If that's the case I'm curious if single mothers raising boys is mostly the result of men being screwed over by the legal system. Because I don't doubt that there's a bias - I just wonder if you can apply that to the majority of cases of boys being raised by single mothers. I wonder if there are statistics or information reflecting that.

I have a genuine question - not an argument but more of a need to understand, since I see this post a lot: Would we not attribute the fact that boys are mostly raised by women to the additional fact that men are often the ones leaving families? Whether it's through divorce, abandonment, neglect or various other reasons? Isn't that the problem being argued here that men aren't present for their sons? So I understand the statistic of boys mostly being raised by female figures. However, isn't that …

Pro tip: if you're the waste of human scum that does the unbelievable act of HITTING ON PEOPLE WHILE THEY'RE AT WORK I will be the one to pass judgement and you will be punished. How dare you do this to someone AT WORK. I will now sentence you to potential harassment. .......... This mindset of "revenge for hitting on me" is truly mind boggling. There's no excuse other than being a shitty human. Sorry this happened

Thanks for being direct about it. This is a helpful read, and you're absolutely right about action over research. Mark Manson happens to have a book about not giving a fuck... should probably look into that. And then stop obsessing over looking into stuff. Sage advice, man. Thanks again

Lol has this seriously been removed from Shower Thoughts twice? Can't let any of those double standards or discrimination against men show. That might discredit the feminist stance, and we can't have that. Lol I'm fucking "triggered" over here

Nothing you said made any sense in reference to my comment. I'm saying some of the comments here would rather nitpick this post rather than appreciate her support of equal rights, rather than joining Feminism or Mens Rights Movement.

Some of the comments here make me kind of understand why some Feminists think we're whiny and pathetic. Why can't we just notice something like this and go "right on, progress is being made"

Guess I'm reading it wrong. Seems as though that quote describes the entire theme of the book. Pretty sure this book also includes the phrase, "violence doesn't have a race, a class, a religion, or a nationality, but it does have a gender". Idk, Fengpi's comment seems to sum it up pretty well.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
