I was trying to point out that our culture suffers more from estrogen hypnosis than others, by far. It's not the same across the board.

There are some MAGA who've developed a group identity similar to the Leftist collective identity, but as with the Tea Party, most of us are simply independent thinkers. Men don't whine because no one cares to solve problems for men, women whine because it's a successful strategy. I was talking to a young female relative who was explaining that women have it just as hard as men and I practically laughed in her face. I asked her if she was ever in a social setting and said or did something stupid …

As long as men compete for the privilege of providing favors for women there will be no change in those social norms. It's the servility to our lust and juvenile need for female validation that elevates women beyond their value.

Women live primarily by their emotions so while they may make a firm "rational" decision that will all dissipate when a powerful desire hits. So when they make these kinds of rules it usually means "until something better comes along".

A guy recently asked what he could do to shake up his life. I recommended he pursue the hottest chick he could and his life would be shaken up if he got her ... or if he didn't.

I think it's more about knowing the circumstances wherein you might have more or less confidence. Also it may be confident to share your thinking with strangers (for example), but it can also be stupid (I've learned that from experience).

Because feminism developed control of the supply the price of women has soared and provided her with greater leverage. I recommend to young men to seek non-American women or pious women rather than mgtow.

Everything has a price, the ambition and determination it takes to get to the top typically costs one's personal life. Besides the journey itself, being on top mean every other ambitious and determined soul is seeking to unseat you so it's damn nigh impossible to trust anyone. When you're at the top you have no peers, just competition. But really that's just an admonition to people who aren't their own best friend to begin with, people who need others to validate them, comfort them, and normaliz…

I've given this idea a great deal of thought in the past but I love my independence too much. When I drive I hate being stuck behind other cars, I've also find I don't appreciate people behind me. But if this isn't a problem for you ... go for it.

He ascribes European success to a happy accident which is a very Leftist position. While access to resources is beneficial it was mainly the industry inherent to the Europeans that lead to their success. That industry was a byproduct of two primary elements: A fundamental social trust not found in other cultures, and a natural motivation sparked by the adversity of the Ice Age as well as constant conflict. I'm not saying the Europeans are inherently superior or that they are without flaws, they …

I remember reading his article on ebonics in 1995 which was, imo, ridiculous and when this book came out I took a perfunctory look at it and it struck me the same. But overall I have no trust in the mediocrities of academia to inform me on any important issue.

That's the kind of contempt for common sense I get from Diamond who writes as if his woke gaslighting is reality or the Pulitzer who's been kowtowing to Left-wing orthodoxy for decades. That you people pretend your exposure to refined brainwashing has made you more educated is a tragedy.

This is true for the most part. One should first examine the ways they could be at fault before laying blame elsewhere, this onus will help you grow. This is one of the fundamental aspects of manhood, to own his world and improve himself before demanding change in others.

My assessments are correct. Your first response to OP was to tell me how you would have preferred I present it. When I politely declined your generous offer you got increasingly hostile and critical. When someone overreacts to minor but reasonable criticism with a full on display of juvenile defensiveness they're likely ill equipped to offer mature relationship advice and it also indicates a likelihood of nothing but failed relationships. Some people are predisposed to control, as I'd mentioned above, and tend to turn all interaction into a power contest. My advice is to avoid both thin skinned and controlling types, unless you're into that sort of thing.
/r/TheRedPill09/05/21 04:53 AM

Now I'm confused. If you were scratching the surface with valid criticism that's what I responded to. If you were doing so with bullshit then it's just bullshit. Which was it?

That's not true at all. Validating someone 100% is idiotic. The reiterate: This is simply a process to determine where she's going to go if you fail to go along with her on something. Simple, really - no need to overthink it.

Thank you for your interest but I'm not going to provide specifics for good reasons. #1 the variety and dynamic of relationships vary widely with each one having unique qualities. #2 I don't imagine there's a male alive who's old enough to ejaculate that doesn't have a small arsenal of criticisms and confrontational ideas. What I will do is address levels of adversity. Herself is sacred and direct criticism there is generally going to be taken as blasphemy ... don't do that. Family is going to b…

What you call "sexism" is a natural sense of distinction between the sexes but we only usually notice it when dealing with women's because we care about their feelings. You know why women complain so much? Because people pay attention and reward the behavior ... no one gives a fuck when men complain and that hasn't changed in eons. There's a tiny and dwindling sect of feminism that believes this is a problem, that women are catered to too much and it makes women more dependent ... go figure!

