Exactly I want a forever home

I want a garage. I want to make it my own. And I want a forever home. I went to college, I spent my whole life working. I provided for others. It’s my turn! I deserve it! I do not use that word very often.

LOL, NO more women. NONE. I am done. I will live a life of happiness and peace

It doesn’t matter. The plan would be to own it forever and eventually turn it into a rental. In the meantime, you have a roof over your head.

Assume that that costs $2 million minimum. How can you afford afford that? You’re starting from zero. You don’t have a home.

I guess I was looking for people to put forth actual plans for wealth building. I will propose another plan. Buy a box truck and live in it. Just be homeless for a while. Put all the money into the bank and investments.

Being hours away isn’t an option

Where would you live in the meantime?

Sure, but what about when you’re starting from nothing. No local family. No friends. No significant savings. No other home.

That would be $2-3 million. How are you going to do that? You are starting with zero.

Renting is not significantly cheaper here. We’re talking $3000-$4000 a month. Besides there is no time to waste money. Every single earned dollar must be accumulated as soon as possible

It sounds like this is something anybody in their late 40s and early 50s might experience anyway. I’m starting to experience losing many loved ones at the same time kids are getting older and one is off to college. And our family doesn’t do “kid stuff“ anymore.

Women marry a man and want him to change. Men marry a woman and want her to never change.

I do laundry, dishes, investments, bills, taxes, car maintenance, driving kids to their activities, Christmas cards, cooking and grocery shopping. She tells me and all her friends I’m “not a good provider” and that she “does everything” To clarify, I do all of the laundry, including bedsheets for a family of four people

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
