Australia is the only place I know of that bans circumcision, and that only in public hospitals, getting it done in private hospitals is apparently fine. Seems to be about not wanting public funds expended on unnecessary procedures.

I've had my kindness and compassion used far too often to not keep it to myself until they have showed themselves capable of giving too. Sure it'll mean I lose out on some friendships every now and again, but it has been a pretty big improvement on my life.

To expand upon that: Very few MRA's have a problem with the stated goals of Feminism, it's the theory and actions it takes that ruffles a lot of feathers here. Personally I hold that Feminism harms men and women, and has done so for a long time. I personally think we need a few men's rights movements, a few women's rights movements and a variety of other gender, sex and race equality movements to keep eachother informed and in check rather than one big equality movement. That leaves room for 'self correction' rather than ending up as we have now with feminism monopolizing the narrative.

We have very different impressions of what's going on in this thread. Reading it I see a handful of posters being offensive, and all of the rest are either open to you or cautious. Keep in mind that a man/boy retaliating or defending themselves in any way is likely going to end up in court at the very least. I've heard of women using the threat of accusing the victim of rape to rape them. It becomes a question not of whether you want your life ruined, but how. Add to that the confusion of being in a situation that you've been told essentially your entire life that you 'should' like, 'should' want, that 'it's your lucky break'.. and you don't want it.

Teach people (regardless of gender and age), if they'll listen, to be source-critical, that how studies and surveys are conducted says more than the numbers themselves. Teach people about how statistics work and can be skewed, and that the numbers left out may be just as important to the issues discussed as those shown.
