This is true, but it’s completely obtuse. Most people live in cities surrounded by thousands of people within walking distance.

This is the answer. My brother was talking with my cousin at Thanksgiving, and he said he didn’t want to go to his high school reunion. My cousin said “yeah and now with Instagram or whatever there’s no reason to go just to catchup. You know what everyone is doing, and anyone you actually care about you already see.” Convenience and commodification of social interactions has overtaken genuine human connection because these companies have simply gotten that good at farming us. And then COVID hit,…

I said what I said very specifically. If you want to strawman or just debate just to get upset about something, then go somewhere else.

Well, I don't think loving women should be a function of being attracted to them because that means that it is dependent on their sexual value. We should just care about human beings in general because we're all human. I think being attracted to women because they're women is obviously fine, but different than stating the reason why you would love them is because you are attracted to them. I mean, surely you can love a man or a child, and you aren't attracted to them. I mean, I don't think femin…

Yup, lowest birth rate in the world and dropping. That shit is actually scary. The truth is that our biggest enemies are the ruling class. We have more than enough money for everyone, and if we had the same wealth/income distribution of 1970, there’d be a lot less complaining from everyone. Money talks lol. I definitely think this isn’t the time to fight fire with fire. Fight fire with love. Be a good person. Most women aren’t radical feminists, and if you don’t give them a reason to radicalize,…

Yeah, I mean that's why I think we should ignore the feminists on reddit because they don't really represent most women. It just gets you into this really dark place that I think is unproductive. Whenever people on this subreddit complain about things "women" said, it's usually things feminists said that most women would never say if you just interacted with them in real life. Even if people are concealing what they "really" believe, which you can't know, and if you are too obsessed with this, y…

That's blackpill bullshit. Personality and confidence do matter, but they aren't the only things that matter.

This is why you should avoid extremists. Both the left and the right are full of batshit crazy people. Fuck ideology. I just focus on reality.

I think avoiding labels is productive because different people have their own ideas of what they mean, and they can easily end up assuming things about you that aren't true.

Not accusing you directly. Just putting a reminder because I see how fast people slip in this sub. Most people here clearly have a lot of anger that is probably disproportionate to what is actually happening. I mean, for one thing, most women aren't feminists, and if you mentioned issues like suicide being one of the most common causes of death amongst men and increasing to a woman, she'd probably just be like "wow, that's really sad." In fact, the only place I've ever seen talk similar to the k…

I don't know, but I think that blaming men for this is literal victim blaming, and if I said something about women who were raped like "yo you gotta defend yourself or start doing self defense that is the solution, not trying to prevent rape in the first place." like is that gonna go over well? Not only that... should it go over well? Probably not. I am not disagreeing btw that men should or shouldn't make their own groups. I am saying that you could easily be victim blaming by saying that depen…

There are pros and cons to both genders, and it of course depends where in the world you live. I think feminism makes a ton of sense in a place like Afghanistan, for example. Or those African tribes where they cut out the clitoris. Those places are horrible for women. I think in the United States... I'd honestly rather be a woman. They probably face higher levels of sexual violence, but you're more likely to be killed as a man, so... overall, I'd take my chances. Better educational attainment, l…

I mean for me personally, if someone told me my wife could make all the money, and I could stay home and do domestic chores, I am going to say 100% "yes, please." Idk, maybe a lot of men wouldn't, but I promise you that if I lead with that in dating, I am going to have almost no women be interested. They definitely want the traditional gender roles more than men do, especially in the modern age where women have a lot more rights than they used to, but they haven't lost any of the privilege from …

We should be careful not to become too emotional and end up blinded by anger because we can easily end up the same as them, and then we're the same thing just the other gender. I think that's important as well otherwise we just become the thing we hate.. keep that in mind. Dot not succumb to it.

I am 100% for women's rights. I am not for Reddit feminism. They are clearly sexist against men. I don't believe in sexism in either direction. That's barbaric. I said in a feminist subreddit that we should have legalized abortion, maternity/paternity leave, and work to reduce the amount of sexual violence that women face, and that there are also things that men face that we should tackle as well such as higher suicide rates and shorter lifespans, and that we should work together to end these th…

What she should have said is that she will not show her butthole unless he shows his. Butthole for butthole. That is fair.

People are allowed to pierce themselves, split their tongue, whatever. Would you ban all that too? Not very leftwing at all to restrict people's freedoms like that imo.

I think men who don't respect women (but aren't going to full on sexual assault, but maybe just being aggressive up until the point it is illegal but stopping short of that) are actually more likely to end up with women because they are taking more shots. Simple numbers game. This is especially true because women do not approach men, generally speaking, so men who are aggressive and care less about boundaries will do better under this system. Women refusing to be the ones who approach men reinfo…

A lot of feminists want this anyways, that women should work so they can be independent. There was a post in the feminist subreddit saying exactly that, and it got a lot of upvotes saying that feminism pretty much requires adult women to work just like a man would. I honestly think that if you cut out the sexist gender was craziness, feminism and men’s rights should really want the same thing, equality regardless of gender. But when I tried to mention that in the feminist subreddits, I just got …

The fact that you only consider that the “man’s” child is insane. I guess feminists hate their kids and only consider them labor? Fucking unreal.

I think the house is a fair deal if she isn’t working because if she doesn’t work, she will be fucked if you divorce. If she does work, then… well, you’re already giving some things for free, which is generous, and I don’t see the problem?

Yup, and the dumb thing is that the vast majority of men here would 100% support equality for women. Equal pay for equal work. Opportunities for abortion and maternity leave. I mean, all these things are good for society, which means men benefit as well. And unless you’re a psycho, you’d like to see sexual violence against women decrease as well, but if you mention any hope of helping men as well in the same breath, then you’re a POS upholding the patriarchy. If you dare mention that men are twi…
