Yeah JBP is one of the humblest guys. I try to take his advice in all my interactions: "Assume that the person you're talking to might know something you don't". Have come away from many conversations better off thanks to that wisdom

I'm pretty proficient with React, but I wouldn't say my design instincts are up to snuff. Given a wireframe of what we want it to look like, I could help make it happen. Hmu with a link when we have an open-source project and I'll take a look. Given that it seems like this project is just an online posterboard, I don't see the need for a Node developer? But maybe I'm missing some part of what this project is

The only problem is, sometimes I'm worried I smell bad. And I'm pretty sure I don't know anyone well enough that they'd tell me

I know what sub we're in but just wanted to point out that fat guys often have the same attitude. Though I agree that there's a double standard in that society is way more fat-positive towards women than men. Hard to say which gender is affected more negatively by that standard- the ones who are ridiculed for being overweight, or the ones who are encouraged to be overweight.

I was honestly so impressed that he was still totally respectful and chill to all the other customers, while still staying in control of the situation. He was clearly trained well as a security guard.

Haha I meant after diapers. Obviously you need to change the kid's diaper whether he's circumcised or not :P

I wouldn't have wanted my dad to have to wash off my dick when I was a kid! And every story I hear about a guy who has some nasty yeast infection or something down there is from an uncircumcised dude.

You're missing my point, and I believe you're doing so on purpose. The reason I wouldn't have chosen to be circumcised as an adult isn't that being uncircumcised is better. The reason is that it's a painful and expensive surgery as an adult, so if you're going to get it done at all, it's clearly preferable to get it done as an infant. As for the reason why, I'm going to have my kids circumcised because it's easier to keep it clean, among other reasons. That's more than reason enough, because it'…

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I think that realistically, leaving your child uncircumcised is as permanent as circumcising him. I can see that for some reason, you guys hate the idea that there are two valid states for a penis to be in, but I don't think it's any crueler to circumcise a kid than to require them to have to go through that ordeal when they get older, if they want a circumcision. The 'option' of getting a circumcision later in life isn't really an option at all.

I think you're missing my point. I commonly hear the argument that you should let your kid decide himself whether he wants to be circumcised when he's old enough. But I'm saying that even if he did want to be circumcised, there are many reasons why he might not actually go through with the procedure: primarily pain and money. Whether there's an actual reason to get the circumcision is immaterial, though circumcision does reduce risk of infection, so there's a reason right there.

As another circumcised and proud guy, I know for sure that I would never have chosen to get circumcised as an adult, for obvious reasons. It kinda ticks me off for people to say you should just let the kid decide when he gets old enough, because it's really not that simple.

There should be some badge system or something where if you're wearing a badge you're okay with girls getting in your personal space. I would wear a badge.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
