are much harder to detect because the symptoms don't show much, so many women die before even knowing that anything is wrong. With men the symptoms are much more noticeable so action can be taken sooner. This is why they need more awareness than men, not because anyone is claiming they are more important, but because they need it.
