No, my partner meets all those standards and more. I am late 20’s, attractive, fit, appear younger, am highly educated, can cook, come from a good family, no baggage, have a good support circle and am religious (with boundaries). Sometimes I think I’m too good for him, but actually we balance each other out quite well. In short your standards aren’t too high if you can meet them yourself. I have considered/been told I have high standards, but the men I date tend to meet those standards. There ar…

Just to add, lip fillers don’t fully dissolve they actually migrate to other parts of the face. New studies have been conducted to prove it can still be there even 8 years later. You know that poofy look you see in people that get a lot of filler? Yeah don’t do it.

Just in response to your second point, I reject feminism because it’s not consistent and the common goal of the third wave is lost, unlike the first and second. Also cannot stand the extremists.

Oops, sorry misread! Maybe it’s a case of people come here to fix thier problems not to talk about their success. I don’t really know.

Because it’s a self fulfilling prophecy, people with low self esteem don’t know their worth. Thus they date worthless/unworthy men who confirm what they already tell themselves OR date men who treat them terribly because they don’t feel that they can do better.

Long blunt cut braids during summer, wigs with blowouts during winter. But the aim is to grow out my 4c hair and go natural.

Before 16 I had no style but wore a lot of black. Mostly had braids. Did not know how to do makeup. 17/18 cheap labels like Abercrombie or hollister plus Jeans, I was focused on my studies. Not particularly interested in dresses/skirts or being feminine at this time. Changed to weave, wore minimal makeup. 19-21 uni, very alternative very skimpy outfits, I wouldn’t say particularly feminine. More hippy, lots of second hand/vintage shopping. 21-23/4 started office work, I became a bit more feminin…

I doubt you’ve become well versed in the hr you’ve been lurking here. Also I wouldn’t say my comment was typically RP, I answer most questions from a psychological perspective, a combination of scientific and anecdotal evidence. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt to a degree, especially with something as sensitive as an engagement ring. There are many polarised ideas on its meaning and worth.

I will admit wanting it just so everyone else can be impressed is questionable but it doesn’t mean all the other assumptions you have about her are true. I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with wanting a flashy ring, especially if the price for the man is completely affordable/actually not much at all. I think it’s completely fair to want something you love when you’re going to wear it everyday for the rest of your life. It actually is traditional for a ring to signify how much a ma…

I understand your reasoning but it doesn’t change the result. Better to keep those numbers low than to sit there and argue that there are lots of other little factors unaccounted for. For example, every one knows girls growing up without fathers tend to become sexually actively sooner that girls who had fathers. Girls with attachment difficulties or unstable homes also have more partners. There’s speculation as to why this is, but regardless why should anyone aspire to the result of something ne…

What you’ve written isn’t mothering, that’s the very basics of caring for your partner. Mothering your partner is nagging, ordering them around, treating them like they don’t know what they’re doing, not respecting them as a leader or undermining their choices. It’s perceiving them as less competent than you followed by attempts to grow them into something else, these attempts come across as mothering. It’s not a woman’s responsibility to help a man grow, she’s there for support. The man should …

Like everyone else is saying, I read the first paragraph and thought what a waste of time. She has posted the same question about 5 times in the last 7 days. I don’t think she’ll take our advice.

Can confirm, I’m working towards doubling my salary but it’s still not much compared to my partner well beyond 6 figures. I’ve been red pilled longer than I realised it was ‘a thing’. He adores me more than he has any other woman, he is my captain.

I’ve watched my friends lead blue pill lives full of promiscuity, liberalism and man hating. I saw the result of those decisions (stress, pain, depression, anxiety). I’ve read the results of numerous peer reviewed studies into marriage longevity, the benefits of chastity etc. in short it’s all very red pill. Before I came to a conclusion about the above and what I needed, I was close to marrying a beta guy. Despite him being nice, I wasn’t happy couldn’t quite understand why. Eventually when I t…

Black and RPW, my culture and knowledge of psychology is what leads me to believe in RPW and date high profile men. Nothing to do with the fact that ‘I’m black’.

As someone who’s waiting till marriage, men tend to tell me it’s one man before the big day. That one being them. Most don’t want to wait these days, but I imagine an acceptable number is usually anything lower than theirs.

When dating the kind of guys I do, the difference between a high and low n count depended on how many times they said yes to the opportunity and how traditional they were. The guy with around 100 started well but changed after a few months, I left him. Before me he’d only had 2 ex’s. I’m waiting till marriage so there was no way for him to ‘play’ me.

My last ex was at 16, the one before him over 100 (partially due to fame and women throwing themselves at him). It doesn’t really bother me, what matter is how they treat me. Edit: but I’d prefer it to be under 20. The guys that I date tend to be pretty attractive so I can’t expect them to have said no to everyone

I think you've defined the reasoning behind the issue I'm having right now. I'm currently building my career, and in a couple of years should be able to earn more than triple my current income. However, currently I work a job the requires very little qualifications (despite having an MSc) just to get experience. I attract very physically attractive men who are within the middle-income bracket knowing that in the future I'd be more suited to a upper middle income man. I come from household that i…

Yeah, my sister is the one that taught me that. She always dresses effortlessly. So I’ve started donating anything that’s looks over worn, and investing in cute PJs/lounge wear. If you do get the microblading done make sure you do lots of research. You don’t want to be stuck with a bad pair of brows 🙊

