| -1 | Is there a reason learning different languages is not emphasized or are we possibly overlooking a beneficial tool?Sorry but saying learning languages is a hobby is an insult to anyone who has made it their job - yes, I earn money teaching and learning languages - GASP. Also how is learning another language NOT learning social skills? Beyond that the best reason to study languages is interculturality.
