Not sworn off, but for me it’s either very easy and natural or nothing. I’ll put in a bit of effort to meet women and I enjoy the social aspect of casual dating and getting laid every once in a while. But I do not and will not make any compromises to my lifestyle and my plans for the future to accommodate a relationship, if I meet someone who fits in perfectly and I with her, them that would be amazing. If not that’s fine, I’m very happily single

Yes there are double standards in life, this is a good example. Yes women have expectations put upon them to look a certain way. It’s not fair. And conversely if we are escaping a sinking ship, or a war zone, it’s women and child first. Thems the breaks kid!

Yeah, I’m at the point where I’m think fuck it, let’s disband the union. Let the rep of Ireland and the EU deal with the religious nut cases in Northern Ireland. Good luck to the socialists in Scotland trying to not end up being a third world country, by having an economy based on tourism, whiskey, irn bru, and North Sea oil that’ll be worthless as everyone wants to be carbon neutral in a few years 😂. I like Wales and the Welsh, maybe England and Wales could stick together. We could have an awes…

How many other politicians had the balls to call out the EU out on it’s bullshit, and take us out of an undemocratic union? They’re clearly the men of 52% of the people. And they did it with the establishment against them. Posters on the tube? Well, I’m not surprised, but that’s Londoner’s fault for voting in Sadiq Khan. Were these posters there when Boris was mayor of London?

I’ve been saying for years the EU is an overreaching, authoritarian and dangerous political project. And this is yet another example of it. Thank god for Nigel Farage, Boris Johnson and my fellow Englishmen for voting leave. Brexit is the best thing that ever happened in British politics. To the anti EU movement in other European countries I say, never give up, you can follow our lead, organise yourselves and make it happen. You can be proud independent and free sovereign nations once again. Nev…

Women aren’t wonderful, some of them are real cunts. But they do tend to have a more agreeable personality
/r/AntiFeminists03/06/22 06:15 PM

It’s probably true. Women tend to be more agreeable, so by extension they would be more cooperative

I don’t think it’s a big deal. Everyone looks a death and deals with grief differently. I’ve cried my heart out after hearing the news of the death of a loved one, and been in utter pieces at a funeral. Buy a few days later I’m over it. I’ve never visited a grave or anything like that, I don’t need to pay my respects, I respected people when they were living.

Then why get ‘irked’ over a light laugh. Most people consider some light ribbing as a way to get to know someone, and build a more intimate relationship. Obviously there is a line between a few jokes and bulling or disrespect.

Think you’re a bit overly sensitive mate. ‘A light laugh’ your words. If you can’t handle a light laugh at your expense, you need to chill out a bit.

The comment about him not dating women his age says it all. These women are jealous that some men can remain and become more desirable as they age, where as women do not.

There is an earnings gap, this is largely down to time out of the workforce due to having children. A career minded woman could negate this by deciding to marry and have a family with a man who is a minimum wage labourer. Then her husband would be the stay at home parent and she could be the breadwinner. But for some reason women aren’t really attracted to guys who earn significantly less than her

I’m in England, I say if someone is crazy enough to try to cross the English Channel in a fucking rubber boat, in the middle of fucking winter, man or woman, leave them to it. If they drown then that’s just natural selection doing it’s job.

On point 2, I wouldn’t say ‘men’s work’ is more difficult than ‘woman’s work’. It’s more about different people are suited to different professions, in my case I work construction and I really love it. I’m sure there are men would would find my job extremely difficult, but not me I find it easy. Conversely i couldn’t possibly work with children, or as a caregiver or even as a receptionist of some sort, I haven’t got the skills or personality for that kind of work so I would find it very difficul…

They sort of are two separate countries. One party considers themselves Irish the other party considers themselves British. It was a war that lasted 30 or so years, and could reignite at any moment, because of shitty leadership.

In ww2 a private in the British army daily pay rate was between 2 shillings and 6 shillings. An indication of buying power 1 shilling would purchase 12 pints of beer in 1940!

