No ascending pay or anything after the first day, that I recall. My friend got called earlier this year. 1	Ah yes, justice, courtesy of an idiot on Quora Same here and I’m 30. My friend just got summoned earlier this year and didn’t end up even needing to serve. I believe he said he had to care for someone at home, which is true in a way. I can’t quite recall. They let him go home though. I’ve always been kind of curious, but mostly I think the judicial system in the US is absolute fucking garbage, so I would like to actually do good by someone and be as fair as absolutely possible.
