Except she's not claiming she was assaulted by the men in question. She claims she was assaulted after all of that by a different person. She made this claim before it blew up on twitter. She called the police and family from the concert venue to come pick her up.

The bill tries to make it more difficult to get an abortion. If the woman is not sure of who the father is she has to submit to DNA testing. If the father can't be located? No abortion. This is just a new angle in a long line of attacks by anti-choice legislators.

This father's right aspect is just muddying the waters by attempting to hide the real intent of this bill. This is an anti-abortion bill. Women should not be forced to carry a fetus to term by anyone for any reason. The so called "financial abortion" is a totally different issue.

I'm not sure what you're talking about when you refer to equality. This is primarily about religious fundamentalists attempting to make a women's right to choose as difficult as possible. In lieu of being able to reverse Roe v's Wade, they're attempting a lateral attack.

Oh come on. Yes false accusations definitely happen. There are also cases where a rape occurred and it can't be proven in court. In Scotland for example, such cases might end up as "not proven" rather than "not guilty". What are the real percentages? I don't know, but to claim that someone being found not guilty means they definitely didn't do anything is just plain wrong. Do you also believe that OJ Simpson didn't commit murder simply because the jury thought so?

Umm, Glock's don't have safeties that can be turned off. The only external safety on a Glock is built into the trigger and it disengages as the trigger is pulled.

In the mainstream, an attack on feminism is seen as an attack on women. Men's Rights needs to avoid getting into "us vs them", a scenario that just ends up with the extremists on both sides screaming at each other. Advocacy pointing at very specific problems is much more effective.

I'm interested in the rights of Fathers, equality before the law for men and women and the abolition of stereotypes surrounding men and male sexuality etc. This sort of LOL WOMEN LOL FEMINISM stuff does little to help. Agreed, in the absence of better treatment options she's advocating the path that will cause the least harm to patients. This is exactly what a doctor should do. She's not saying prostate cancer in unimportant. She's not saying more work shouldn't be done on treating this cancer. What she is saying is that current treatment procedures outweigh the benefits. The figures she cites seem to back her up and she's responding at length to serious questions in the comments section
