Don't forget, if he's in any way a gamer, he's also a mysogynist that expects his wife to take care of him like a child. My favorites are when the husband works 50+ hours a week to take care of his family and wants to relax during the evening and they treat the woman staying at home with the kids like she has it soooo much harder than the dad. My wife is a stay at home mom and she agrees 100% with Bill Burr on this. Any job you can do in your pajama isn't a difficult job. But according to the fe…

Aita is a place of insane double standards. I see it everyday. It's sad cause I really like the stories, but as a man, never take their critiques without a whole lot of grains of salt.

Exactly this. I had a 'sociology' class in Uni and the teacher was responsible for critiquing our methods and questions. We had 5 very open ended questions we could extrapolate anythinf from and she approved them because they were all woke pc feminist bs. Shit like "are women paid less then men" Conclusion : 99% of people polled believe women are financially discriminated for the same work. We got a 100% on our assignment. I was baffled. I had let my colleagues run wild because they were angry K…

In my experience? Most schools are filled with womtn and 1-2 tokrn men depending on the size of the school. Omen are incredibly sexist, just like thr chauvinistic boys clubs, they are even worse whrn they know they can get away with it. Unlike men, they also have a huge in-group favorable bias. Do the math and it makes sense.

Except "attmpts" get attention. Girl takes two aspirins then texts a friend, an ex, a parents, posts on her wall, etc and BAM attention. There was never an attempt, but now there is attention. Doesn't wotk for all girls. But it never works for boys.

Nevermind the fact that for most of human history men have gone out to die for women. 99% of history is men and women eating shit together in different ways. Oh you couldn't vote? Welcome to most men's lives. There's a lot of shit we pass of as oppression that just wasn't by the era's context. Women could stay at home and take care of their kids, men couldn't. Women got to vote without having to register to be killed. See how easy it is to create victims? Life sucks and has sucked for eons. Wome…

Find a lawyer, fast. Get the best one you can, if they have experience in defending men or in domestic violence real or false even better.

AItA has a huge sexism problem. My wife audibly gasps whenever we listen to stories and the comments don't immediately blame the men for everything. Especially on the issue of paternity testing.

I hate how reddit always recommends people break up, so let me be clear about this: Break up. Your relationship is already abusive. Your GF abuses you and then blames you and your whole gender for the abuse. Break up for your own self respect, you deserve better.

The subs for relationship and survivinginfidelity have numerous examples of fathers provingbto the court they aren't the father, but still getting stuck footing the bill because married. The state doesn't want to pay for the child, nor to find the real father.

I'm in Quebec. When I left the hospital, my baby had no names attached to her. We had to file with the minister of civil affairs to declare ourselves the parents. So if I learned tomorrow that my child wasn't mine, I'd be going to court against my own previously stated words. Also, I could have put in ANY name I wanted. The application just asks a name. That left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

You do know everybody has access to the dictionary right? Why do you think lying will get you a free pass? Equality: same opportunities Equity: same outcomes These are vastly different. Why are you lying?

I've had something similar said to me at work. My wife is stay at home while I work. We discussed this and it's something we're both comfortable with. But an old colleague told me she thought of me as abusive ever since I mentionned it. That I'm forcing my wife to be a mother and that I'm forcing her to have no agency. Nvm the fact that I encourage her to have her own money and to have an escape egg just in case. (My mom is in a position where she can never leave my step dad. I genuinely think t…

I was joking about being an hypocondriac yesterday and my wife said something profond to me. "You're not, you just weren't taken seriously over your worries by a sexist doctor and now you're not able to feel confident in your health." I've been having a high heart rate and chest pain for over a year, nothing major to kneel over, but enough to have me worried. The doctor I met just said "you men always think you have a heart problem as soon as you have anything with your chest". I'll admit it mad…

I'm married and expecting my first child in a few months and yet I get called an incel often for my opinions on men's righrs, feminism, and abortion. My wife doesn't post online but she's much more direct than I am on all those topics. They'd call her an ibcel because at thjs point it's an insult they use to express their impotent rage.

