You have poor reading comprehension. Do you not see how the comment you're responding to already negates the analogy you make? I do NOT believe she is in the body anymore, you could say she's in purgatory you could say she's in some holding zone for ghosts, you could say she has died and gone on to the underworld only returning when the new entity is no longer conscious. Again I believe Nikki is for all intents and purposes gone. She returns, but she does not return from an unaware State inside …

I would say I gave examples in other comments as to why I believe she is not in her body and simply unaware.

Well we disagree, as I said I do NOT believe she is in her body but somewhere else,I even give reasons I believe it in other comments.

He's feckless, delusional and pathetic with almost any other choice he makes in the movie besides the very first one he makes(the wish).

Passed out would still leave you resident inside your body, just unaware. This is my whole point that apparently no one has the reading comprehension for. I do not believe that her consciousness is a permanent resident inside her body anymore. I do not believe she's simply 'not in the drivers seat' but still in the body but that she returns from somewhere else, which I gave multiple examples of in replies to the other commenter and at least implied strongly enough for you to have gleaned reading…

She returns at night when Willows consciousness is 'not there' so to speak. But yes I mentioned the making out scenes(and all the others where she returns) in the comment you replied to by implication and said 'we do not know from where she is returning' which you did not address. But to look back on the makeout scenes we see that she is shocked at what's going on(i.e. is not inside the body observing and is somewhere else) before Willow regains control. Reiterating that the support call Bear ma…

Are there implications that Nikki is inside watching, but unable to control the body? There are moments where lets say Willow for ease is kicked out and Nikki returns, but we don't know from where she is returning. Later on in the movie when Bear calls the support for the product I do not get the impression *at all* that Nikki is simply inside her body as a spectator to Willow.

I would say that Bear is extremely unlikable however not a rapist. For instance if you took someone, removed their brain and replaced it with a brain specially programmed to be into you and put it in that person's 'corpse', you would not be raping that original person, the original person is gone. The being that comes to inhabit Nikki has one goal, 'Love Bear more than anything in the fucking world'. I think if any claim to rape can be made it's that it's statutory rape of the very childlike bei…

Is that really a useful or logical thing to say? The equivalent of a man saying for instance 'women could get any guy to sleep with them!' kind of ignores the whole point(though I would concede in this instance it seems like something could've grown there if the movie had gone differently)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