Short explanation: Chicks are not generally willing to assume the risk of rejection which speaks to their primary natural motivation: preening. Furthermore, the ancient game of chase in early courtship is designed (unconsciously) to force the male to take 100% responsibility for the relationship. The plot of the chase is simple: He wants it, she doesn't and he has to convince her. It's this process that psychologically removes all responsibility for consequences from the woman's mind. This is wh…

I've generally been pretty close to lower class, even homeless for awhile and I've never been much motivated by money yet only when I suffered unrequited love was I miserable (lead to the homelessness). It's true that women are far more attracted by a fat wallet and I was surprised to find that the cliché about women and expensive sports cars is true (when I owned a BMW). Miss a point much? While it's true that most men aren't given to self examination, such a thing is exceedingly rare for women as they tend to prefer to just blame everything on men. It's different than the issue of external responsibility but of self accountability which speaks to the question of women's reliability (in general) in any area. We have given women a pass since forever and they've certainly never stepped up to it - they don't need to.

I was just responding to a fellow who commented that he got seriously downvoted on a dating app because he mentioned he follows Jordan Peterson. My response was that he would have gotten the same kind of response if he'd said he's looking for a woman interested in critical self examination, which for women tends to be a process of determining which men or man to blame for her problems.

I was just thinking about this yesterday, how women appear to prefer narcissistic men. My first wife was enthralled with my narcissism but many girlfriends were as well. The "not looking thirsty", btw, is the definition of "cool" which is idiomatic for the opposite of needy and suggests wealth, intelligence, emotional stability, and status.

Furthermore, the inherent latent lesbianism in feminism seeks to drive a wedge between men and women. My strategy in such cases is to simply confront her head on, let her know you're not buying it and you're certainly not going to manipulated so easily. It works with most women (many of whom respect it) and for the rest - too delusional to deal with anyway. Anytime you exceed their set of trained response you get the advantage because she's ill equipped to play games she hasn't been trained in.

About 30 years ago I started noticing the hypocrisy of feminism and that realization slowly evolved into a full on censure of the Left and a deeper understanding of female nature. For many years I was mocked and scorned from all sides, both men and women, but now I'm pleased that many are waking up to the radically altered female persona. As a old geezer and long out of the market I may not recognize contemporary dynamics but there are some things that generally hold true. Women's "truth" is an …

I suppose that explanation can be used anytime you sap someone else's confidence. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for seeing the young toughen up and tend toward honest, if harsh, responses ... but the way you cast his inquiry as "asking permission" seemed like plain old humiliation.

It depends on the source and depth of their insecurity. If their insecurity has to do with a bad parental relationship (for example) there's nothing to be done but move on because you're only just a proxy for the bad parent. If the insecurity comes from a recent traumatic life event it may just require nurturing her back to a state of confidence and who know how long that could take. I'm sure you think you do, but even the notion of "concrete understanding" betrays a doctrinal or dogmatic perspective with a certain amount of pedantry. You're obsessed over a minor cosmetic alteration and to justify it reduce deep religious belief to triviality. You may not be anti-semitic, but you are intellectually vapid using reductionist arguments to bolster your own poor position.

Don't give me that "I'm an engineer" shit, I've know highly educated men in the sciences who can't think rationally when it comes to human, social issues. My argument is very simple, again: Circumcision is a minor cosmetic surgery that, for the Jews, represents a deep ancient connection to their "God" and each other. To even call it "mutilation" is hyperbolic.

From Amazon: We live in a society that condemns pedophiles. Our evolution and biology have throughout history created cultures where what would today be called Pedophilia has passed without note. Presenting the testimony of both victims and perpetrators, we look at how media and science apply different definitions to Pedophilia. Could it be considered a sexuality? Are All Men Pedophiles? The headline is sensationalistic, it's more an examination of pedophelia.

Tiered pricing is often reasonable. Bars have "Ladies Night" because more women attract more big spenders. What isn't reasonable is when the product is entirely unconnected to the customer's sex and has nothing to do with profits. In this case, it a social event where they want more, ostensibly single women. I've got no problem with that.

You start by making a false assumption base on zero evidence. This makes me suspect that your "thinking" is largely guided by confirmation bias and you lack the necessary intellectual skills to even attempt and investigation into the truth. Are you a woman? (No, one was a woman I knew, the other 9 or so were complete strangers.)