That when they sacrifice their lives for the women they love, generations later will call it oppression. That when society requires them to die while their wives are forced to stay at home, one will be the oppressor and the other the oppressed. That basic biology making it so only women can be pregnant will eventually too become their fault and that reproducing caused their wives to be oppressed whether she wanted it or not. That no matter how much they love their wife or daughter, they are miso…

That's exactly how you get stupid managers who create deadlines that cannot be met or hire incompetent employees. I've seen it personally. A manager who can't do the bare minimum of the job is a problem-creating idiot.

Just go to any government agency website and count the high ranking women vs men? At my office job it's 5 women per man. Recently we also heard about secret Zoom/Teams/Skype chat rooms where female employees shared job applications with each other. Some higher rank would warn others about upcoming positions before the men. Nothing to do about it really since it technically didn't break the rules. HR, Union boss, direct boss, and higher boss are all women who keep sharing emails about the wage ga…

We're already seeing it. Women "struggling" to find good men. Men disengaging from society overall and more and more crime coming from kids of single mothers.

You're right. The more incel and mgtow places get banned or limited the more they flock here. Men's Rights Activism isn't misogyny, it isn't pick-up artistry, it isn't mgtow or incelism.

Many are willfully blind to this crap. A friend of mine considers herself a "real feminist" but never really talks about it. She'll just defend feminism whenever she sees it being criticized by saying that's not "real" feminism. But then, when I point out actual feminists using this garbage all the time, she'll just keep quiet and say she hasn't seen proof of it. Despite all the evidence thrown in her face. They just want to remain blind because it's easier than admitting women aren't horribly o…

Yep! Totally agreed, but we know that with my upbringing I'll be the one most tempted to say yes (especially since I can almost never say no to my wife, but she's very good at pacing herself), so we know she'll be able to keep me in check, and I'll be able to listen to her enough to adjust our behaviors.

Sounds to be in the right place honestly. This is a sub that gets routinely called names just because it's men trying to fight for their rights and not a preapproved "minority" The wife and I are very libertarian-minded and are very centrist in some issues. The words of MLK resonate with us greatly and we hope to raise a child that will be able to view the world critically instead of following the mainstream garbage and the strings of terror we keep seeing everywhere.

For what it's worth, my wife is super open to the idea of paternity tests, because she knows how unfair the laws and courts are, but I'm not asking for one since she's super open with her phone and stuff and we weren't away from one another for more than 15 minutes at the time of conception because of work from home and covid. Some women would rather have that doubt squashed immediately even if it's for nothing and it's not fair for fateful wives. But one need only check /relationship to see why…

Haha, already started brushing the wife's hair and yeah, getting people telling me it's a breath of fresh air to have a dad that knows how to braid. Idk feels a bit cringe that all these ladies at my workplace are basically trashtalking their husbands in public.

Thankfully with Covid this isn't an issue. We literally both never left the house for 2-3 weeks around conception time. My wife's open with her phone and everything. While I'm not blind, I can still say that I found one of the very few ladies who is happy to be a trad-wife and would never risk what we've built.

Thanks for this. I'm 90% sure this is completley unnecessary, but looking at my workplace, the news, and society in general, I feel like it's better to be overprepared than not, haha.

The manic pixie dream girl is a trope that needs to die. I've known too many women like that who get vlorified by men while they are just crazy and hide their flaws behind their "quirks".

Don't forget things like times of Crisis. Women and children first. Always. And as the most corrupt politician in the history of the USA once said. >Women have always been the primary victims of war

So I guess it makes more sense now Except this guy is really trying to find a reason for why she would do that. No amount of "she still should have done that" can really cover after you try to find a reason for the victimization to have happened. > He was a dick It's a competition, he was having a bit of banter. It happens all the time. You're also contributing to this bullshit. You're making a very blatant false equivalence between their actions. Words aren't violence, violence is violence. She…
