The media was falling over itself to try to explain her motives, why she became a killer, how someone so 'normal' could do such terrible things, etc. Journalists looked into her childhood, her relationships, her career, the NHS, society in general... Personally, I'm happy to see women talking about men's issues, but with topics like this guests should be chosen based on their expertise or insight, rather than purely on their opposition to other guests' views. It isn't a topic that needs 'balance', which too often for the BBC means an argument with unhinged people.
