I have a deployment coming up next year for nine months. I’ll leave a single man, come back a single man, and live the rest of my life a single man. It’s a breath of fresh air, knowing that I’ll come back to my home and belongings exactly how I left them, with just my family to worry about. MGTOW.

Exactly. And dude, I feel you with the bike/car photos people were posting for a while. It was a nice breath of fresh air. Being red-pilled is a dark reality, especially when you realize that you’re alone. A heavy by-product of this awareness is complete self accountability, whether we like it or not. It’s a burden to carry sometimes. Thing is, you can see the real tragedy very clearly among people like us, in our own online community, even darker than the truths themselves. People went so far a…

It’s cute and funny when it’s a child says these things but in reality he already knows on some basic level that marriage is poison. Yet, older people who say the same shit get scrutinized and isolated for not buying into the hive-mind. When he gets to be a teenager and young adult, hopefully he’ll be smart enough to keep these things to himself and hide in plain sight for his own good.

Doesn’t bother me. I can’t imagine caring enough to make a big deal out of it. If it persists then I’d do something about it.

It’s okay to feel the way you do, and it’s cool to express yourself and be who you are with her. Allow yourself to feel and be close to her, but don’t be dependent on her in any way and don’t allow her to cross your boundaries. Do not compromise for pussy, and minimize your vulnerability. Remind yourself that you’re one of many - it’s only your turn. What you have now will eventually end. You get to choose how to prepare yourself for the inevitable. Orient your mind to accept the reality of how …

Ugh. I’m in the guard and actually just got back from drill weekend a few hours ago. ...Just when I thought I could get away from it all, if only for a few days.

Spoke my mind. I just don’t have the time or energy for that shit. It’s superficial. After months of cutting all the bullshit out, I’m left with one brother who actually gives a shit (it’s mutual). My one bud, who shares the MGTOW mindset, is worth a million times more than literally every other acquaintance I’ve met. Eventually, these people stop looking for your attention, and you’re left with peace and reality.

In what way are we losers? The only thing I’ve lost is the desire to pursue women. All that I have to show after my time as MGTOW are steady wins in every aspect of my life.

I’ve been looking into starting Krav Maga this year. Why do you think it’s horseshit?

I likely dodged a situation like yours. I caught the interest of a girl during the summer last year and we got to talking. She constantly brought up her recent ex-boyfriend and spoke about coworkers who pursued her in an apparently creepy manner. I’d see text threads of multiple dudes, including her ex who’d she speak to in my presence. I ghosted after fucking her the first time. I started to realize that I was her rebound. In her actions, I saw more and more evidence of the truths we speak abou…

Nah, that shit looks try-hard. Natural arm distance is best

Head level to the ground. Chin tucked in slightly, or slightly raised up. I find that it’s easier to make eye contact with a level head. Shoulders back and chest out. Arms by your sides, a few inches away from body to take up more space. Keep a firm core and try to be vertical. Don’t lean too forward or backward. Legs shoulder width apart. Take slow strides that are proportional in length to the size of your body. It’s very important to walk upright, with your head up.

Agreed, I thought it was really good. A lot of the statistics were pretty chilling. It was interesting to see that she was able to face the facts and eventually disassociate from feminism but still felt hesitant to fully agree with MRAs. Much of what she believed was torn apart by her study and she started to see feminism for what it was. Her personal experiences were apparently congruent with some of the struggles feminists claim they face which I think is why it was that much harder for her to…

I can relate to that, been there brother. Rock bottom is a shit place, but it’s only up from there. It sounds cliche because it is, but it’s true. Any amount of effort you put in going forward contributes to your success and comfort. If you can create the energy to get the ball rolling, you’ll soon look back and wonder why you didn’t start sooner. I’m rooting for you. Also, holy shit, that’s a lot of money. I had no idea therapy was so expensive; I’ve considered it myself.

You can definitely get into that. Networking and security is pretty badass. You’re actually the first person I’ve heard consider that tech career. And agreed, wishful thinking. I’m not sure if I’d rather be ignorant to it all and content or informed and weary.

Interesting. After having that kid and being in relationships with single mothers, he still isn’t wise enough to see that people have their own ideas of what being a man is. His argument is that MGTOWs are selfish, yet selfish is one of the words I’d call someone who expected everyone to live life according to their standards.

Maybe the phrases are in that order because they sound more fluid that way. If only feminists could live their own lives as well as they bend reality to compliment their arguments.

I’m not sure if that’s something to be proud of, but it is something to see for what it is, objectively. You don’t need women to please yourself sexually, at all. Good sex is fantastic, but no girl has ever been able to bring me to the point I’ve brought myself to. There are so many fun, intense ways to stimulate yourself to an earth shattering orgasm if you’re willing to experiment. Trust me, try out some toys and pick up poppers from the sex shop.

I’ve tried this before. For as long as I could keep up that frame of mind it worked, but I kept defaulting back to my natural confidence level, which is pretty low. I struggled with trying to find balance between being absolutely self certain (which felt like some sort of try-hard lie) and modestly confident, in what I thought was a more humble, reasonable attitude. I’m still too dependent on opinions and aware of the possibility of being labeled an asswipe, and I’m working on that. To be honest…

You should explain why you think MGTOWs and incels are retards. Otherwise, good post.

That book was deep. The title doesn't do it justice, and I wasn't prepared for such a good read.

A good man is self sufficient and supportive of the people who matter to him. He's humble, realistic, empathetic, honest and respectful. A good man's inner strength radiates from within his core and is recognized by everyone he interacts with. His resilience to adversity and willingness to assist others keeps him humble, and others close.

Good information OP. Smiling genuinely at appropriate times works wonders. I've been making an effort to relax my face and look less intense and irritated. Today I maintained a relatively relaxed expression and people reacted to me in a more positive manner. It's possible to be stoic and pleasant.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