I think it’s always a good idea to invest in your own natural beauty. So, buy what you need to have clear skin, maintain a daily/nightly routine. Eat healthily to help your skin glow. If your eyebrows are sparse consider microblading. If your skin is very uneven, consider visiting a beauty salon that can help to improve those areas. Make sure your laziest outfit is still cute. I’ve learned if you don’t have ugly clothes in the house you won’t wear them. In the past I met most of my partners for …

As someone who fits into that bracket, I completely agree with you in terms of not having respect for a man who doesn’t have an equal/higher IQ. It’s not something I thought would be important to me initially. It was far down in the list of things I considered absolutely necessary. However, after falling in love with someone and losing all respect for them for this reason (among others), it appears as though I’ll have to raise my standards again. Thank you for your insight :)

That’s such a broad question, you’d have to be more specific. But in short a man who has his life together and won’t cave at the slightest mishap. There are quite a few things I want but nothing I don’t have myself (highly qualified, physically fit, emotionally stable etc.) . I want to date my equal.

I’m 25 and have also left a LTR for similar reasons. Also on a similar journey to you and trying to work on myself so I don’t fall into an old routine. Will save this post as I believe any suggestions will be useful. And yeah, if you’d like to message more to talk/hold each other accountable I’d be up for that

My skin is pretty good so I only conceal a little under my eyes and fill in my eyebrows. I would go to the gym with that face, food shopping or just down the road. To see friends between 12-7 I’ll wear powder and lightly contour. My clothing would be sort of fashionable but well put together. Would probably wear a tried and tested outfit. Seeing friends after 7 or dating I’ll wear a full face of makeup with foundation contour and show some skin. Would aim to dress quite fashionably.

Just type in a chef that you like into YouTube and you’ll find what you need. E.g. Gordon Ramsey, Jamie Oliver etc. Type the recipe into google/YouTube and someone will have a video tutorial of them making it. Start watching cooking shows to know what good cooking looks like (e.g. master chef) and bad cooking (e.g. come dine with me). Learning when it comes to cooking is all about care and repetition. Learn when something appears or tastes undercooked or overcooked. Learn when food tastes bland …

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it, but why not consider a stay at home job? Such as becoming a landlord for some property or looking into online work? That’s my plan for when I have kids, I won’t need to leave the house but money will keep coming in even if it’s not as much as a full time salary. Also all of my qualifications can be freelance if I choose, so I’d be able to work as much of as little as I want and still make time to focus on the kids.

Fomo, interesting, I’ve never thought of it that way. I think it’s more of an ego thing though, I honestly think I just like the attention (I know I shouldn’t). And yeah, i feel like being with my ex pushed me into a more masculine role due to him not stepping up, so I’m trying to reclaim who I was before I met him. That will take time. I have a little bit of fear about being ‘25’ and still single, but I know it shouldn’t matter really. I will take time for myself and use the ‘just got out of a …

Yeah probably 😂, but I want to come from a place of abundance or indifference about the outcome (being whether we get into a relationship or not). But I’m thinking I should still feel abundant even if I’m not talking to anyone else. I should be happy on my own I guess.

I didn’t really buy things, just took stuff I had laying around that he said he needed (didn’t clarify that to him though that it was all free). Regardless I will no longer even do that, need to reel it all in. I like splashing out on people too much.

Yeah will see, feel like I really should take a step back from making anything but new friends. Never started been ‘friends’ with a guy I found attractive, so this’ll be something new I do. I know this page recommends it.

Thank you, yeah it’ll take time. Didn’t even think about the idea of falling in love again until now, and it freaks me out. I’m more emotionally unavailable than I previously thought.

Thank you so much for your in depth response :), I appreciate tough love. Just to clarify my ex lost his job 1 year into us being together and 3 months into beginning that new job. Hmm, yes I see what you mean by feelings for multiple men. You’re right about not being vulnerable with any of them. I wish I new all this incompatible stuff before and how important it was. I’ll use it to screen potentials from now on. We never had sex, I’m saving myself. I know I have walls, and it’s something I’m w…

What I want out of relationship is someone I can build an empire with. Someone I can help, support and watch grow. I want him to be spiritually stronger than me and a leader in that respect. Someone who I can go to if I lose it or get a bit lost in my pursuits (I'm a little all over the place in the number of things I want to achieve in life so I need someone stable.) Someone I can share special moments with and trust. Someone who fully accepts me and I accept them for who they are. I also want …

My reasoning behind dating more than one guy is not putting all my eggs in one basket. I decide not to get too emotionally involved because I know people very well, I can see many pitfalls before they happen e.g. he’s got a player history so not much point he’ll probably not invest in me, he doesn’t keep his word so don’t expect him to be reliable in the future, he’s a flirt so don’t expect him to suddenly choose you from all his options. I’m just very rational about things. What I said to this …

That’s really good advice, thank you so much! I am on ‘Christian websites’ which I’m already a bit embarrassed about. I am more active in church and in my faith as of the past few months. I’m trying to expand my group of religious friends thinking I’ll eventually meet a prospect. My type is pretty rare to come across in the church so I just need to believe ‘he’ exists I guess. Also what does HV mean?

I have combination skin. Quite literally I wake up shower, put on face moisturiser. Wash my face before bed. I take berry capsules for my skin and they've worked a charm. I make an effort to have at least 1 cup of ginger and lemon tea every day, I drink a lot of water and I almost never have break outs now. Before I was using a strong astringent but I don't even need it anymore.
