| 1 | Guy pulls over, opens and closes car door in general vicinity of child. EVERYBODY PANICMy own story example of a child abduction overreaction: I take the bus to work. I live in a strange area that has a self contained community nearby. It's a large suburban neighborhood surrounded by trees, with only one entry/exit. There is only one possible way for me to go, to get to my bus stop, and it takes me past this entry/exit. | 6 | Innocent man's rape convictions wiped clean(rage warning)Very very true. Recanting should be encouraged. Yet, she should still be punished. The argument can be made that you would prevent LESS false accusations, if you make examples of punishing these accusers. The reverse will also be true though. Punishing accusers, may scare off legit accusers (Actual rape victims for instance). Its a tricky area. | /r/MensRights | 10/11/12 02:32 PM |
| 13 | Innocent man's rape convictions wiped clean(rage warning)I hope the original Accuser/Liar gets jail time for this. In cases like this, I'd like the severity and length of incarceration to be equal to the crime you lied about. Throw her in jail for 4 years, and see how she likes it. | /r/MensRights | 10/11/12 02:20 PM |
