This is sort of true. That being said, most people generally have at least a few key issues they hold strong views on. Thus, it would be reasonable to assume in dating/mating they’re actively seeking people of a similar mindset while avoiding potential partners unsympathetic to their beliefs—especially the more critical ones.

Your argument is probably better suited to exploring the variance in original intentions held by men who have employed the “friend-zone to end-zone” tactic—knowingly or otherwise—in romantic pursuit of a woman.