How does it not follow that if mass killings are a male thing that maleness should be looked at with suspicion? The point here is that such a claim points at maleness which includes all men and it fails to reduce the parameter to anything remotely close to the target question. In fact why not look at human beings, is it not possible that women are an influence in this at all? I think the article is specifically steering people away from that possibility, intentionally or not. But the question po…

Well that's the practical reason to require the maturation of boys. Unfortunately the awesome wealth of the US seems to mean no consequences for failure and seeking a life of pure self serving convenience becomes like a holy quest.

I can sympathize coming from a single-mother home in a Leftist community in a Leftist city in a Leftist state. Never had to think for myself, it was all prefab and it was like ego welfare so I lapped it up. But that's an interesting point about suicide, as long as women have men to blame they don't have to blame themselves. Personally I suspect the difference is that women have an inherent value in society and men don't. It's been said that suicide attempts tend to by a cry for attention so I'm …

So you've noticed the knee-jerk reaction to protect women (because they're equal?). What they don't seem to get is that the criticism isn't a hatred or even dislike of women, it's just observations that many women tend to have different strategies and priorities than men do. Glad you managed to get back in.

I call that effect "estrogen hypnosis" which is rooted in the male psyche having an internal archetype of woman connect to the feeling of "what I love." As for women, they have the XX chromosome which is like two mirrors offset and facing each other creating the illusion of the infinite ... it manifests as narcissism. Growing up in the 70's when 2nd wave feminism was just getting it legs there was a constant refrain about the "male ego" it was much later that I realized this was due to their own…

I'm not sure exactly what you mean but suspect you're observing that women have their own interests distinct from ostensible social interests. This has always been true and one of the reasons we've referred to "woman's mystery" ... we're getting played. Certainly this isn't the case for all women, but I suspect it occurs at a higher rate than male crime.

This whole discussion of women raping men is generally misguided and should be expanded to address the larger dynamics. Forceful rape is overwhelmingly a male act, women have cunning. Because men tend to be naive and susceptible to women's sexual appeal, women use a seduction strategy to entrap men into relationships that is not unlike an extended form of employing date rape and roofies. I'd never understood why a hooker's job was called "turning tricks" but I suspect it's because women are as a…

Makes sense to me, when ~ .00000001% of an identifiable population engages in antisocial behavior that's condemned by the other 99.9999999% it's only natural to look at that population with suspicion. I want to take a moment to applaud the Washington Post for such groundbreaking clarity.

The early "intellectual" stage of feminism shaped by Betty Friedan was to copy and appropriate the male persona as exemplified by the privileged college male of the early 60's. They wanted women to be considered indistinct from men, well young privileged men anyway.

The reality is that Western women are especially used to privilege, so much so that they take it for granted. Women have always had a full set of rights and a preponderance of privilege, just not the same rights as men.

The prioritization of women's needs in a healthy society is fairly universal for a few reasons. Feminism has been battling against this with little success, partly because they're not seeking independence in ernest - that's much more a masculine trait. But it is true that labelling men as "toxic" suggests a hostile position. One of the basic tenets of feminist belief is that men are the problem, helping to explain why they hate people like Jordan Peterson. And women have never been inclined to g…

Nah, I think the way it works is that men don't show emotions because no one cares, and why should they - there's nothing more selfish than one's emotions. Additionally an increased emotional state directly mitigates rationality, a quality in high demand from men. As for "toxic masculinity" it's been bred and selected by certain women who prefer a strong representative who takes what they want, but sometimes they can't control it.

When I was taking college courses back in '95 I befriended a techie and we started socializing and I was sharing with him my generally conservative political views. I was invited to his apartment and met his huge Dutch girlfriend and thought she was nice. Shortly thereafter Jim told me we couldn't be friends anymore because his gf said so. I ran across them in public shortly after that and they acted like they didn't know me. I've since realized that the absence of male dominance isn't equality,…

The empowerment of deranged women is why the 19th Amendment is possibly the biggest mistake the US has ever made. This isn't to say that some women aren't decent, capable human beings but it speaks more to the fact that there has never been one institution in our culture whose primary goal was to teach girls principles. Go back as far as you want worldwide, I don't think any culture ever tried to inculcate its females with principles and that general lack of principles is manifesting and spreadi…

Are you looking for anecdotal evidence or provable evidence? I've been falsely accused of sexual harassment three different times and suffered consequences. About twenty years ago I read an article in the newspaper where the researchers concluded that women were more likely to initiate violence in a domestic dispute. Many years ago I read that Gloria Allred stated "If a woman makes an accusation, it's true." This kind of royal privilege ca…
