You're still taking the time to build rapport and trust with these women by taking a few days to text them before asking them out. This definitely gives you a better shot at a date then asking someone random out immediately (because going out with a total stranger can be a bit intimidating), but doesn't drag you through weeks of communication that could be summed up in one date.
