I couldn't agree more. Humans are way too self important. We're organic beings, we have no more rights than any other organic being. Some animals die. That's just how it works.

That's a bit unecessary. There's no reason to roll anyone down the stairs. If I were stuck behind a really fat fuck I'd climb over and be on my way. If I had a specific reason to roll his ass down, I wouldn't hesitate, but I wouldn't just do it because he's fat. That's just top shelf douchery.

Dowry is ANY exchange of goods or estate between parties as a condition of marriage. There have been many societies/situations where the male side "bought" the bride from her family.

The answer to this is not to give these benefits to gay people, it's to eliminate them completely for everyone as a part of marriage. You can designate any person you like to make your medical decisions. It just needs to be added as one of those things you do as part of being an adult. Not even close. Financial/political reasons were the ONLY reason to marry then, from the poor who sold their daughters for marriage dowries, to nobles who married off their children to seal alliances (and for even bigger dowries)