In uk military service is voluntary and compensated by way of getting paid. Reserve army get paid and some tax free bonuses. When conscription and national service was a thing the men were compensated again by getting paid. November 11th is Remembrance Sunday, it’s to remember all who have died and served in all conflicts. This goes hand in hand with the poppy appeal which funds the royal British legion a charity that supports veterans in need. There is also other charities like help for heroes …

The average salary in Canada is $50k and in UK it’s £27k according to google. Convert $50k to pounds equals £29k, so the average Canadian earns more! Minimum wage is £8.91 so approximately $15

I don’t live in London or the south east. Most local pubs try to a pint under a fiver. 4 drinks or 2 each the change is obviously pence, not pounds.

My rule for a first date is a midweek drink or two in a quite pub. Midweek so doesn’t mess with mine or her weekend plans, plus we are probably both working the next day so going to be an early night so no pressure on anyone, easy excuse to leave after an hour. It’s inexpensive, if I pay for all of it I should get some change out of £20. A public place so we can check out if each other is not a psycho. A drink relaxes most people a bit. And a quite pub so you can talk and actually get to know ea…

I understand what you’re saying, but I guess my question is, why be socio-sexually restrictive? If women are more promiscuous these days, then take it as a win, as men we don’t need to be put into the role of faithful husband/father/provider just to get sex.
/r/MensRights20/02/22 01:22 AM

If a woman expects sexual exclusivity from me she is taking the same gamble. But in all honesty, I’ve not been able to live up to an expectation like that for more than a couple of years. I guess I assume everyone cheats a little, it’s adds a little bit of excitement.
/r/MensRights19/02/22 11:54 PM

I don’t care if it’s politically correct, if I’m attracted to someone, that’s all that matters to me. But then I’m quite promiscuous, I’ve cheated in the past, no one found out, so no harm done.

It doesn’t make me upset, not much I this world does. I still don’t give a shit how many previous partners a woman has had. 0 or 1000, if I want her, I want her. It’s not scientific, it’s about desire, does she turn me on? Is all I care about.

/r/MensRights19/02/22 08:43 PM

I personally don’t care how many partners a potential girlfriend has had. As long as she is comfortable with her past, I am. I’ve had enough to feel like I’ve had my fun, and not so many that I feel ashamed of myself. It’s not a competition of who has got the most options or who is more virtuous.

The wage gap isn’t a myth. It’s just got nothing to do with gender, and everything to do with choices people make. Have children or don’t have children. Work late or go home early. Private sector or public sector. A nice safe retail shop or a North Atlantic fishing trawler (those guys are making serious coin apparently) Make your choices and get paid accordingly

During the independence referendum, the yes campaign whole economic argument was based off of North Sea oil and gas. With the way the world has moved in terms of fossil fuel, net zero carbon that idea is fucked. Tourism and whiskey exports won’t prop up an economy. Scotland would be fucked without London. Just like how England would be fucked without London, the city of London (square mile). Financial services is pretty much the only thing that make the uk a g7 country

The entire article is about PLASTIC packaging. I never said anything about ‘being green’. I don’t give a shit about carbon footprints. I choose local, small businesses like butchers, green grocers and farm shops/markets so I know where my food is coming from, the people and the methods behind it all. However your point about water does hold some merit, in so much as, is bottled water better than tap, for drinking? Well that is dependent on country. But with regards to watering vegetables, it’s a…

Buy loose fruit and vegetables from a local green grocer, buy meat from a local butcher. The places I go to, wrap and package in paper and cardboard. It’s more work than going to a supermarket, but, it’s local produce and seasonal food. 👍

Casual sex? In previous generations if a man wanted sex he would have had to get married, or at least commit to one woman. These days it’s not like that.

Here’s the thing, most normal women don’t complain about unpaid labour at home, just like most normal men don’t either, because cleaning, cooking, laundry, property maintenance, childcare and helping out elderly relatives isn’t labour. It’s just taking care of yourself and your family, it’s what people are supposed to do. The only people complaining are the activists and crazy extreme feminists

Because a misanthrope has an unjustified, irrational hatred of humankind. Mistrusting people has nothing to do with it, most sensible people don’t trust everyone blindly, they would only trust someone after getting to know them a bit.

I’m not campaigning to end circumcision, I personally am not cut and here in the uk it’s more common for a man to be intact. But I do believe it’s a barbaric act of mutilation and should be outlawed. I also believe that a women isn’t allowed to voice an opinion on this subject.
