Several people have debunked the wage gap and have said it doesn’t exist several times giving the exact same answers as you and I have. I’m not saying they should pay for it. I’m saying there is no wage gap actual wage gap due to discrimination based on gender. It’s just simply because women are typically the ones to stay home much longer with child care and stuff. It’s not that they aren’t being paid the same amount. Idk why people think there is some wage gap when there isn’t.

Basically. It is used to take care of the child of course but the courts also want the child to live the same type of lifestyle it’s accustomed to when the parents were together. Can’t have them living a lavish lifestyle then all of a sudden be poor basically
