"This sort of violence" Are you saying that you support other forms of violence against people?

I was listing the reasons why it was wrong, so no.

Haha, love the reference. Yeah, I work in service industry, don't fuck with people working an entry level job just trying to pay bills. I said they were douches, but if you need clarity on the issue, attacking someone with no say in the operations of a company, who might not even be aware of the shady shit the company is doing and is definitely not profiting off of it is wrong.

I like your assessment and your outlook on karma. Thanks for reminding me.

If they're getting completely free product to sell, no taxes, government funding, and built in contracts, and pay millions to presidents and officers, I think they can pay minimum wage. At $4 an hour, when profit margins are that ridiculous, they're just taking advantage of people with disabilities. I get what you're saying, it's just gross that it happens.

Fair enough, I saw that I was getting downvoted for offering an explanation and got a little defensive. Probably time for me to put reddit down for a bit 🤔

Yeah, that's pretty much what I said. Dude asked a question, I answered to the best of my knowledge. Not quite sure how you came to any other conclusion, quite frankly.

I can't speak for these people, they sound like douches, but Goodwill has a dark history of profiting off of developmentally disabled people, paying them $4 an hour. If you combine that with the fact that it's a non profit yet the branch presidents get millions of dollars for a salary, selling merchandise they don't have to pay for, not paying taxes because non profit, collect state funding, and get built in state contracts they kind of seem like dicks. Just Google Goodwill scandal, there's quit…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
