15	Adios! In our court we have an Intervention in lieu of Conviction program, which is what this sounds like. Essentially, first time offenders have an opportunity to get help with their addiction instead of having their case go to trial. The trade off is that the offender has to plead guilty to get into the program. If you successfully complete the program, and most do, that guilty plea is torn up and your whole case dismissed. If you do not complete the program- well you already entered a guilty plea.	/r/PussyPassDenied	01/10/15 04:21 AM
